Woah. The hubby's Android went wacko one morning. It's less than 6 months old, but it didn't have a charge when he picked up his phone that morning. He plugged the charger back in and it looked like it was going to charge, then nothing. He took his phone to the new U-tec by Shaw and Blackstone and left it to be checked out. Later in the day he checked in with the guy there to see what he'd found out. The tech said he thought it was fixed but wanted to leave it on the charger until the next morning. The next morning, the hubby went by to pick up his phone. A wire had become loose inside the phone and that was preventing it from charging. $40 and the hubby was on his way. It's been a couple weeks now and his phone is still charging fine. Please note that the tech may be the only person on duty when you stop by, so please be patient. I was secretly celebrating the fact that my son chose to do his own laundry until we realized that his iPhone went through almost a whole laundry cycle. We pulled it out of a pool of soapy water, ran it to Michael at U-Tec, and crossed our fingers. The process took a few days, as water damage repair can be pretty extensive and Michael was very thorough. I wouldn't trust them they added a different gpu from what I told them to install. Also my pc hasn't been running stable since I've got it back. I'm worried that they may have done something else to it. If this happened to my pc they could have done or will continue to do this to other customers. read more

I was having trouble with my PS-5. After spending hours online with Sony and not getting any help I decided to bring it in to U-tec. Michael was a great help, he was transparent on the approach he was going to take with the PS-5. After a couple days I was able to pick up my system. He was able to figure out the problem with it and fixed it.
