Ivan is the best! He helped me out. I texted through Yelp to get a quote on my sons switch and he said free diagnostics so that was a plus cus other places was charging $60-$70. I don't wanna pay that shit and then I find out ain't shit wrong with it.. which that was the case!!! So he saved me some money. I brought it in, I told him what I thought might be wrong with it cus the shit wouldn't turn on so I assumed it needed replacement charging port, nope wrong. He called me back within less then an hour I think after i dropped it off. Found that it was just super fuckkn dead. Battery went into hibernation after my son had it dead for so long and I lagged on getting it looked at for months lol.. I didn't kno that could happen. Anyway, I pick it up, brought my switch charger too cus for some reason it wasn't working on that so we wanted to c if I had a bad charger. Found out charger was fine.. left feeling great cus my sons happy & I didn't get charged anything cus it was a free diagnostics. Hell yeah! My son gets his switch and Ivan gained a new customer! CellFix Clovis was the first place to respond to my request for phone repair with the lowest estimate. ($70) They also told me how long the repair would take. I had dropped my new iPhone 16 and thought I broke the camera lenses. When I took it in I was told that it wasn't the lenses that broke, only the protector/cover for the lenses. Super fast, easy and inexpensive replacement by a really nice guy. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, for under $20! So impressed by how incredibly honest this was because some other shop could have easily charged me the $75-$120 (the other estimates) for work that didn't actually need to be done. I dropped off my phone to see if they can help fix my broken Samsung, after a few hours of checking - they said it would require a full body replacement - I decided not to go through with the service because that would cost too much money for me versus how much I actually paid for the phone. I would strongly recommend using ubreak ifix over this particular location. I sent my 15 yo in to have his cell phone repaired on an Apple SE. It was repaired but soon started having the same issue. I contacted them and after first telling us they had no record of his repair I insist it was that location and finally found confirmation of the repair. He then tells me my warranty was expired in September. I asked him to consider doing the repair since it was not far out of warranty and for the exact same issue. He wanted to go back and forth and denied my request. Needless to say I went to Ubreak Ifix on Shaw. They repaired my screen immediately with a year warranty. This guy only guaranteed his work for 3 months and was unwilling to assist me with any possible solution other than more money to fix his work. SMH !!!!! Run and find someone else!!! read more
