No customer loyalty incentive. They just want to get you in and overcharge. Initially I recommended to so many people and feel horrible that a few rented. Apparently, the national number gets kickbacks when they circumvent the phone calls to them, and they charge significantly more than Alren at the Plano office charges. Like a LOT more. So, if you call their local number, make sure to ask the full name of the representative and where he/she/they are at the moment. Or just ask for Alren. He will take good care of you. The place is SO clean and new and climate controlled. It's the nicest storage center I'd ever seen, and the local staff there is exceptionally nice and friendly.

I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. I got the online discount and reserved my unit, and the next day (or three - I admit nothing), I went in to finalize the rental with some general paperwork. Easy peasy. Check your homeowners/rental insurance before going in to see if they cover storage. PS requires insurance, which is pretty standard. The cheapest they offer is $11/mo.

For the past 2 weeks, the service elevator in Building B has been locked in "Fire Recall" mode. Nobody on the second floor can access their unit because the elevator is stuck, with its door WIDE OPEN, on the first floor. I first encountered this issue two weeks ago when I came to access my unit. When I could not, I left. I came back last week, assuming the issue had been resolve. It had not. I had to report the issue through the public service kiosk, due to there being no manager present. To top it all off, they raised the rent $12. I resell stuff on eBay and not having access to my inventory is killing my business.

The rent goes up fast!…read more The facility was clean and easy to access. The rate for the 5x10 unit was $51/month in August 2024 (after a $41/month introductory rate for three months). They increased the price quickly. In May 2025, they raised the rent to $66/month, and they just notified me that on February 2026, the rent would increase to $86/month. That's a 30% increase every 9 months, a 70% increase in a year and a half. I'm moving my stuff out before the next rent increase goes into effect. If I were to do it again, I would only consider Public Storage for short-term rental (less than a year).
