I would rate them a zero star if that were an option. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BRANCH EVER. THE MANAGER LIES AND IS THE MOST INCOMPETENT PERSON FOR HIS POSTION. I tracked the shipping on a particular package and it stated that it was delivered. It was not, I never got it. I'm in a small two story office building and I asked all the tennants if they got my package by accident. They all said no. I called the post office, told them the situation and someone informed me that it was labeled as delivered incorrectly and in fact my package was still on the mail truck and would be delivered later in the day. I waited and the package never came. I called the post office again and this time I spoke to the manager and he tells me that it was already delivered the previous day. If it's marked as delivered then it's been delivered and they can do nothing more. I tried to tell him the situation and he hung up on me! I called back immediately and after 10 mins of being on hold, he tells me again that it was already delivered and that he has the image of the shipping label right in front of him and because it had no suite number it's my fault that I didn't receive my package. I asked him to email me the image or if I came in to the post office in person to show me the label and he said NO WAY! I have proof that all the necassary information including the suite number was on the label correctly. He wouldn't hear me out at all. He then tells me that he spoke to the mailman who delivered the mail and he remembers delivering the package. I asked him to ask the mailman if he delivered the package to the upstairs offices or the downstairs office, the downstairs is just my office and the manager says that the mailman is too old to remember that detail. Are you kidding me??!! He remembers making the delivery but doesn't remember upstairs or downstairs? They lie, They lose your mail/package and they don't care. I yelled at him that he sucks and hung up. It's pointless. They're not going to help so best thing is to AVOID THIS POST OFFICE LIKE IT'S A PLAGUE. read more

Completely understand why the USPS is going bankrupt... customer service is non-existent. Rude employees... act like they are doing ME a favor by answering a simple question like, "excuse me where are the boxes that 'if it fits it ships'?" No help - sooner they go belly up the better the tax payer will be. No more USPS subsidies. read more

Staff at this branch are terrible, especially the Asian guy (Sorry I don't know his name but looks like a Korean and he's skinny) who is soooo unfriendly and show no patience at all. Today I went to check my package and he didn't listen to my query but simply said "it's your problem, I don't know I don't know) then tried to close the window and walk away. Worst customer service! The gentleman who checked me out demanded that he works not service me unless I was off the phone. There are no signs intending that I cannot be on the phone while checking out. He continued to be rude even after I hung the phone up and informed him he was rude and nasty. I also advised him to change his attitude and whatever issue he is dealing with is no one else's fault but his. I've dealt with a lot of rude people but he by far was the most of all. I had a horrible experience at this post office. I arrive with a package that needs tape, but there is none at the self wrap station. I wait in line to get the tape (finally get it) and have to go all the way to back of line because I needed to tape package. When I arrive at window, the attendant asks for the tape. Why is the wrapping tape at the window IF YOU HAVE TO WRAP AT THE SELF - SERVE station?? Additionally, staff showed zero friendly attitude and zero interest in moving the line quicker. I went there recently to mail a package around noon on a Saturday. Everything seemed okay; there were several customers, but people were being helped in a reasonable amount of time and the staffing level seemed satisfactory. The person who helped me at the counter was fine. The only improvement I would suggest would be to label the "entrance" and 'exit" lines a little more clearly. (I stood in the wrong place until another customer pointed out my error.) read more

I don't usually post reviews, however, I couldn't not post my experience with this post office. Having just moved here, I was expecting an important package to arrive within a couple days. The package never arrived and when I contacted the seller and USPS, I was told they attempted to deliver the package but no one responded. As I've been home unpacking, I know that this is a complete lie. USPS stated that a note was left on the door (not true) and that the mail person knocked on the door (again, not true). They then assured me that the package would be re-delivered the next day, however, that day came and went and still, no package. I have been on the phone with both USPS and the seller multiple times and still...no package. So, I've come to the conclusion that we just don't get mail in McLean. My creditors, no doubt, will love that. read more

So, I show up for my 1:30pm appointment today, after rushing to make it there slightly early out of courtesy. Well, the door is locked with no customers. So, I knock, and no one answers. I walk to the other side of the building, and let them know that I'm here. Zero help. So, I call the number and ask what's going on. Ten minutes goes by, and someone finally comes to help me. Pretty rude. He said that he had to take his lunch hour later because a previous customer was late. And? Cut your lunch hour short by 10 minutes, you have tax-paying customers to service. There's been some improvement in customer relations at this branch, but unfortunately their ability to forward mail is abysmal. It's supposed to take 7-10 days for mail to be forwarded, and I've been waiting 25 days so far. Even a promise from the manager that he would personally collect all our mail and send it himself has yielded nothing. read more

Has No One reported this Cluster to the Postmaster General? I have been going back and forth with this pathetic excuse of a post office going on 6 days now for a package that they have! So it says it was delivered to "agent." If the business was closed, how was it delivered to an "agent." OH, I know, they say it was left in an area in our company where the mail is left when no one is available. So an empty room is an agent? WT? Okay, no worries, let me have them go check. Umm, two checks and NOTHING! WHY because they did NOT deliver it to our area. Our firm is a national company so how can you not know but yet there is a ton of mail coming through! No worries, they will call me back when they locate the package as I have a tracking number. Call back, after three subsequent conversations, stating they have found the package and will have it delivered. Yeah! Go to offsite meeting and get call from mailroom that there is a package for me but the postal clerk says there is postage due. WHAT?!! Did I not say, I already paid the company $15.00 for postage? Mind you, this package is only about large as a 15" laptop fully opened! So I get back to the office call the post office again! Get some more run around and then call back again as the lady who knows about this was out and now no answer!! Go home and then call again today since I am back at work and whola! They can't locate the package again!! Just between yesterday afternoon and today!! Call and speak to the one representative who has been really professional and she is going to look into it again and try and get in touch with the clerk who brought it over and took it back. No answers from her and no return call about the status. Call back and get the rudest man ever who also hung up not only on me be out mailroom coordinator twice! I will be forwarding a complaint about him once I get his name from another co-worker. I call back and get another individual who is also professional and trying to assist and he gets in touch with yesterday's clerk and she can't really tell him where she put the package and they have not been able to fine it. What the hell happened with processes? No wonder we are always missing our mail. Finally, it is almost the end of day 5 and still no one knows where my package is that has been in the postal system longer than it took to come from Michigan to Virginia! #customerservice read more

The staffs here are rude, especially a guy who talks bluntly when people ask questions. He seemed to hate working and lacked basic customer service skills such as answering questions and helping customers, even though that was his duty. When I asked something, he was pissed off for some goddamn reason and answered by looking at me like "Oh gosh, you are so stupid. How come you don't know that?"
