I came in to print out a few documents and since this was my first time here I wasn't sure if They had a self service printer. The two people working this morning were more than helpful, and I was able to just use my USB drive. While I was there, I noticed that they do large scale printing and mailings. That caught my attention because we are in the initial stages of planning our wedding. The two works were exceptionally nice and I wanted to give them credit foe that. They also have a FAX machine which I know for sure I will need at some point in 2025. Without fails, there is always a bank or other lending institution that requests faxes documents, instead of emailing the normal way. Oh my gosh, these reviews are so true I find it amusing. I've gone in there several times and as one review said, "break the ice" with kindness, still doesn't work. Terrible customer service and I don't even expect anything too nice, but that old man with the beard is oddly rude. Something seems up on the time. And yep, the smell. Today I went in to buy USPS postage stamp sheet of 20 stamps. I wanted to buy them before the price goes up tomorrow, August 29. I was charged $13.50 for 20 stamps. I was not given a receipt. It must have been a sheet of stamps for tomorrow's rate increase plus $1.90. I am not happy. The person at the desk seemed more interested in something he was doing when I walked in. The post office would have charged me today's rate of $11.00 for 20 stamps. Maybe I should have asked the price beforehand but I thought I'd be paying $11. read more

This is my favorite place to ship things. I guess its strange to have a favorite shipping place. It is tucked away behind Tysons Corner Mall, next to the La Madeline and the old Circuit City. They handle all your normal shipping needs...DHL, UPS, FedEx...bla bla...they have a packing service and all that jazz. I really like it because I trust the people. They are always super nice and I get the feeling that they actually care about getting my package to its destination. Maybe its the fact that they copy my shipping receipt and highlight the tracking number, then staple their card to it just in case I run into any problems. I don't know...it just makes me smile to go there. Plus, its never busy so I don't have to wait in line. Bonus points. Like all Parcel Plus locations I have used the place looks a little depressing, but the staff are kind and welcoming. Furthermore: they know their shit. If you need a notary I recommend using this Parcel Plus location. The notary on staff is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure everything is in perfect order. The people I was a witness for had to amend the document a few times before the notary would do his thing, but that's what happens when you deal with a pro: they want it correct and they want it infallible. Without his keen eye and know-how we might have encountered problems in the future. Because of him, I'm fully confident the papers will hold up. I was a witnesses for a last will and testament. It's not easy to find someone to notarize a will because most notaries don't understand that they're not being used in a witness capacity, they're just verifying the witnesses and testator are who they say they are. Go here. They're awesome and I'll gladly give them my business again. read more

I went in today and this could NOT have been a bigger waste of time. I had a letter already stamped and a package I needed to pay for postage. I said I wanted the cheapest possible method for this small (and practically weightless) package, and the man not only took about 20 minutes to pay attention to me (I was the only one in the store), but then he quoted me $18. I said I wanted the cheapest possible, which should be under 8 dollars. He said that was the cheapest option, and I said I was going to go to the post office instead. He said their prices were the EXACT same...I went to the post office and it was $3.64 to mail the same package. Clearly your prices are the same. -_- read more

Place stinks as soon as you walk through the door. I mean smells like something other than customer service died in there. Franchise owner was completely rude to every customer in the place. Then came my turn and the gentleman behind the counter was so ridiculously rude I refuse to complete any transaction. Even kindness such as give someone a compliment to break the ice does not work with these people. I do not understand how they can remain in business, which makes me wonder if it's some sort of money laundering business. I will follow up with the local police. I've been going to Parcel Plus for about two years for shipping, dropping off internet returns for shipping (UPS and USPS!), and for the notary services. The place isn't as shiny and new as some other shipping locations, but the man I always see there (probably the owner) always helps me find the least expensive shipping method. Last year for Christmas I had some large boxes to mail to other states, and he helped me re-pack one of them to save a little on shipping. read more

I used Parcel Plus to ship my package via FedEx (or so I thought!!!). I emphasized that I wanted FedEx due to the large quantity of deliveries they make to my corporate destination (my destination was FedEx's largest corporate client). Because I dropped my package off on a Saturday, the clerk notified me that it wouldn't go out until Monday (which was expected and normal). He said he could not provide me a tracking number until the package shipped, but he assured me he would send the tracking number to me on Monday via email. Here is what happened: 1. I did not receive the tracking number on Monday, so I had to return to the store on Tuesday to obtain it. 2. The clerk provided me the tracking number but informed me that it was UPS, NOT FedEx (despite our prior conversation and the fact that the FedEx box is checked ON MY CARBON COPY RECEIPT). 3. Since I had paid for a FedEx shipment, I asked the clerk what the difference in price was between FedEx and UPS for shipment to my destination. He REFUSED to tell me. 4. I asked for a refund of my shipping costs because they did not provide the service that I paid for. The clerk refused. I don't know how common it is for ParcelPlus to ignore instructions and ship according to the carrier that suits them. I will never use them again, though. read more

I went to the store for notary today but was refused by the man behind counter. I was confused and so disappointed. I understand a store may have right to say no to customers for many reasons, but the reason you gave to me is not acceptable. You said my documents were unclear and questionable, but these are the formal HR hiring paperwork written by a well-known university and used/using for thousands new hired teachers around the world. If you were willing to spend a few mins to read the documents, you may agree with me. You said "no" to me even though I said I could wait until you helped other person who came after me. Maybe, you don't care about the money or the money for notary is very small. However, if you choose to open a store, you have promised to do public service. Otherwise, you may give the opportunity to other people who want to help our community. I am using "you" instead "he". I really wanted "you", the story, to see my words. I go once a month. Last time I was there they wanted to charge me 2 dollars to put a piece of tape on the box. Seems very petty to me.

I've been a loyal customer of Parcel Plus since 2004. I've rented a box from them since then. I can't believe how little I pay them for taking so many packages for me. What a deal. Whenever we can, we buy shipping boxes from them and have them ship things for us. We had Pummi (the owner) notarize some important documents -- he is very knowledgeable about the notary process. Very, very nice people. We always go here first if we can. And we recommend them to a lot of people. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE! I went to Parcel Plus today with my coworker as she needed to get a will notarized and she asked me to be a witness for her. After the Notary (Sunni) checked our IDs and we signed the document, the Notary then refused to notarize it because my signature did not look the same on both pages! I told him I wasn't aware that this was a requirement. He retorted, "well, its just common sense." Well, its just common sense that if you get snarky with your customers, they will not return to you with their business. They may even write a bad review on Yelp. Further, sInce "it is not his job to execute vigilante justice" as my paralegal friend so brilliantly summed up the situation, I may just have to file a complant against this Notary with the State of Virginia. read more

I don't write reviews often but had a need to review this place. The customer service is the worst! We were greeted by a nice female employee; however, the older guy working there was sooo rude. We wanted to notarize a document and waited in line while the guy was helping another customer to ship a parcel. When it was our turn to go, he cut us off and assisted a customer who came AFTER us. He did not give an explanation nor apologized. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The worst customer service ever. I left the store with a bad taste in my mouth. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. First, they are dishonest. My first question for them was whether or not using FedEx at their location versus the FedEx store in Tysons on Route 7, were the rates exactly the same? I was told emphatically, yes, only to discover afterwards, that was not true. I checked with FedEx. Second, we paid $77.55 to FedEx overnight something critical for Saturday delivery, only to find it never made it. The guy in the store specifically said the recipient would receive it by noon, today, Saturday. Upon realizing that the envelope was never delivered today, Saturday, we looked up the tracking number and were completely puzzled when we read it was not scheduled for delivery. We then pulled out the receipt to find the guy at the store who filled out the paperwork, conversed with us, and charged us, never selected the box for Saturday delivery. It was imperative that are package arrived Saturday. By not arriving Saturday, we missed a critical time line and missed an opportunity to where we never would have needed to FedEx it to begin with. Bottom line - this store is incompetent and dishonest. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. I've thought this place overcharged me before, but couldn't prove it. Today, I tried to ship a parcel via UPS ground (the cheapest) that weighed 1/2 pound to a nearby state. They tried to charge me $21!!! Took it to the UPS Store and they charged me $9 for the same service. I will never take anything to these people again. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. I went in on a Saturday morning to mail a FedEx envelope. First thing I saw was a cigarette butt on the floor. The clerk (owner?) was rude and surly. There was a young man trying to ship a box to Mexico. He obviously did not know much English so the address, etc. was written out on paper. The clerk harassed him, saying "Speak in English." (I would note the clerk's English was barely understandable.) Then he yelled at the young man "I need a city!" Again, the clerk's English was almost unintelligible. I happen to speak Spanish so I translated and showed this obnoxious clerk the city. I was furious at his treatment of this young Mexican man and told the clerk, "You are being very unkind to this man. Remember that you were an immigrant once too, so treat him with some respect." The clerk said, "I understand" but I'm sure he'll do the same thing to the next customer. Now I wish I had asked to see how the charges for the box to Mexico were calculated. I'm pretty sure the clerk ripped him off. Never go to this store. It is dirty, disheveled and customers are treated rudely. Shame on this franchise. PS: I joined Yelp just to write this review. I just checked rates online with FedEx. My envelope should have cost approximately $25.93. I was charged $37.05. Even adding a service charge, this is excessive. Pretty sure I need to report this business to authorities. read more
