This week, my friend and I decided to check out this place for our weekly brunch. It was ok. Not awesome, but not bad, either. My friend had the patented (yes, PATENTED) protein pancakes, and they were HUGE. Some other people were passing our table to get seated and literally stopped to comment on the size of the pancakes. Anyway, they've got blueberries, granola, cinnamon, and slivered almonds mixed into the batter, so it's quite the pancake. I tried some and thought they were pretty good, but, like I said, not AWESOME. I was feeling like a skillet that day, so I got the ham, sausage, and mushroom skillet with two eggs sunny-side up. The potatoes came out a little bit on the hard side (as did my friend's side of potatoes he got), but it wasn't bad enough where I would be like, This is totally not edible. On the plus side, the potatoes are Idaho potatoes, so they tasted yummy. They would've been yummier, though, if they were fully cooked. Price-wise, this place is probably a dollar too expensive given that the food isn't AWESOME and given that I've been to other brunch places where it's cheaper. Waitresses know what they're doing, though, and the wait time to be seated wasn't bad at all. 15 minutes tops. We had to park a little ways from the restaurant, but it was brunch, and the place is in a strip mall with other businesses, so it was expected. Overall, my friend and I decided it was A-OK. read more

Delicious! Big portions easily shareable. Was craving some good eggs and I found this joint. Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, country fried chicken, and nice spot outside. No complaints... read more

This is without a doubt my favorite breakfast place In town. Would recommend to everyone

Always stop here after South Mountain hike and order the half skillet half protein pancakes-which are wonderful. Late winter and spring are great to sit on patio. Patio is dog friendly which is a plus. Service is always friendly. read more

The wait was not bad, but our food came to the table cold. They took it back, manager came to apologize, as we waited longer for the new breakfast. As soon as it came, it was cold again. Server apologized but casually, like they didn't really care. read more

Customer service was horrible today. First time since.... well my wife and i have been eating breakfast here almost every weekend for two years now. All good things come to an end. Update- as i was putting down a 27% tip because i didn't want the waitress to think our frustration was with her, another manager came up and asked what was the problem. i explained that it was really not a huge deal we asked for different glasses for our tea because the glasses that are on the table had sticky lip marks on them but the other manager told us no that those glasses are for bloody mary drinks and we may run out. But to no end to our conversation the owner came over and told us to leave without even asking what was going on. So the bottom line, i asked for different clean glasses and they told me no. And the owner was very rude. So sad that something we enjoyed so much has come to an end because of dirty glasses and a rude owner. read more

Let's start with what was good. Service was great; attentive, friendly and fast. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood. Drinks come two at a time, and coffee in a carafe, so you are never left waiting for a refill. To be honest, I expected a little more from the food, especially considering the amount of customers packed in on a Wednesday morning. I had the corned beef hash with eggs and hash browns. Nothing really stood out or had any specialness to it. The hash was mushy and tasted as though it had come from a can. The hash browns lacked crispness and salt. The eggs were poached well however. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but after having had breakfast here, I can honestly say I don't think I would come back. Painfully average. I would recommend you stick with the pancakes everyone seems to rave about. My guess is they are good. read more

One of my favorite breakfast place! I really like the New Yorker omelet!! The environment here is cute and the waitress is very friendly too!!! read more

I was in Tempe for one night before heading to Sedona. Ate here for Easter breakfast and it was great. They had a whole gluten free menu. I was so excited. Food was great, service was great. Enjoyed it immensely. read more

One of the best breakfast spots in all of the Phoenix area! You can't go wrong with the half-and-half skillet with a protein pancake! They are delicious! Huge portions read more

Food is great and so ad customer service. It's just pack and seating time is definitely a challenge.

My husband & I have lived a short distance from the original US Egg in Tempe for many years & have always enjoyed their breakfasts. We meet often with some of our ASU friends and the service and hospitality are top-notch. Their protein pancake is my "go to" and it is even better now that the blueberries are plump and juicy. One pancake makes two breakfasts for me. Their omelet choices are numerous and all are delish! It's wonderful to know that a small, family-owned restaurant has expanded all over the valley. Also, congratulations to the Tempe location on making the "Dean's List" from the Health Department! read more

Large portions and friendly staff. Veggie scramble had lots of fresh veggies. The morning cocktail options are plentiful, and the menu is huge. We didn't sit on the patio, but it looked like a fun time. read more

It was between this and iHop. This was my first time in Arizona and I must say this place is pretty good. The chicken was really tasty and the French toast was good as well. Only downside to this place was the water. Which for some reason is nasty compared to New York! But that's everywhere in Arizona. I would definitely recommend this spot it's good. read more

Good Food, Good Service. We came in on Monday late morning. Ordered biscuit and Gravy plate and the Veggie Skillet. Both enjoyed our meals. Coffee is Good. read more

We were on a 5 day vacation in Phoenix recently. We ate here 3 times!! I found this on Google. Happy I did. First day was a Saturday and they were PACKED. I ran in and was told less than a 10 minute wait. In 2 minutes our table was ready!! While we were waiting for our breakfast to arrive I was fascinated on the quickness of the bussers. They worked in a pair one emptied the table and sanitized it the 2nd one set with fresh dishes utensils and drink cups. Their efficiency was amazing. The food was excellent we both opted for fruit instead of hashbrowns. There was a small extra charge but worth it very much so... a compete plate of fresh fruit!! The host was so nice! He remembered us the 2nd time we came in. I'm just sorry I didn't get his name. Very tall nice man. Say hi to him from us!! read more

Don't underestimate the food portions! I order the skillets and the portion was humongous! Nice and friendly service. Wish they had a location in LA area. read more

Simply put this is a spectacular breakfast restaurant!!!! There is something for everyone on the menu. We were staycationing at Arizona Grand Resort and decided to drive out for breakfast. The Chicken Fried Steak was fresh and delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly (sunny side up). Definitely adding this to my go to along with Over Easy, The Crowned Egg, Egg N Joe, and Joe's Farm Grill! read more

Great food and service! We came in on a Saturday morning around 9am so busy time. It was a cool AZ day and we were willing to sit outside so we were seated immediately (3 of us). There was a wait for an inside table as it was full! Waitress was lovely had some good suggestions. This is a casual place and my husband and I liked that when you order a cup of coffee (it's bottomless) and they leave a carafe on the table. We ordered the meat lovers ID skillet which came with a full chicken fried steak on top! Also got the half and half (two protein pancakes and half a skillet). The protein pancakes had oatmeal and blueberries and were so good! Not heavy and dense like you'd expect. Skillet was great too! My daughter got a muffin (banana cinnamon) that was almost as big as her head! Muffin was moist and served warm. Would definitely eat here again!! read more

Down to earth home town feel, had the protein Pancakes with scrambled eggs, Delicious. And the service was spectacular. Will make this a regular breakfast spot read more

Great breakfast place. They had a variety of American and Spanish selections with some great specials. We brought a baby and they were extremely kind to her and very prompt in getting her food so that she didn't fuss. That is always appreciated. They have a really good scrambler but a few too many hash browns for me. Coming from the East Coast we eat home fries rather than hash browns usually so I am not a hash brown fan. Having said that my son-in-law got a meal with hash browns that were grilled and they were very tasty and crispy. The eggs were cooked just right and the vegetables were nice and tender but not mushy. The breads that they serve were good and the coffee was not as hot as I would like it but tasty anyway. They left a pitcher of decaf and a pitcher of caffeinated coffee on the table for us to enjoy and I always like that so you don't have to wait. Good place and will be back read more

I came here twice in a trip. The place is popular but run very efficiently; the Sunday brunch time we arrived, there was a decent line but we were seated within 10 min. Food is fantastic! Good options for diet-conscious eaters. The staff were really friendly and helpful. read more

Came to Phoenix for a wedding and to see my sister. On the way t rehearsal and we decided to stop in at this breakfast place and must I say, hands down to this place. Awesome food! Yhe only reason for this review is the biscuits and gravy. Im from Texas(where we KNOW bisquits and gravy) and ive been in Arizona for 2 years. HANDS DOWN the BEST bisquits and gravy in the state can be found in Tempe... RIGHT HERE. Phenominal, outstanding, SPOT ON! (Oh, and the service, atmosphere and everything else is good too!) read more

Mike and his crew are great at running a restaurant. Even for takeout only, the service is efficient and friendly - they really are grateful for the business. The food travels well and nothing is forgotten - every order has been complete. Thanks for offering "pantry" items too. We've come at least once weekly during the shutdown . . .and look forward to coming back in when you're ready. read more

This is a consistently delightful and delicious restaurant! The protein pancake and waffle are my favorites. Great staff and a fun atmosphere. Adam is especially nice and seems to keep an extra eye on all of the customers. Great guy! Love this place. read more

Goodness gracious I love their protein cakes and garden veggie omelet. It's really quite embarrassing to hit this place thinking I'll be eating healthy and eat way past full because it's so yummy. The only thing that I do not like here is their coffee. No flavor. Stick with water or the over-priced juice. read more

Always love this place because of the many food options, the quality of the food, and especially the service. Also, Gebran (the owner of the Scottsdale location) and his brother have running a restaurant down to a science. It is like a well oiled machine. The way that they run the servers, turn the tables, have prompt service, and leave pitchers of beverages at your table so you don't have to wait is amazing. Very broad menu options to satisfy everyone. Tons of parking. Love this place. read more

This is my favorite place for breakfast. The staff are so friendly, the food is freakin delicious, the restaurant is clean and the prices are reasonable. I think this place checks all the boxes. If you aren't getting the protein cakes, you missed the whole point of going out to eat here. read more

Very good home town feel to it. When you walk into this restaurant 1st thing you see is smiling faces from the waiters and waitresses. I instantly felt like I was going to be taking care of. Unfortunately they don't do military discount but the place is clean, the food looks good and it's a great location. Awesome for family outings read more

So here we go, completely unbiased (my girlfriends a manager at this location). What's for breakfast? Pancakes? Eggs? Sandwiches? Burgers? Christ do you want a steak?! They got it. This place has a very bubbly atmosphere since all the servers are younger girls. This location in particular gets very busy, so be careful with what time you decide to adventure out to the United States of egg. The food may seem pricey, especially when the food isn't absolutely amazing (organic, open range, grass fed blah blah) but the portion sizes are unreal. Good look getting home after you slip into that food coma you breakfast goers:) read more

Service is fast, friendly and attentive. Food is slightly better than average at the price point. I had the patty melt and fries. Patty melt sandwich is small, flavor is ok. Fries were ok. Servers all had smiles on their faces. Unless breakfast is better there would be nothing swaying me to choose this place over First Watch or other competition. read more

Food was mediocre. I got the eggs Benedict with potatoes, and, Meh! If your looking for low quality diner food, this is your place. The silverware and glasses didn't even look that clean. I have found other places to serve much better breakfast dishes. I personally won't be returning and wasting my money. I gave an extra star simply because the server provided good service. read more

I like eating breakfast out. And, I travel for business. So, I enjoy the neighborhood Mom & Pop's to get a little local feel. Now US Egg is a chain, but it has a welcoming Mom & Pop feel. The menu is extensive and well presented. I've eaten at the Tempe location a couple of times in the past week. Each time my server was attentive and ready... the Manager also came by to check me. Food was very good and plentiful. I especially liked the protein pancakes... but would prefer the larger west coast blueberries rather than the Maine small ones. read more

Wow such a gem. The checkin was quick, out server was friendly and helpful. Being our first time to eat at US Egg. Our server pointed out the popular items on the menu, which was much appreciated. We ordered the protein pancake, chicken fried steak, and the chicken and waffles. We all enjoyed our breakfast and would recommend to everyone. read more

Well I can honestly say I was not impressed. Our server was polite but not friendly. The whites of my eggs were not done so they took them back but I did not get then back until we were ready to leave. They discounted our ticket a couple of dollars but I would rather have had my eggs. My toast was mushy and barely buttered and all they have is Smuckers grape and strawberry jelly. It was our first time there and I expected better especially since the prices are a bit higher. read more

I've been coming here for years and I absolutely love the food. I order from here at least 2-3 times a week and I never get tired of it. The protein pancakes are ADDICTING! I love the service they provide here, they make you feel very welcome and take pride in their outstanding service. The food is just as amazing there as it is to go. Crystal and Adam handle my order almost every time and I have yet to complain. The girls up front are very attentive and always have a welcoming smile. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right! Thank you for being there for me and all of us, US EGG! read more

Well it is 12-12-12, a wonderful Day I think!!! Got up this morning and the coffee maker was not working. So we came here for breakfast. We have not been in a while so thought it is close we will go. Not too busy, and they have a very nice accomodating staff. We sat inside because, it is in the 50's this week(in the morning). Food is good , coffee is as well. You have to ask for Butter or else they will give you margarine. The water is tap water, so a lot of lemon will kill the taste of bitter and bad. Food is good I just wish they went more natural. Even all the jams are a bit gross. They cut corners here on certain things which really takes away from it all. Otherwise I would give them a 5 star. read more

So good. Oh so good. So good for a hangover, or, so good for brunch with mom. Quaint little establishment with cute little waitresses bouncing around in tiny little shorts. My coffee cup was never empty, and even as I was leaving, my waitress was filling up my to-go coffee cup.. she gets my vote for the most wonderful person of the day. Their breakfast menu was pretty excellent, I got the Western scramble with mushrooms and it was cheesy delicious excellence. Very clean, and lots of seating.. I had read about the lines, but we got right in and right out. This place is exactly like The Good Egg.. but not as many senior citizens or bonnet wearing geese used as the decor.. I am a fan. read more

I walked into US Egg the day after Ironman Arizona. OK...I hobbled in and then gingerly, very gingerly sat down. I instantly asked for a hot chocolate with EXTRA whip cream and my waitress did not disappoint. I was given a tower of sugary goodness, which I ate a lot faster than my run pace. I ate some combination of eggs, meat, and potatoes. In my post-race fog, I honestly don't remember what it was called, but I know that (a) I liked it and (b) I wasn't hungry when I was done, which is quite an accomplishment the day after racing 140.6 miles. If I ever return to AZ, I would definitely go again! read more
