Now that I've been here a couple of times it's a good enough sample to write a review about. This one of at least two locations and I like the accessibility of walking up and ordering. There's also an adjacent dining area, which I utilized on the first visit. I bought a croissant sandwich and really enjoyed it. Good price and good ingredients. I like how they also include a glazed donut hole or two with every order. The recent second visit had me trying a couple donuts. One of my favorite types is glazed blueberry cake. Excellent here BTW. The strawberry puff also appealed visually, and was pretty tasty, especially the fresh strawberries. On both visits the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Perhaps I'll try the coffee, next? And definitely another sandwich.

First of all, the service there is SO good. The ladies are so so sweet and quick and attentive. The donuts are fresh but the SANDWICHES...ooooofffff 10/10!! And they're hefty. This place is so all around so good.

I got the turkey croissant sandwich and it is incredible!

Food amazing. The sandwich is SO GOOD. The service here is great and they move efficiently. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

I love when I have time to stop by here for breakfast before I start my day. They have a wide range of delicious donuts and bagels to offer up; my go-to is a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The service is efficient and always friendly. If I can, I let myself stop by to eat in the relatively quiet interior. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bite to eat before work. It's always a pleasure every time I go back.

I've been coming here since they opened and idk why I haven't written a review about i. Each time I pass by riverside in the am since I don't like in riverside anymore but when i frequent i come here. I always get there number 11 breakfast with extra cheese (it's the sausage egg and cheese croissant). I swear they have the best croissants. But if I don't do the number 11 I get a plain croissant to ant type of croissant. Everything is given out fast and very delicious!! I always tend to see the 2 same ladies (I forgot their names cuz I don't come here as often anymore) here and they have always been so nice!! Even tho it's more like a grab and go they are always so helpful! They also offer fresh juices and milk teas and smoothies!! I usually get their milk teas and I work at a boba shop and I think their milk tea is good!! It does have a vanilla taste to it so maybe that's why cuz I do like my vanilla so maybe a bit bias. But also the price is pretty good tbh!! There is 3 booth in the inside and a few tables and chairs outside. So they do have seating but again I mainly just go to grab and go!! Overall I love this donut shop and their croissant!! I'm sad I don't have this closer to where I live but it's usually always a must for me (not exaggerating)

Good..... Most of the time. Like almost every donut shop out there now days they are comfortable slipping a day old donut in your bag, you get home, and the maple frosting is all dried out, waxy, and the donut is like a 2x4. I still go but I wish shops would just either mark the day olds as day olds (like an ethical shop) or just toss them. How much can it cost to not let crappy donuts get out in the world. This review could have been a 5 star if they did not try to save $0.35. Shame on them. IF they're good though they're good. Please stop selling us day old donuts.

I moved to downtown Riverside three years ago, and U.S. Donuts has been my go-to spot ever since for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The service is always amazing, and the quality never disappoints. While I live closer to three other donut shops (and have tried them all), I always find myself coming back to U.S. Donuts. If you're in the downtown Riverside area, it's definitely worth the extra five-minute drive. As I'm typing this, I'm happily waiting for my jalapeño cheddar bacon and cheese bagel--just another reason why this place is the best! read more

My #1 hole in the wall spot in Riverside! If you haven't tried their coffee or mango juice, it is a MUST. My go to is always the #5 sausage and egg breakfast bagel with their caramel coffee that has an authentic Vietnamese coffee base. With every order, they give you a free donut hole which is always a great tiny surprise (such kind and fast service). A must recommend small business I would recommend to anyone who is in the area or just passing by for a quick bite! read more

I highly recommend this place for your donut needs! Not only are the donuts fresh and delicious, but there's sooo much variety to choose from! I tried just your regular chocolate bar to taste test for a gathering I was having and it did not disappoint. So I returned the next day and picked up two dozen donuts and the owner recognized me right away! If the donuts weren't enough to return, the customer service is definitely a great reason! I loved my buying experience from this new local donut shop! This is absolutely not my last visit! read more

the donuts are AMAZING!! 10/10! my review is more about the customer service I received. the window states that there was a card fee, so I was prepared to pay in the change I had. I got 3 donuts and some donut holes, and when I went to give her my coins she flat out refused to take them, and I had to pay with card, which I wasn't prepared to do. read more

One of the best breakfast spots. Love taking my parents when they are in town. Just a quick minute walk from Condron Coffee on the same block. Many folks like to get coffee at Condron then walk over to this place for donuts. read more

Great selection of donuts and staff is very friendly . The location has ample parking and the store is easy to access. The croissants are really good. I come by during my lunch breaks whenever I need food. They make the items and have them out very quickly, which is really great because I have an half hour lunch break. There isn't really much time for me to eat before I clock back into work. It's located on a quiet street, turned away from the traffic, and there's actually plenty of parking spaces in the area. It has a rather retro/homey feel. Sandwiches here are great btw~ I think I've tried almost everything under croissants since I liked those the most xD read more

Was visiting family in Riverside and stopped here. This place seems like a hidden gem! We got half a dozen donuts + a muffin. Donuts were huge, fluffy (not too dense), and the flavors were great. The donuts, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are out of this world delicious here and the prices just can't be beat just look at the menu !! They're right next to the plaza off Central in Riverside. My favorite is the egg cheese, tomato and onion on a croissant. My husband loves his on the bagel and the lunch sandwich. Saw the great reviews and thought we'd give US Donuts a try. They did not disappoint! The donuts we got were fresh and light. Not heavy or greasy. This is a solid, upscale coffee shop in Downtown Riverside. I've been to their other locations as…read morewell, but mostly visit Bakehouse and Downtown. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

My experience at this donut shop was highly negative. From the start, I felt rushed to make a selection, even though I had planned to purchase several items. Before I could even order, I sensed I was being racially profiled. The employee then proceeded to aggressively upsell me on numerous items, ultimately overcharging me. When I requested a detailed receipt to verify the charges, the employee provided only a vague copy. It was then clear I had been overcharged, despite not intending to spend that much. I ordered a coffee drink, but it was unpalatable. When I politely asked the employee to adjust it, she responded argumentatively, prompting me to simply leave. The entire interaction was highly unprofessional. I will not be going here again, and will absolutely let everyone I know about my experience of being racially profiled, overcharged, and not treated like a paying customer. read more

I recently visited this shop and was extremely disappointed. First off, the donuts were stale and tasted like they'd been sitting out all day. The variety was lacking--only a few basic flavors, and even those were bland. The texture was dry, and there was none of that fresh, fluffy goodness you expect from a donut. The customer service was just as bad. The staff seemed disinterested and took forever to take my order, even though the store wasn't busy. To top it off, the place was not clean. Tables were sticky, and there were crumbs everywhere, which didn't make me feel great about eating anything there. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I definitely won't be coming back. There are far better donut shops in town that actually care about quality and service. Save your time and money and skip this place! read more

Stopped by today and had 3 of their specialty donuts and they were as good as they looked. Chocolate football bar was $2.50, pink flower and red flower sprinkle glaze donut was $3.95 each. I also had their Thai iced tea to finish it all up which was BOMB! as usual. Service was quick and shop is always very clean when I come by to get my fix.
