From the beginning, this move was stressful and poorly handled. My scheduled arrival time changed from 12 PM to more than an hour later, despite this being an emergency move with an added fee for expedited service. Given the extra cost, I expected better communication and timeliness. When the movers arrived, the main gentleman (Ronald Calle, who I later learned was the owner) appeared irritated and unfriendly from the start. Once I explained the job, Ronald became visibly frustrated while the female worker handled most of the communication and initial work. Midway through the move, he told me he did not speak English and directed all questions to her. Overall, the interaction felt rushed, tense, and unprofessional. Because I was already under a strict deadline to vacate my apartment and return keys before the leasing office closed, the delayed arrival, slow start, and communication barriers created unnecessary stress and caused me to miss my deadline and incur additional costs. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience, and I would not use this company again. So, I am submitting this to warn others... since I regret not listening to others reviews. read more

I hired U Relax Moving & Hauling for two moves totaling over $5,000. The owner Ronaldo offered to store my belongings in a climate controlled storage unit for $250 a month while I relocated. What I discovered months later is that my belongings were never in a storage unit... they were in the back of an untagged moving truck with a broken rear window, exposed to months of temperature extremes. When I arrived to retrieve a few boxes, nothing was organized or properly labeled despite being a full pack and move service. My grandmother's grandfather clock, Pottery Barn furniture, a NordicTrack treadmill, and irreplaceable items including my son's childhood artwork were thrown together in a deteriorating trailer. When I asked for the storage address in Baltimore, he refused to provide it. When I asked him to deliver my belongings to Florida as promised, he refused. His response when asked to confirm receipt of a formal notice was 'I'm not going to off load again.' I have everything documented in photos and text messages. I am currently pursuing action through the Maryland Attorney General and the FMCSA. Do not trust this company with your belongings. This company also offered a "move out clean" when they packed and moved my items. The house was filthy. I had to track down the owner, who is nearly impossible to get in touch with...and have him send the cleaners back. Horrific experience. Be sure to read Yelp reviews. This was the absolute worst moving company! They damaged many of my items. They never covered furniture and had dirt and footprints all over my white couch. They dropped the drawers out of my kitchen table while carrying it and laughed. They left several items in pieces of furniture behind This company costed me thousands of dollars. Run! Do not work with this mover. I'm a Registered nurse and federal employee. Three weeks before my move, the owner, Mr. R. Rodriguez arrived to provide free estimate. Never saw a written estimate until the night before the move at 6:00pm. The written estimate was $550 dollars higher than verbal estimate! I was able to gather enough help from friends and family to rent a U-Haul to truck and cancel this "Mover". When I cancelled, Mr. Rodriguez, the owner, freaked out and started calling and texting me all evening. The owner even called me at 0130 in the middle of the night!! He eventually dropped the price.I wonder how U Relax stays in business?!? I read the Yelp reviews on U Relax from military professionals that said U Relax was late, unprofessional and damaged property. After much pestering from U Relax, I told him he was still cancelled. How could I trust him at this point to safely move my furniture and family heirlooms? Zero stars. Zero Quality, zero service. I Reported this joker to Attorney General of MD and in process of hiring an attorney. Next time, I will get three movers estimates and choose the best one. read more

Just the worst moving experience ever! Stay away!! Trust me....I've moved 5 times in the last 15 years - inter-state and locally. You've been forewarned. Never, ever hire this company for you move. They are horrific, completely inexperienced and no one speaks English. That's truly unacceptable. I'm 5'2" and I think I was taller than the 3 movers assigned to me. Very unprofessional, avoid at all costs! I am military and living on a military base. Ronaldo and I agreed on a flat rate after a video walkthrough with a 10% up front deposit. I asked if they were able to handle military moves, they said it wouldn't be a problem. We agreed the old home would be empty by 1400 on day 2 so I could hand the keys off to Corvias. First day, one of Ronaldo's crew did not bring two forms of ID, so I have to sponsor him on and off base all day. He also sent a 14-year-old girl to work - which is illegal - but told me she could just sit off to the side and that she wouldn't work. At my insistence, she ended up being dropped at the Dunkin outside base, where I had to call to tell Ronaldo to make sure she was picked up. So now down to 2 workers instead of 3, I call Ronaldo to have an extra body for day two, where he argues with me but ultimately agrees. The following day he sends 5 workers, and they have the house mostly emptied by 1300. They left a few things behind, and when I asked if they could help remove all of the leftover garbage (cardboard, tape, screws, etc.) they refused, saying that's not part of the moving. No problem, I have extra time so I can take care of it. Once the can is packed and the crew takes a quick lunch, Ronaldo calls me while to tell me he needs the rest of the money for the move IMMEDIATELY, or else they won't finish the job. He asks me how he can trust that I will pay him, despite signing a contract for the work, and complains that I've inconvenienced him by asking for more people and being a pain about things on day one. I refused to pay him, and met with the crew at the new home, where they thankfully agreed to take care of the unloading while Ronaldo and I work things out. Eventually he ghosts me and we get the work done, at which point I pay him like I promised and they leave. To top it all off, he asked to be paid via Zelle, Venmo, and Cashapp (each has daily transaction limits), and said I was "harrassing" him for sending him receipts and asking to confirm that he received the money. Come to find out over the following days, there was also damage to many of the larger furniture pieces. The number of red flags was beyond belief, I will be reporting them to the BBB and pushing for a blacklist with Fort Meade to save other service members the trouble. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Very unprofessional. Did not show up on time. Left 1 hour early day 1, said they were done. Packing day was already stressful, moving day was worse. Spent hours waiting and time and price kept changing. Two of the four guys disappeared and 2 remained with 16 year old to load and unload. No certificate of insurance provided, items already packed taken out to be repacked in smaller boxes labeled with other people's names. Had boxes and tires that did not belong to us. Dining table not dissablembled fully loaded. Could not tell me items on inventory. List goes on and on. They refused to deliver last remaining. Beware. Absolutely the worst. Over Priced and Unprofessional. You pay for over priced labor and for them to rent truck(s), with a markup. They unpack and repack to increase price for labor and materials. Laboreres are haphazard and obviously don't care. They kept dropping our boxes.
