I was looking to see where to have dinner with my family. I came across this on Google maps. This restaurant certainly didn't disappoint! Service was excellent. We ordered beef pad thai, yaki udon with chicken, Japanese style curry with chicken and Taiwanese style crispy chicken. Came for lunch during the week and it was pretty quiet. I tried the Shoyu ramen with pork belly and a house milk bubble tea. Food came fairly quickly. The ramen was OK, but hit the spot on a cold day. Several things weren't quite on par, like the cold and slightly overcooked onsen egg, the pork belly was not quite tender and the broth tasted a little heavy on the soy sauce flavor. It was still decent for this area. The house bubble tea was black tea with milk powder. The only complaint was the cheap plastic cup that felt like it was dissolving into my hot drink. Whlist visiting Sandusky Ohio I really enjoyed the following restaurant. I have to say that there was ample parking in front of the establishment with accessible parking initially in front of the restaurant. When you enter your greeted by a very friendly host who places you at a table or you have the option to order carry out. We were sat in a beautiful corner seat and the menus were laid out in front of us. The restaurant was immaculately cleaned with no noticeable stains or trash visible. We were automatically given water and cutlery. I opted for a dish that was made vegan with the addition of tofu. I really enjoyed that they offered vegan options on the menu. I asked about their fruit teas and was grateful that they had a vegan fruit tea and I opted for the passion fruit. Decided to try this again as we were back at our con. This time we tried the fried rice and rice bowls. My fried rice was fine. They liked their rice bowls. They had soy sauce and other condiments on the table. My rice did benefit from some soy sauce. Good portions. Server was very attentive, place was clean, and good cook times. My daughter and I were in Sandusky for an event and popped into U Ramen after looking for options on Yelp. The restaurant was fun and clean, and the servers were super attentive (even checking if I needed something when I broke out in song with the background music). Both of us got the Tonkatsu Ramen with pork belly. I couldn't make myself stop until mine was done, but my daughter had to call it quits part way. The broth was all you hope for in ramen, and you never had to search for the toppings or noodles. We also had an amazing side of tempura shrimp and boba teas. This place quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. If you want a quick meal that tastes like it was made with love this a top choice. The pork here is moist, tender, and sweet. I love getting it in the Ramen, fried rice, or the stir fry noodles. The Bao Buns are the softest and melt in your mouth. The crab ragoon was right on par with the rest of the menu. I was not let down by the fried pork potsticker either. The fruit teas went great with the meal and are even great just to have as a nice drink.
