Rented a truck here last month to move into my new house. It was really easy and took hardly any time. People working there were professional. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when I went to return it they closed earlier than their closing sign indicated and I had to go through a lengthy process of returning it myself. Taking pictures of everything was a pain but glad I didn't have to come back the next day. I would definitely rent from here again if I needed to. read more

I had reserved a truck in advance to be here and it wasn't. They checked all stores in the area and told me there was none around. They stuck me in a smaller truck that won't fit all my stuff. I figured let me take this I'm on a time crunch ill come get a second truck. I drive down the street called another location and they had the truck! so I bring this one back to switch to the other store and they give me no paperwork, I call in to confirm I won't be charged because I did not use the truck and some lady was rude and hung up on me. read more

Affordable and convenient. What more could you ask for from a truck rental company? They have a variety of truck and trailer sizes to suit all of your hauling needs. The price is very fair and they offer the use of moving blankets for a mere $5 extra - go for the gold and get these because they will save your furniture from getting scratched the eff up! Pick up and drop off was easy peasy. They do a quick visual inspection to make sure everything is good to go and then you're on your way. The truck itself was in good condition although the cab did smell like cigarette smoke and it didn't have a lot of power which made for some scary highway merging. All in all, I'd definitely recommend U-haul if you're looking to move a lot of stuff for not a lot of money. read more

Unauthorized charges to my credit card. Owner said insurance did not cover scratch to the roof of truck because that was 'negligence'. This is after you are forced to buy their insurance or deposit the entire value of the truck. So 20 cross town move cost about 200. Owner a rude jerk also. Felt sorry for the decent employees. Too busy to complain to UHaul at the time. Really felt hosed. Never using UHaul again. read more

I bought moving supplies online and opted to pick up in store. The guy at the desk was new and asked if I would mind waiting while he contacted his manager because he'd never had an in store pickup before. Of course I didn't mind and I waited a little while. Eventually he told me that I just had to pick the stuff I purchased from the shelves. I thought the pickup option would mean that my order would be ready to load into my car. I had to pull up my online receipt to figure out exactly which items I paid for. The guy went back behind the counter and played on his phone while I did this. Didn't help me grab or find anything. Didn't even check my receipt. I carried most of the stuff back to the car myself before he offered to help with the last load. Super disappointed. I understand if he was new and unfamiliar with the system, I didn't mind waiting while he figured it out. I do mind not being helped and basically doing the job myself while he played on his phone. read more

I called the Pleasant Street location and inquired about a 2 5/16 heavy duty trailer ball and heavy duty solid steel hitch. The phone attendant said she would see if they had it in stock and to give her some time as she was not sure, I said she can take all the time she needed. She came back and said she had both in stock. I drove down and when I approach her she said she would get the GM Joe because she was not sure if she had the right items? Not making much sense since she told me she had it in stock. When the GM came to help me he started fishing through the trailer ball and hitch rack not sure of what they had. The only 2 5/15 ball he had was the smaller 1" tread and he was willing to sell me the 1" tread with the 1 1/4" hole solid steel hitch! This is dangerous as it gets loose when it moves around in the hole. When I started questioning his ill trained employee which is his fault as a manger and then his lack of knowledge of his inventory he took a stand-offish stance and a rude and cocky demeanor. Uhaul needs to be more careful when promoting within or hiring General Managers to sell to the public. This store needs better trained employees. This was a needless waste of time and could have been avoided, but people make mistakes and that's o.k. but don't take a rude position when customers are rightfully unhappy! read more

This UHaul location is the worst ever. Rented a truck over the internet, they had the audacity to change the hours that I had requested! Then called and told me that the manager doesn't let them rent trucks for a long period at the end of the month...pure BullS***t. When I returned the truck, another customer was waiting for the truck. They cut short my hours so they could make double the money. "They double dip". Truck was filthy. Biggest nightmare! read more
