I've rented a unit here for many years and the staff is attentive to every detail. One time I had a friend going through a very rough time who needed to move her stuff like NOW. Since I already had an access code we rented a truck, found an empty unit and moved in after business hours. When I called to explain the situation and activity the next day, the staff could not have been more understanding or accommodating. A few days ago I emptied anything of value in anticipation of hiring someone to clean out the remaining junk. Because there was nothing of value in the unit I simply didn't put the padlock back on. Do you know they called me to tell me during their normal property check they noticed the lock was gone and asked if everything was ok. Imagine? I had no idea they were that "eyes and hands on" there. As I explained my intent to clear out the unit, the young lady on the phone could not have been pleasant or helpful. Yea, if you're in the area looking for some place to store items, look no further than Assonet Mini Storage. First class people running a first class operation. The day I moved in I was told that the only lock I could use was a uhaul round lock and I was forced to buy a second lock. If thats the case maybe that information should be made available upfront. The man who processed my truck and storage unit rental was in ZERO hurry and the process took about 45 minutes! Now today, 1 month later Im finding out that the auto-pay I signed for and have the signed contract for was never processed! Oh and the online chat representitve was RUDE and disconnected the chat prior to finishing the conversation, her name was Dolores... I would have taken my business elsewhere had I known How crappy this experience would be!!!! Oh and no discount for our vets, never never never again!

We picked up the vehicle without any issues. They had put a few furniture protectors and such in the van, because it was raining, and let us know that if we didn't use them we wouldn't be charged. My dad and boyfriend were doing the driving, so they came with me and they made a copy of my dad's driver's license. I had rented it until 5pm, but as 5pm was approaching I called to ask if it would be okay to return it a little late. No problem. We returned it around 7pm, no hassle at all.
