I must admit I live very close by and had no idea it existed. Hidden in a run down shopping center behind a tire shop. Upon entering the business is very sparse but clean. The lady working was helpful and happy. She even asked if we had a picture of our shipping label for it had my tracking info. She also stated FedEx driver arrives late in the day so our package would be on its way shortly. Sure enough, I received an email saying it was indeed on its way. This was an easy, pleasant experience, and I will definitely be using them again for my FedEx or DHL needs.

Positive: Property well maintained…read more Good Security Negative: Bait and switch--low rates/incentives to begin rental. They give you about a year to get settled-- move in with low rent. Then..... get ready for rental increases of 10+ % a year. I was in a climate-controlled larger unit--- their rental increases far exceeded any utility rate and general CPI increases. I think they are out of Newport Beach, CA---and their rent increases are egregious. I know ownership needs to make a profit--a good rate of return on investment---but at some point businesses become pigs. I'd shop around before entering into any agreement with them--or plan to move out after a year or so. It's a hassle to move-out--they know ---it so on larger units they nail you. Not good.

I love U-Haul. I called them when I needed to make a apartment move and because there was lots of…read moretime we had moved most of the small stuff ourselves in an SUV. I called U-Haul and they found a couple guys that brought their own packing materials and I picked up a trailer. The guy loaded it up, followed me to the new apartment, put everything in and unpacked it and I think it all was done. I wanna say in under two hours. Great rates and great service. On they went the additional mile when they noticed that my trailer ball arm could be reversed to give the ball a little bit extra height, which would keep the chains from dragging in the front. One of the U-Haul guys grabbed it, took it back and changed it over is just part of the service. Where else can you get that kind of service?

Our experience started in June of 2024 when after 2-years of renting trucks from Penske we thought…read moreit would be in our best interest to purchase one. We rent trucks and require a semi-about 4x per month. Here is a vehicle price breakdown for factual affect; The total price=$53,299 (taxes, fees, etc); we gave a deposit of $11,000-$500 (Title fee); which means our principal payment from the lender (we thought was Premier) would be $41,799. And on the BOS from Penske this is the price breakdown. But the contract changed when Penske got LEAF involved without our knowledge or consent. Now LEAF is stating that our contract buyout would be $51,330.72 (because we have made 4 payments.) These are the facts every buyer should be aware of and concerned by. How we got here is outlined below and for those of you say their idiots, or this is your fault-I hear you. This entire scenario has tested me and my husband beyond measure, and we should have walked away after being transferred to 4 people all working for the same company, but we really needed this truck. Now I am just hoping to stop some entrepreneur or excited business owner from ever working with or financing with Penske, Premier Financing or LEAF Capital. From June 20, 2024-July 15th, 2024; we were under the assumption that the financing for the vehicle would be thru Premier Financing who holds the vehicle certificate. This was the entity that requested all our bank documents, insurance information and all the applicable statements needed to finance a truck. We even signed the Vehicle BOS #079612....... on July 10th, 2024. Then for some unrequested reason and without explanation we received an email from LEAF on July 16th, 2024. We did not choose LEAF capital; in fact, we were never consulted or informed there would be a transfer so we (apparently like idiots) assumed the Vehicle BOS from Penske would carry thru to LEAF. LEAF does not have a prepayment penalty clause in their contract, but they do state in section 2 under Payments that the 'Borrower may not prepay any portion of this Agreement. None of this was ever explained to us by anyone at Premier Financing or at LEAF. We signed the BOS and agreement with Premier Financing on 07/10/2024 that has no conditions about a prepayment penalty but now LEAF is saying even if you want to pay if off early you will be subject to the interest of the additional 54-months.
