I originally requested service last Thursday. I was told there would be an on site estimate, but…read morethe person never showed up. I called again, trying to get ahead of a storm, and was told that they would call me back. They did not. Because I really needed to have this hauled away... I tried one last time. Girl was very nice and professional. Was told the only way to get a quote was an onsite estimate. Which I was okay with. The truck driver called me from the road saying that Framingham was too far from where he was and that I should go elsewhere. 20 minutes later, the man called me back and said that he thought I was in Hull, and he'd be at my house in 40 minutes. (He was only 20 minutes away.). He asked me to verbally explain everything that he had to pick up and then gave me a quote over the phone!! Which negates everything the scheduler said. When he got here, he asked ME for help loading a sleeper sofa onto the truck. I'm 5'4" , have a bad back, and almost 60 years old! I'd expected a team of people considering that three times I'd told the company there was a large sofa to move. The gent then went on to complain about his company making $30,000 a day and his pay check, and how tips are how he REALLY gets paid, etc. At that point I walked away, I didn't pay almost $500 to 1) dollars the work myself, 2) not have agreed process followed, 3) hear about how the company I trusted in my home was cheaping on employees. Junk.com corporate part was fine and did what they said they'd do. The person they sent out... needs to give the same experience and have a better professionalism.

I just hired him again to haul out part of the room itself that had to be torn apart and again he came through quickly and handled the job terrifically. I have found that it is not uncommon for service people to complain during a job but these guys did not, which was refreshing; instead, one man even said, "We're getting' there!" The job cost a bit more than I would have liked but with two trips of hauling and the professionalism and courtesy I experienced, I feel I paid a bit more for a quality job well-done and in the end, I am ok with that.
