He came out quickly to take a look and gave me a quote at an amazing price considering all the gear I'd have to buy to even begin to think about doing it myself and never mind the time involved. He made sure I understood that he doesn't haul the yard waste away, but will bag it up for pickup with your regular service. We agreed to have him come out the day before my yard pickup so nothing would sit rotting for long. He arrived in the morning and worked hard until the heavy rain forced him to call it a day, but he was back the next morning to finish up and even re-bag the ones that got wet the previous day so the garbage pickup takes them. I texted explaining all of this and the owner apologized. He comped me this mow, but explained that it would be hard to have them back moving forward if they can't understand the difference between the lawn and a flowerbed. The owner then said he would reimburse me for supplies for the garden to fix it. I suggested one more free mow instead so we weren't just exchanging money back and forth. The owner then said he thought we had a deal and I changed it so we shouldn't work together anymore. So hire these people at your own risk.
