From initial contact until job completion Bruce (owner) was a complete pleasure to deal with. Easy to communicate with, Bruce made quick contact with me after my inquiry, and offered to come review my job site to provide a thoughtful, fair and very detailed estimate. Upon approving the estimate, Bruce scheduled work to begin almost immediately, and then communicated with me prior to his arrival with his ETA which I really appreciated. Bruce's son Gavin is working as an apprentice with him and he is a great young man to represent the company also. Gavin is very clean cut, articulate and hard working. Bruce is lucky to have such a fine young man working with, and learning from him. They got to work immediately and even with some additions and modifications, finished on time. Bruce and Gavin installed numerous outlets, lights inside and out along with a new 30A sub panel for my new Tuff Shed. The wiring and boxes were installed neatly and efficiently. They cleaned up perfectly and put everything back in its place after they were through - once again - very professional! It's actually hard to say what I liked more about Bruce, Gavin and Tymeson Electric - their professionalism, expertise and experience, perfectionism, fair pricing, the fact Bruce is a Veteran, or just his great integrity and personality. There is no need to wonder why there are so many five star reviews - it's only because he deserves them. They did a job better than I had hoped and with complete professionalism. Bruce is welcome to use me as a referral any time! read more

I initially contacted Bruce because of a failed attempt to self-install smart switches. Since I also wanted recessed lighting I attempted to kill 2 birds with one stone. Bruce is a veteran, and he was able to fit me in before I left on a trip. The estimate was easy and the job was scheduled efficiently. Long story short, Bruce quickly fixed my smart switches and, along with his son, installed and wired 4 new recessed lights. Job was done quickly and efficiently, and he left my house cleaner than he entered it. Price was spot-on to the estimate and turned out exactly as he described it. read more

An update: we've had Bruce come out for a few more projects. He is consistent through and through. Feels good to know when an electrician leaves that the work was done professionally and you can rely on their hard work. Very fair pricing. Thanks for restoring some trust in skilled tradesmen. read more

Bruce came over to quote us quickly and gave advice on where to put the plug for our new hot tub. Once it is installed I will update this. -------------- So the plug was installed on the day that we set up and Bruce came by with his son to do the work. They were very helpful and I ran the wire in the attic prior to this to save me some money on the project. Bruce was very accommodating and worked with me on how to save in the whole cost to make it worth while for both is us. I would definitely recommend this company for any project as they are efficient and adaptable. read more

Needed four exterior outlets installed. Through Yelp found Tymeson Electric LLC. Contacted and Bruce the owner and electrician came out very next day gave bid. I agreed on price and Bruce and his son installed the four outlets. Being a old former store manger for large department stores and dealing with contractors , tradesmen , delivery , service and installers I must say Bruce and his son performed a smooth no problem installation along with clean up when the job was done. Great service , I would highly recommend using this company. Any additional electric I need done I will use them again. 5 ***** rating for sure. Gary Christian Goodyear Az. read more

I'll do everyone a favor with this review. If you have an electrical issue, don't go out and get quotes from anyone. Bruce and his guys are the absolute best! They did such a wonderful job at my house. They are professional and great at what they do. I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

This company is owned by a hard working Marine Veteran, which should be enough to earn your business. But on top of that, he knows what he is doing, is super fair with what he charges, and is a genuinely personable guy. He diagnosed my electrical problem quickly, got the parts, and fixed it right. Don't mess with electrical issues, make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing, and while you're at it, hire one of the few, the proud, the Marine! read more

I wanted to get a fan installed in my office and asked a few electricians for quotes. Bruce replies immediately and asked a few questions about the job. I didn't have an existing fixture on the ceiling so it was a new install. Bruce came out and looked at the job and gave me a quote which was much better than three other quotes I received. I hired him and the job was scheduled for today 5/28. Bruce confirmed everything in advance and gave me a start time. He was in time, very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. He actually went above and beyond by doing some additional things in the wiring in the attic that required him to go to Home Depot for a junction box to replace the small one already in place. This at no extra charge. I also had him install a remote control in the master bedroom which he also did at no extra charge. Bottom line I'm extremely happy with the work he did. See my pics below. I strongly recommend Bruce and his company for your job. You won't regret it. read more

Needed some receptacles installed on our back patio for string lights. Bruce came out right away and asked the right questions to reinforce why this shouldn't be a DIY job. He was polite and easy to talk to and sent the estimate right away. At this point we became needy and asked if there was anyway he could do the work within the same week as we were entertaining on the weekend. Bruce was able to squeeze the job in even though he already had a busy week. That's service! The work was very professional and looked better than I had envisioned. I would highly recommend Tymeson for any of your electrician needs. read more

I had an issue with a kitchen electrical socket and I requested a quote from a few different businesses. Bruce responded quickly, and he arrived at my house shortly after. Brue and his son were great to work with. We had upstairs lighting and sockets not working, broken switch, old GFI sockets, chandelier wires not properly wrapped. Responded promptly and very professional! Installed a chandelier in my house, and it looks amazing. Definitely recommend!

If I could give Tymeson more than 5 stars, I totally would!!! We had an outside electrical outlet that needed replacement as it was seriously outdated and would push back into the wall every time you tried to plug anything in. When we got quotes, Bruce (who's the owner of the business) was the only one to mention if it wasn't already GFCI, we'd need to swap it out with a GFCI outlet. Perhaps other companies would've done that anyway, and perhaps they wouldn't have, but I wouldn't have known about it, had Bruce not mentioned it. To me that spoke to someone who not only does work correctly, but someone who also has safety in mind. That made me feel confident that Tymeson was a solid choice! When Bruce arrived for our job, he was on time and very personable and professional. At the end of our job he used a vac to clean up any dust remnants left behind and also installed an in-use outlet cover. When he was done I asked him about our outside fuse box in which the panel was not secured and if he thought it needed to be replaced/upgraded in the future. He thoroughly looked everything over and said it all looked good for our household needs and that all it needed was a panel screw to secure the panel - which he had on hand and quickly fixed for us at no extra charge!! Huge added bonus, Tymeson is a veteran owned business!!! Not only do I love supporting veteran owned businesses, but have found a level of integrity/honesty and quality of work that gives me the peace of mind for ANY project I need done. I could go on and on about how wonderful Tymeson was in the short interaction I had, but see for yourself...I think anyone would be happy in choosing them for their project, big or small!! We definitely will be calling Tymeson for any future projects we have!! Thanks Bruce!! read more
