He answered my call promptly and I was able to send him pictures through text which helped a ton in getting the project and pricing assessed accurately. I hired Everette after reading about him on the neighborhood app. Everette is the name of the company, and Phillip is the owner. I sent Phillip an email with a photo of the work I needed done. It involved fixing a hole in an exterior wall where we had something removed. He responded in a couple of hours with a quote. We set up a time and he was here on time. He completed the work in about an hour or an hour and a half. He took time to protect our new concrete with heavy duty paper and matched the stucco to the existing wall. We had Everette Handyman install an indoor bathroom barn sliding door. Prior to installation I asked for a estimate for the installation. I was told the job would take 4 hours and the price would be $400.00. I though $100 an hour was a little high but he was there and we had been waiting a long time for the special order door to be delivered so I agreed to his price. The door took 1 hour and 45 minutes for him to install. I pointed out that he had estimated 4 hours for the job and it took less than half the time. I told him that over $200 an hour was a bit much. His reply was that was the price that too. Again the price was base on his 4 hour estimate. He did good work but I would not use Everette Handyman serves again because I feel I was taken advantage of. read more
