I highly recommend MK Electric Inc! We had an electric water heater replaced by a plumber but they had issues with the electrical work so the new unit did not work. MK Electric came out and diagnosed the problem and explained what was wrong and fixed the problem right then and there. Clear communication and prompt and professional service. This is how a service professional should be. I will only use MK Electric Inc for any future electrical needs. read more

Absolutely wonderful crew. Well versed in their trade, solid communications, and great service. Have had them over three times now and will continue to bring them in when I run into electrical issues. No other company will do at this point. A+ I value Jake and his company. Pure win. read more

Jake, with his apprentice Diego, were awesome today. They troubleshot a ceiling fan issue, fixed a backward wired kitchen outlet, tightened loose wires under the kitchen sink and retighten every connection in the main electrical panel. I would highly recommend them for anything here in Sun City homes as Jake is very knowledgeable! Call them! read more

Just found an awesome licensed electrician to fix a handymans many blunders. MK Electric 623-939-0438. I had Jake as the technician, who was communitive, on time and very knowledgeable. I found them via my home warranty. Very reasonable priced as well. In these times where everything is super expensive, a handyman is the choice by many. However, the cost to fix their mistakes doesn't make it worth it. read more

Del showed up and would not do the testing for the home warranty on our broke. Dan so my girlfriend asked him to leave if he would not do what was asked prior to his arrival. Tried to speak with Brian, but he was extremely difficult to speak with and it was impossible for him to assign a new tech because it is a small company. We waited four business days to have them come out and do nothing. Horrible waste of time and would not recommend them for any work in the valley. read more

I just love leaving 5 star reviews for someone who takes pride in his line of work and does a great job. Our home warranty company assigned Del from MK to look at a chirping hard wired fire alarm - it turns out I put the battery in backwards. I checked and thought doorbell, lights are not covered by warranty, but he fixed them all!!!! He is very knowledgeable, friendly, on time. Two thumbs way up. read more

Summary: Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and very helpful. I'll call them again when I need electrical help, even if it's not through the home warranty. We discovered MK electric through our home warranty service. Put in a service order at 2pm. MK called less than 2 hours later and set up an appointment for the next afternoon. They kept me informed: emailed an appointment confirmation and then texted me the next day when he was on his way. Jake & his colleague arrived at the very beginning of the 3-hour window we had agreed upon. It's the age of Covid so both gentlemen had masks & were distancing (as best we could in the work area), and were courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. He found the problem with our recessed lighting fixtures that had started flickering & 3 that simply stopped working. A little research quickly revealed the main problem, plus he discovered there was some overheating due to insulation having been piled on the can lights when the previous owners had extra insulation blown into the attic. Everything was working perfectly in under an hour. And on a whim, as long as they were here, I asked about a ceiling fan on which the light worked, but not the fan. (Some electricians won't even look at anything that's not on the original work order.) Took him all of 30 seconds to determine that the problem was the fan direction slide switch on the motor housing. It had been bumped (probably while cleaning) into a "half-way" position, disconnecting the fan. A flick of the switch and we were back in business. He said it was the first thing he checked because "I've seen this before when people use a long wand duster to clean the fan." I'll call them again when I need electrical help, even if it's not through the home warranty. read more

Took them two days to even come out to a "no power" issue, and then they messed up the panel resulting in melted breakers then left never to be seen again. I spoke with the office man who assured me they would get an estimate together to replace the panel and get things rolling. I pretty much gave them carte blanche to do the job. It's been a week since I left two messages, no call backs, no estimates, just a non-working electrical panel. No I would not recommend this company - a company my home warranty company ONEGUARD sent out. If your warranty company schedules them - re-schedule. Or get a different warranty company. read more

Jake showed up in the time agreed upon and was able to diagnose and fix the outlet quickly. Great job! read more

I had MK Electric come out to my house earlier this week to do some new wiring for a ceiling fan, change out a dining room light fixture with a ceiling fan, and install a new outlet in my living room. Adam and his partner (didn't get his name) arrived in the given time frame, and even texted ahead of time to say he would be arriving in 20 minutes. They worked very quickly, and communicated with me throughout the process to let me know about any hurdles they ran into, or just giving me options on how they could fix my problems for me. Both guys were super friendly, and professional throughout their afternoon at my house. I was very happy with the work they did, and more importantly, the boss (my wife) was happy as well. I have other electrical projects on the to-do list in the coming months, and MK Electric will be the first company I call to do the work. read more

An older gentleman named Dean ,I believe, came out. I was deeply concerned about out home being old and the wiring being old and outdated. Dean fixed it for us. We have had no fluttering lights or tripped breakers since. My wife and I are so happy and feel safe in our home again. read more

Brian and his team are terrific. They are professional, courteous, clean, efficient, and most importantly, committed to customer service. They are old school in the best way and will make them our electrician of choice here in Phoenix. read more

Del informed me of the time he would arrive. Upon arrival Del was pleasant and welcoming to share his findings of the problem. Took him 20 mins to identify the issue and resolved the power outlet issue. It was a very good experience. Thank you. read more

MK Electric does work under OneGuard Home Warranty. I had a nice sounding fellow call me from MK Electric to inquire about a service order that I had with OneGuard. He called and we spoke for 30 seconds to one minute. He was certain that OneGuard had called him in error, and that they should have contacted a mechanical contractor as his company doesn't work on mechanical aspects of broken equipment, only electrical. But in calling OneGuard, he led them to believe that he had "diagnosed" the issue. He hadn't. He'd only spoken to the homeowner briefly, and the coverage we had on this broken item was cancelled due to his call and the phony "diagnosis" he left with the insurance company. I don't need headaches like this-- I'd find another electrical contractor if I were you. The contractor should be on the side of the end customer, supporting that person and their repair. I guess the big bucks they get from OneGuard put him into that corner and the sneaky way we were dealt with did not leave a positive impression. read more

I was very satisfied with MK Electric. I was having issues with the outlets in my house and a man named Del came to fix them. He was very knowledgeable, honest and kind. He was also on time. I did not have to wait all day for him to come by, unlike many other repair men. read more

We found Adam on Amazon. We needed some minor work done in our home. He arrived when he was scheduled and could not have been more friendly. He did great work and the price was fair. We may need some more things done in the future and will not hesitate to call him. read more

Not friendly, acted like they knew everything and didn't return my call for a quote. Guess my money isn't good enough! Lol

These guys are awesome! Adam was great to work with over the phone. I explained what I needed done, Adam was able to get an idea of the time and scope of the work quickly. Set a date and time for a few days later. Patrick arrived right on time. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Patrick completed the work and it exceeded my expectations. Patrick also discovered that what we thought needed to be replaced, just needed to be rewired. Save me money to boot! Awesome! Call these guys first when you need an electrician. read more

GREAT service!!!!! This is the second time MK Electric has fixed a problem through OneGuard Home Warranty and I couldn't be more pleased. Brion called within an hour of placing the warranty request and he diagnosed the problem quickly. We made an appointment for the following Friday. Jacob arrived as scheduled and fixed the problem. He had to replace a breaker but examined all the outlets to ensure there wasn't an additional problem. After talking with Brion 2 days prior, it was determined to be a faulty breaker problem but Jacob wanted to make sure. Both Brion and Jacob were very professional, courteous, polite and knowledgeable. It's obvious they know their job!!!! Very pleased!!!!! This is a family owned business and their customer service is exceptional. I would recommend MK Electric to anyone requiring electrical work. Just a GREAT company!!!!!! read more

We stumbled on MK Electric by accident (interesting but long story) and have never looked back! Adam is amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, and he knows his stuff! He's a straight shooter who will tell you what you need and don't need. We have referred him to numerous people, with zero hesitation, and everyone has loved him. Look no further for an honest, fair, and reliable electrician. read more

I wanted to add an interlock kit to my electric panel for a generator. He did not know what that was or what it was for. He tried to make me buy a generac, that I do not want. Then, he told me I needed to replace my whole electric panel. There is nothing wrong with my electricity and there is only mild corrosion in one corner of my box. When I asked why wouldn't I just change out the one neutral bar, he stated, "you can only do that with the newer models. That is not true. In fact, I already have another electrician changing out the one part and stated the rest of my electrical panel is perfectly fine. He asked why would I want to change everything. So, clearly MK electric was trying to take advantage of me. They wanted me to change out my entire panel which costs a couple thousand, instead of replacing a part for a couple hundred. Then on top of it, he made up a lie about it being an older model for the reason why. That does not make any sense. read more

Great service, knowledge and professional, with great pricing when compared to other estimates I got from other companies."

Adam an his crew do excellent work. They showed up when they said and knocked the job out quickly with good quality work. Very happy.
