This place is in la gran Via which is not easy to miss in this area. There are a lot to tapas bar in the street, but this one is a decent one. I would say the sangria is better than the food, but you have to try some of their tapas. I didn't care for cold tapas, but the rest was good. The best part was the Nicaraguan bartender that night. This place caught our eyes cause they had the tapas in smaller portions. We enjoyed trying what caught our eyes on the picture menu. We just had to point and tell the waitress how many. Everything we had was good. I guess not many people order shots of tequila, because the waitress had to ask the manager. Then the waiter brought a glass of ice & poured the Sauza on ice at the table. Very good and reasonably priced! I ordered some traditional items such as the croqueta, huevos estrellados, and iberico. All very tasty be served on a toasted baguette. They are known for their arantxa (two shrimps, mushroom, and bacon) and it was very flavorful and delicious. Ordered sangria and felt bad for returning it for how terrible it was so I ordered a beer, which was also tasteless and flat. They must pay the Elite Yelpers to come. The tapas are so tiny, the "hamburgers" were not much larger than the size of a quarter- literally you can eat in one bite. The sandwich wasn't even as big as a thumb.I ordered warm tapas because the cold ones looked like they had been sitting so long. After seeing the cold tapas we would have left but we had ordered our drinks already. The waitresses looked embarrassed to put them on the table. This place is a total tourist trap! Sangria was lemon soda with enough wine to color it red. Tapas were completely bland, except for one. It was the shrimp wrapped in some sort of Middle East pastry. We tried 10 different tapas. From fried seafood to grilled meat on a piece of bread. The meats are very tasty and will satisfy anyone's salt craving or savoryness.
