I called Antelope Valley Plumbing and was able to confirm the appointment time I was looking for, which was today at 2. The phone call was no fuss, no muss, and very straight forward. It's rare that it goes that smoothly these days so I was very happy. I received a text @ 1:30 telling me that the plumber, Joey, was in route. 10 minutes later he shows up, lays out the process in which the service will proceed, and it was very upfront and reasonable. In a very short time, my leak was gone, my front yard was no longer flooded, and Joey is a very personable individual who obviously takes pride in the work he does. Guy that came out didn't do his job correctly and just told me my septic tank is full and charged his fee. Called Kurt's and they were able to see me that same day thankfully! Beau was AMAZING!!!! Not only did he ease my anxieties and worries about the septic possibly failing, but he was kind enough to give me a crash course on how septic tanks work. After thoroughly emptying, cleaning, and ensuring all was well, I was informed that if any other issues arise shortly after, it will be the main line and to call that plumber back to do his job. Fast forward not even 5 days later and my bathtub and toilet are at it again. Called the plumber back and informed him of the current situation and how I really needed him to come snake the main line as I had hired/payed him to do but was told that he would charge me again. Didnt want to deal with that so I decided to call Kurt's yet again. This time Bret came out to service my main lines and was a trooper at handling the few problems that popped up. He was able to find a clog in the lines and took care of it all right away. Once again I was educated and informed that moving forward if anything else fails, then it'll be time to replace the septic and/or leech lines. Although it was really pricey compared to other service calls, it was well worth the price knowing the job was done right. Of course, being the genius that I am, I fixed the situation myself by having a panic attack while running around my back yard like a headless voodoo chicken trying to figure out where the damn water shut off switch is. (Couldn't find it... don't judge me I just bought this house so I've yet to figure out where all the buttons are lol.) So the water is flowing, and so is my adrenaline. I dailed 3 pluming services. The first couldn't work on the types of pipes I have, the second just told me to just shut off the water because she didn't have a serviceman to help me (seriously) so I hung up on that hoe. Then I just called roto-rooter.... I must admit, in desperation. I remember the commercials from the when I was a kid. I didn't think they'd be able to do anything.... I mean, how helpful can a company with an 80s jingle and cheesy commercial be? But I was desperate. Hunnnay! PUT SOME RESPECK ON ROTO-ROOTERS NAME! Tony came out in 30 min! On Good Friday no less! He didn't have the right pipe (my pipes are discontinued apparently) but he figured out a way to cap the flowing water, and STILL get me water to the house, even though it was cold only. He promised to return today with the proper pipe to fix it this morning! As he was leaving, 3 more specialty guys from the company showed up to address any water damage and harm it could've done to my property, as well as dry it and make it safe... WHAT?! That was NO EXTRA CHARGE! I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any large quote.

They were detailed in their explanation, respectful of the work space, and thorough in the clean up afterwards. We've decided to go with a full replacement of our water heater, which we confidently feel that they will do a great job on.
