Love this place and have seen the changes threw the years. The Friday pizza night is so much fun. Its up stairs and the room is filled with the feeling of history. The staff is warm and fun and work hard to deliver pizza and drinks. You can bring in your own wine with a small corkage fee. The pizza is tasty though I love Italian style pizza. After a long weekend trip and driving down on Hwy 1 from Fort Bragg, out of all the little towns and communities we passed, we found this hidden gem! Everyone was so welcoming, all walks of life passed through as I people watched enjoying our mid morning snack. I wish I got here early to try their breakfast burrito. This place is a combo of a general store, bakery and deli! Everything.. I mean everything is reasonably priced!! From their travel size toothpaste to coffee and baked goods! Definitely refreshing to experience from prices I experience living in the South Bay Area. Everything is made with Love and you can taste it! As a retired pastry chef, 10 stars on these tried and true class pastries and baked good. I regret not buying a fresh baked loaf of bread. Bear claw was light buttery crispy and not to overwhelming sweet. Coconut macaroons taste from someone's great grandmothers hands, pure classic, no fluff, no new take on a classic and that's what I look for. I come across places where the pastries are science experiments, combo of flavors that shouldn't belong together but taste good (nothing wrong with that) but I personally like it when people hone into their craft and is a real expertise. Everyone seems to do the most in being a jack of all trades. Losing focus on creating a good product and perfecting it. Twofish Baking Co. has definitely perfected their craft! This is a gem of a bakery and cafe. I found out about this place through my fiancé who has been going here for the past 20 years. The chefs really know what they are doing when it comes to everything on the menu! I always crave this bread and their Italian sandwich when I am not in the area, so much so that I have tried a mock recipe of the bread for the sandwich but to no avail, the secret speaks for itself in Twofishes bread! The pizzas and calzones are amazing too... (you have to call or go in to order them ahead of time, they sell like hotcakes) I can not recommend this place more if you are in the area!! read more

Hi, we have been purchasing baked goods ever since we purchased a place at SR. I cannot say enough good things about their bakery items. Like others, I love their challah and also their baguettes. Another favorite of ours, are their morning buns, and the rosemary raisin bread that they bake on Thursday. Also, for dog owners, they make dog biscuits that my doodle loves. Salt water taffy fans will also discover a variety of taffy that is delicious and fresh. The owners are truly wonderful and the staff is always helpful and friendly. read more

I know my sticky buns. I know the quality ones from the lackluster ones. I can tell which ones have been stirred with care, and which ones have been kneaded and rolled with good intentions. Twofish Baking Co's sticky buns are heavenly and overw-flowing with positivity. They're the real deal. I don't normally indulge in sugary things of late - but after glimpsing the cardboard box full of Twofish decadence - still warm out of the baking oven - I just had to do some sampling. My tastebuds somersaulted. My tongue danced. They were unbelievable - and well worth the sugar rush which resulted afterwards. I have to update my review to respond to a few recent reviews that took issue with the service at Two Fish. It seems as though some believe that "regulars" get better service than visitors. I'm not sure what I am...I own a house at Sea Ranch but only come up every month or so for a few days. I'm pretty sure that they don't recognize me at Two Fish, but who knows? I get the same service as people I know to be regulars. I guess if you're something of a prima donna you might not like the service...it's efficient but not warm and fuzzy. I know that the owners know the regulars and will chat briefly with them, but isn't that what being a regular should entail? Non-regulars certainly are not stiffed or given lower quality goods or overcharged. If you're looking for Starbucks efficiency, perhaps you do have a valid complaint. But if you're looking for an honest to goodness local bakery/coffee shop in a beautiful, rural area, you will get exactly what you're hoping for. And yes, they run out of products fairly early. I got in at 8:45 am today and there were still a few sticky buns and morning buns, but by 9 am I'm sure they were gone. Seriously, people, this isn't a chain or some huge bakery. I assume that their goal is to make just enough so they have no waste and if they sell out while there are still people coming in, it's better than having leftovers that go into the trash (along with the costs to produce the goods). read more

I really like Two Fish Bakery. It has charm, uber friendly staff and a real sense of community. Pick something out of the case, order a warm drink and go sit on the patio and enjoy the morning sun before an action packed day. You can get sandwiches from here as well. We had the coffee cake and the lemon olive oil cake this time around. Coffee cake was okay, but the GF makes a coffee cake that puts it to shame. I love olive oil baked goods, and the lemon cake was no exception! -1 star for never having breakfast stuff. Unless you want to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and get there as soon as they open between 7 and 8 a.m. Which I would rather not, since I am on vacation. Mmm... delicious! I came here with a friend to pick up breakfast for a bunch of us staying in a Sea Ranch vacation rental and it didn't disappoint at all! Twofish has a wide variety of different breakfast pastries. Of particular note were the pumpkin bread and cinnamon rolls (with currants). Everyone at the cabin loved the breakfast! It's in a very cute location that epitomizes the sort of architecture and vibe that I envision when I think of Sea Ranch. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in the area. read more

This place is as good as the Yelpers say! So impressed. We tried the turkey sandwich and an Italian meat sandwich. So tasty, the bread so fresh, the other ingredients also so well incorporated. We love love loved their lemon bundt cake- first shared a slice, it was sooooo good and fresh, we went back to get a slice each of our own! We also tried their oatmeal cookie and peanut butter cookie. Hands down some of the tastiest and freshest cookies we ever had! We highly, highly recommend this little bakery. What a gem in the little town. The suggestion to make reservations for certain items is highly recommended. They do run out of items- QUICK!! If you're up in Sea Ranch or nearby for the weekend Twofish is a must stop. The pastries are insanely good and fresh and baked daily. The building it's in is great, it's an old barn I believe and the ocean view is solid. The little grocery store in there as well is full of great specialty items, very good craft beer and wine selection, as well as cheeses. Highly recommend a scone, but a must is the sticky bun. Friday's is pizza night, only night they are open for dinner. Still haven't done lunch here, but we will definitely be grabbing some next time we're up in Sea Ranch or Gualala. Staff is super friendly, oh before I forget, buy a loaf of bread and bring it to the cabin. It will be gone in 2 days, our favorite was the olive bread. read more

Stopped twice while at Sea Ranch but as others said, they can be out of a lot of stuff if you go very late. Loved the sticky bun and morning bun, coffee and latte decent. Thought the biscuit solo the first morning was good but dry without the jam. Tried it again the second morning and added the ham and gruyere. It was better but after waiting 5+ minutes for it to be heated, it was luke warm but at least tasty. Neat interior so overall a fun stop on the coast. read more

Came here on our way back to the bay from Gualala. This is a little general store and bakery right at the crossing of Stewarts Skaggs Spring Road and Highway 1. The bakery has a lot of options for breakfast pastries, sandwiches on housemade bread, calzones, and coffee or tea drinks. We ordered the daily special sandwich, grilled cheese with pulled pork and onions, a calzone, and the morning bun. This was too much food for two, but we almost ate everything. Everything was super rich and heavy, but delicious. The grilled cheese was super fatty from the pork and oozing cheese and the onions gave a slight contrast. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside and nice and chewy. The calzone was loaded with meat and cheese and came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. The calzone was super messy because the meat inside was dripping with grease. The crust on the calzone was cracker crisp on top and nicely doughy and chewy on the bottom. The morning bun was covered in sugar and pecans and the pastry was so buttery and flossy. The baked goods here are excellent and I would definitely stop by here again if I were driving by. read more
