OK, this was my 2nd visit here. First one was spectacular. This one - not so much...mostly because the counter girl had a HUGE attitude (I was told later by another Two Tony's customer who works in the same building as I do that she wasn't supposed to be working today but got called in my the boss...I wish I knew this ahead of time and saved my money and my time). I ordered ahead and said I would be there in 5 minutes for the soup of the day. I got there in about 3-4 minutes and paid. Then I waited, and I waited while she proceeded to ignore me and wait on other people. I finally asked where my order was and she said "it'll be about 5 minutes". Then when I complained that I couldn't wait and that was why I called ahead - her little attitude kicked in and she complained back to me that it takes a while to get it prepared and I just called 3 minutes ago. Really? I was standing there at least 5 minutes at that point. And it was their "soup of day"....what's to prepare at this point...? In any event, I paid $4.25 for a LOUSY tasting, super salty cup of chicken noodle soup in a pitifully small container. (maybe 8 oz.) I tasted like they opened a can of Campbell's original chicken noodle soup. Just awful. I am not happy with this visit. But mostly because of the lousy attitude behind the counter. I really like this pizzeria. I recently moved to this area and they have great pizza and Italian food. Their sauce is great, and being Italian sauce is important! Lol I have it 4 stars because parking is a pain sometimes (on the street metered) and they sell Pepsi and no Coke...I'm not a Pepsi fan :) read more

Will never order from here again! Food is just average and had to wait two hours from order time to delivery time, which I was not made aware of when ordering. I called the store back to speak with someone once my food hadn't been delivered after an hour and a half and was told I would be called right back and I'm still waiting for a phone call. With the wait you could obviously guess that my food was cold. I would not write such a horrible review if this was a one time incident but I've ordered from here three times and each time the customer service was worse and they obviously don't care nor do they want returning customers. read more

Loved the heros! I had a tuna hero and my lovely partner had the chicken & cheese hero. Both were delicious. Pizza & garlic knots are good too obviously we're from Brooklyn so our standards for pizza a little high! Can't wait to try other heros! The only reason the wait is a bit long at this pizzeria is because the food is delicious and people from different cities order here all the time. This place is always packed and busy. I called so I get have my pizza heated by the time I got in because I was in a rush and when I got there they never put it in and they didn't seem to care. Just tried to order a full sub with a drink and chips, the girl on the other end cut me off asking if I was ordering anything else because they wont deliver just one item and the chips and soda do not count. I asked if there was a minimum, she said yes ten dollars but even if the bill exceeds ten dollars for the one food item they still will not deliver. Makes no sense. I have gone here on many occasions the last time my pizza was burnt tasting. The crust was burnt on the bottom actually. Well this time I ordered a veggie calzone & 2 orders of wings. Prepaid for my order (big mistake). Was told my order would be 45 minutes but took an hour plus & was cold. I continue to go here the owner is a classmate of my brother & a real nice guy. I went to two tonys with my family. I never experienced such rude and ignorant service from the girl behind the counter. I told her that the table was a little dirty and she offered to give me Windex so that I can clean it! The owner was standing right behind her and didn't say anything to her and he must have heard it because they were close. I've heard around town that the girls that work there are very ignorant and feel like you owe them something and don't want to do their job but I had never seen it myself needless to say I will never be returning to this restaurant! This is the best pizza place around. I live close by and I order almost every Friday since I don't want to cook on my day off. My kids love their pizza. And the Sicilian is to die for. Their wings are amazing. So crispy. Their dinners. Chicken parm especially is delicious. And their penne vodka with chicken dinner taste like it was made in Italy. So I got done working the second job today. My stomach is empty and there's nothing else on my mind but having a sausage Parmesan sub from Two Tonys's! I called Two Tonys's and I was immediately put on hold again. When I said again I mean it's every time I call. so I stopped and picked up the sausage Parmesan sub on the way home and had a wonderful dinner. My hunger pains were cured!!! I have been ordering from Two Tony ' s for almost 17 years but I must say that in the last year it has gone down hill. Almost everytime I order for delivery it comes either missing something or the order is wrong. Also the young lady who answers the phone is quite rude and has a bad attitude! I love the owner Tony. They have the worst customer service over the phone! They have no sense of direction or time. Tried to give them a second chance after a year ago they said it would be 45 min for delivery and showed up an hour and half later. I had a coupon for a Large Pizza and wings for $12. We added a 2 liter soda and when it was delivered the bill was 20$. The delivery guy stated our coupon was not applied. When I called I was told the coupon was applied and that we had added a soda when i questioned how a soda could jack up the bill an additional 8 dollars I was told there was a delivery charge as well. Seems a little expensive. I am also confused about whether my coupon was applied or not since I got two different answers. I would not recommend this place as I feel they ripped me off for at least four dollars. Bad business for a place in a new location but live and learn I guess. read more

I guess thats linden education. not to bash the town because PIZZA TOWN always has the best service. the way I was served was disgusting. So I call Two Tony's in Linden to order and pick up a sausage and pepperoni pie. The guy on the phone says he'll have it ready in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I'm in the store when four pizzas come out of the oven. None of these were mine. I'm a little annoyed by this minor deception. Since I opted to prepay (to be fair, nobody in Two Tonys asked me to), I wait in the store 20 minutes more. The pizza comes. Boom. I run back to my vehicle parked at a downtown meter that I didn't feed (I expected just to run in and out) relieved I didn't get a ticket. Now all of the above would have been moot if the pizza were tasty. The best part about it was the sausage. The crust was uninspired and tasted floury. Of the toppings, other than the passable sausage, the sliced pepperoni could have been cardboard cutouts for all the flavor it added. The cheese was skimpy and dry. If they used any oil it was very sparingly. I don't like pizza dripping with fluid, but shouldn't there at least me something to relieve the slice of its dryness? Make sure you have a beverage to keep from scratching your throat up. All in all, it hit about a "1" for me. I mentioned Two Tony's to my little nephew, and he and his friends love the place. If nothing, it's kid friendly. Children will eat anything with salt, cheese or sugar so maybe that's it. And the prices are reasonable! But don't expect Pazzo's Pizza (my new, favorite near-work Manhattan spot ) or Famous Ray's. Two Tonys was filling (I ate it) but a blind man might have tore into the cardboard box with no discernible difference. I give it 2 stars; I hope it gets better. having recently moved to linden from NYC I have been really in the mood for good pizza .. My girlfriend kept on telling me of the best pizza in linden (allegedly two toneys) and to make this long story short .. The let down was huge .. The service was horrible .. And the pizza (in my case Sicilian) felt like bite size morsels .. I do understand quality over quantity but first make sure you do have quality ..
