This is one of the best pizza places in Linden. My family and I have been ordering from here for a few years now. I love there cheesesteaks and they even put ketchup on it if asked. I believe they have a new owner, because I ordered a pizza a few weeks ago and it tasted a little bit different. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Be prepared to pay $30 if not more for two large pies with toppings. read more

Community alert! Unethical business practices here. I ordered two deep dish pies. I received two regular pies. When I called and asked for a refund of the price difference . We were fine with just taking the regular pies, we were hungry. I explained the charge for deep dish. I was told by this establishment " we didn't have the dough for the deep dish so I sent you two fresh regular pies" She refused to refund the difference her reason because she sent me fresh pies!? well,I hope you are serving customers fresh food. And knowingly overcharging your customers for goods they didn't order is fraud which I will be reporting. Trashy. First and last time with this place . Double check the food quality with this place apparently fresh food to them is a favor they do you and over charge you for??? read more

Omg WOW! We ordered a white pie and a plain pie, and both were beyond delicious. The white pie might be one of the best slices I've ever had, and the plain was just as satisfying. Super impressed with the quality--definitely ordering again! read more

Venice Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Linden, New Jersey

This restaurant has been here for the longest but never had a chance to try. Maybe because I don't do dairy but anywho, I ordered my meal through the slice app. I ordered the broccoli and pasta and a side of spinach. I had some discount codes so it only came to $10.65. They called and said it would take about 15 minutes. I got there and parked in front about 15 minutes later. I walked in and told the lady my name and she said it would take a few more minutes. It took about 10 more minutes and I grabbed my food and left. When I got home I dug in and I really liked the linguini and broccoli and it was so filling and flavorful. The spinach and garlic was just ok. I usually love spinach but it was semi bitter. All in all I had a good experience. read more

My go-to place, haven't had a bad slice here in years. The staff are super friendly and welcoming.

The pizza is good but the customer service is awful. This is my second experience with them. The first experience I order through Uber eats and called to make sure I could request beef pepperoni because there is not an option for beef on the app. I called the gentleman was completely rude tell me how expensive beef pepperoni is and I need to pay extra. The second experience I called my order in ahead of time and I get there my order was not ready because the same gentleman tells me how expensive beef pepperoni is and he didn't want to trust if I was really coming or not and he would have to throw the pizza away. They don't use please or thank you. I will not be going here again read more

Thin crust and very tasty cheese and pepperoni pizza. Heated up 2 slices leftovers and they were just as good. Will be back again to try sandwiches. Very nice staff and pizza was delivered promptly. read more

Pizza was yummy garlic knots even better food was done fast lady at the counter was super nice

The pizza is cool week and not greasy and the wings are also amazing to eat. Highly recommend

Family owned. Good pizza. Recommend ordering specialty pizza. Was made fresh while we waiting. Decently fast. Tasted like fresh ingredients. Garlic knots were good and garlicky. Prices are decent $18 for specialty pie and garlic knots. It's even right next store to a liquor store. read more

This used to be my go-to pizza place since I moved to the area, but one interaction with an employee had me vowing to never come back. I had ordered a cheesesteak with 2 types of cheese. The girl over the phone took my order, and when I came in to pick it up, I noticed they charged me $3-4 (Can't remember exactly) for the extra 2 slices of cheese. I said to the girl that if they were going to charge so much extra, she should have mentioned it (as I wouldn't have ordered it), and the older guy working the oven just exploded on me. Basically told me that I was being cheap, and food costs money, and if I didn't like it I should just leave. Look, I understand that food costs money. I also understand that $0.50 worth of cheese and 10 seconds of effort isn't worth $4. I also know that if she had said "oh, that will be $X extra" I simply would have said "forget it, I'll take it the normal way" and be done with it. But to surprise me with the charge after I paid (I was never told, I questioned why the bill was so high) is just ridiculous. So yeah. Screw this place, plenty of better options in the area like Enzo's or Two Tony's. It's not even about the $4, it's being told I was cheap and being yelled at that turned me off. read more

I've frequented Venice for roughly 20years. I'm not sure when the change of owners took place but apparently it wasn't too long ago. First let me start with the positives. The guys were attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately the pizza is nothing like it was before the change of owners took place. That's really all it boils down to for me. The pizza just isn't what it used to be. read more

Read a few reviews about the rude staff, this is why we review! So that the owner/managers listen and turn things around. I think that may be the case here because the staff was really friendly , the gentleman brought over our slices to our table and asked if we wanted any condiments and brought those over as well . 5 starts for good pizza and excellent service. read more

First time ordering after the renovations. It was good before and EVEN BETTER now. Young lady who took out order on the phone was very friendly as well. Will definitely be back there soon read more

Very good pizza on a very busy street. Parking will be an adventure for sure. But the pizza is definitely worth it. Good crust, good sauce, and good cheese. I have a friend that lives in walking distance of this pizzeria and I came in hoping to satisfy my pizza urge. Consider it satisfied! I was so happy that the bottom crust came out charred and crispy. It's the best finish for pizza in my opinion. That's amore... read more

Use to love this place .. The people working there had no personality kinda rude to , but the pizza was good . There buffalo chicken pizza was one of the best . Well place was bought out or something and looks like things changed pizza isn't the same . And the new boss is looks like an ----watched him insult the pizza maker for know reason other then feel like authority , never again. ! read more

I ordered baked ziti. The baked ziti has no ricotta cheese and the sauce tasted like windex and the cheese tasted rotten

The prices went up and the portions got smaller. No longer a good value. I no longer go here...ever.

REVIEW ON PIZZA The pizza is OK. Nothing special. The cheese is ok, the sauce is ok and the crust is ok. Not really much seasoning or flavor. Just taste like plain old pizza. PLACE The restaurant its self was horrible. The light was so dim, broken mirror and no TV. Just a very dull place. Honestly? Save your money and go somewhere else (Two Tony's, Tucky's, Taphouse) read more

The best pizza in Linden. HANDS DOWN! The ziti pizza is my favorite, but any slice that I have had from Venice has been great. Thin crust, never soggy and tasty sauce. It's a winner. read more

Pizza was great! Try the margherita pie it's my fav. Great service as well, very friendly staff. I read the reviews below and management definitely addressed it. read more

The cute pizza man makes like the best pizza ever. Boo boo in the back makes good pasta. I eat pizza and you eat a##. The pizza is great on a Tuesday. I love Venice food it's so goodie read more

Disgusting! Worst pizza I've ever had in my 46 year of life.stay away! Order elsewhere.

Trust me, go somewhere else. Go ANYWHERE else. Venice used to be a good go-to for pizza or subs. Now, it takes forever to get your orders and more than half the time what you get is NOT what you ordered. The staff is beyond rude. We decided to give them one last shot tonight. Big mistake. After an hour of waiting for our order "Tony" tells me: "it would just be easier if you picked up your food". I tell him after several bad experiences this will be our last order with them. He say's "okay, you lose I don't lose". That tells me everything I need to know. Incorrect orders, horrendously slow service and very rude staff - no one should waste their money on that. read more

The pizza is really good but the customer service sucks. They have treated us with derision enough times that we now order elsewhere.

Looking for a quick filler on the way to visit friends and stopped by this spot. Its your traditional Mom and Pops that you'd expect in any neighborhood USA. These guy offered friendly A+ service and moreover a quality fresh tasting product on the fly... no special order... just a great tasting slice to go. I would definitely visit again when I'm back in the area. read more

Pizza delicious!! Had 2 slices and a snapple and cost $5 and change. The sauce tasted so good!! I'll definitely come here and again and definitely recommend it to anyone. read more

DAMN, this place had some freaking good food!!! Ordered delivery yesterday and everything we got was pretty bangin. 1. Chicken Parm Sandwich (asked them to add grilled onions and hot peppers) - SOOOOO good! Might be one of the best chicken parm sandwiches that I have ever had. Amazing. 10/10 2. Bacon Cheeseburger - Really really good too but they make it on a hoagie roll so that was different. Regardless, great taste and big portion size too. 9/10 3. Buffalo Wings - They gave the sauce on the side but the wings were so crispy and they were pretty large too. So so good. 9/10 4. Fries - They were like steak fries so I wasn't a big fan of them. But it's fries so who cares it did the job. 5/10 Overall, some really amazing food and nothing is overly expensive. I really appreciated how everything was priced, we only spent about 20 bucks between the two of us. I will definitely be ordering from here again when I'm in the area. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover, this place is a much to look at. But I had an excellent plain slice for two dollars. Thin crunchy crust, warm melty cheese, tasty sauce, and most importantly the slice folds up nicely without cracking or falling apart (the way a proper slice should) so you can take it to go without a plate. read more

If I wanted a plain pizza that's what I would have ordered. But I wanted Margherita pizza. That is not what I got. And it wasn't even cut through, which is something my five year old nephew pointed out. Save your money and just go to Tucky's or Taphouse. read more

My family enjoys their steak sandwich's. This is the second time we ordered for delivery. Both times we were told 30 to 45 minutes. Last time it was an hour and half. Looks like it will be the same this time Just called after an hour wait and was told there was a problem with the oven. The girl that answered the phone is very pleasant but that's the only other good thing I can say about the place. We will not be back. The ending the manager came a very nice young man. All apolitically and I had to call back and tell them they still have the best cheesesteak in Linden . My tastes buds won out we will back to order again read more

This is hands down the BEST pizza out there! I grew up lucky enough to live right down the street from this place, but it also set my standard super high for a great pie! read more

We've tried several things on the menu and were pleasantly pleased-the wraps and panini pressed sandwiches are so good! Friendly staff and clean environment, our go to pizzeria! Try it out yourself- you won't be disappointed read more

I just called to ask what type of specialty slices they had..He said "You're going to have to come here and look at what I have..I don't have time to talk on the phone" and hung up on me..I'm a regular customer of almost 10 years..never had any problems..his food is okay..definitely not worth the way he treats customers..and to think..it was the OWNER who hung up on me..there's a new Pizzeria that just opened in avail plaza that delivers..heard they're pizza is good AND they have great Zeppolis..Venice...you just lost a looooooong time customer..what a shame read more

decent place to get a pie, but in the pm, their slices are old and chewy. i asked for a new slice, as the ones out looked dead, and he pulled another tired looking pie from below. ick. but they do make a good pie if you get one for take out. ask for extra crispy. read more

Best pizza ive tasted. Tastes like a jersey slice should. Perfect sauce & cheese. Im here almost every single day now. Stuck on a pizza high! You HAVE to eat here. Their pizzas are amazing. read more

After dealing with this establishment for over 20 years. I was stunned when I placed an order for our usual LG pie with extra cheese. What we received was an old pie with more cheese melted on to it. Plus the "large pie" left a quarter of the box empty. I called the shop to try and get some explination for this. The woman that answered told me to hold for the the manager. When I started to stated my concerns, he said to me, and I quote "was I &*(%(*$ kidding him". He continuned to yell over me and not allow me to voice my concerns. Mind you we have been customers of theirs at least once a week for the last 20 years. Needless to say I told him it would be the last time we would be calling. His response was he didn't care. In this economy it must be nice to have so many customers that he doesn't care if lose one because of a subpar product and arrogance. read more

We ordered from here on a Friday, around 4:00 pm, for pick up. We got a large pie with black olives, anchovies and garlic, as well as an order of garlic bread with cheese. The garlic bread was sub par, nothing to write home about. The pizza, however, was very good. The anchovies were salty, the garlic was fresh and warm, the crust was nice and crispy. They have a lot of topping choices, even less common ones such as clam and calamari. I would definitely order here again. read more
