The food has never once disappointed us. The steaks are phenomenal. Please bring back the LeGrand bacon fat washed bourbon, it was one of the best libations I have ever had. Wait staff has been very helpful. We love sitting at the bar and seeing the bartenders do their magic. Ambiance is lowly lit and romantic. Now that it's getting so much busier, I wish it closes a bit later (perhaps midnight on Fridays and Saturdays?) .

The dim lighting is perfect for a romantic dinner, but also great for large groups. There are two floors, each has a bar which stays just as busy as the dining areas. The staff is friendly, the servers are great and do not miss a thing. I can't decide what we enjoyed more because it was all outstanding. We ordered: -thick cut bourbon bacon -calamari with Thai chili sauce -charred octopus -bone marrow -porterhouse steak for two -ribeye steak -cider glazed short rib -sautéed asparagus -sweet potato brûlée -cocktails -espresso and cappuccino They have valet parking, street parking or a lot located behind the restaurant that fills up quick. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

They recently redid the outdoor patio--great for the summer and it's close to the Sewarren waterfront to enjoy the sunsets and people bringing in their boats. Her attitude was so nasty, according to her she had to charge us for the green teas because she felt like we did not tip her well. She did not even let me finish giving her the tip money and became upset with the singles we had. Don't trust these bartenders. It's the principal behind it. Don't say it is on the house and then charge us for it. I can easily afford 3 green teas, but don't be petty about the situation. First and last time going to this bar. Update: Now Nick the business owner is denying this is "not his business" Please, don't be ridiculous! How do I know the live band there was playing Sway by Dean Martin last night? Why would I make this up?? I am not the only person here complaining about the same bartender! Instead of denying things, why don't you take these reviews into consideration and improve on your business?

If you're a fan of Hugo's, you'll absolutely love Caído de el Cielo. The décor is Soo cute, creating a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. While the restaurant doesn't have a liquor license (though you can likely bring your own), they serve a delicious chicha morada, refreshing lemonade, a variety of Peruvian sodas, and your typical American soft drinks. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming staff and excellent service set the tone for a great dining experience. The portions are generous, too! We kicked off our meal with the "Trio Causa," a traditional layered potato dish seasoned with ají amarillo and lime, filled with chicken, tuna, and seafood, topped with pickled onions. It was super yummy! For the main course, we had the Arroz Chaufa, a seafood stir-fry rice dish that stole the show. This dish is loaded with seafood- crab, large shrimp, mussels, and calamari, enough to easily share among 2-3 people. We also tried the Lomo Saltado, and wow! The sauce was incredible, and the steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Parking can be a bit tricky since it's street parking, but don't let that deter you from experiencing this wonderful place. If you love Peruvian food as much as I do, you won't want to miss it!

Parking is a bit challenging though and their AC was not properly working at the time of my visit (a bit uncomfortable). Among the dishes we tried are as follows: Their Anticucho is phenomenal, it's a beef grilled heart served with fried-boiled potatoes and corn. Choritos a la Chalaca was good, its mussels marinade with lime, served with red onions, tomatoes and cilantro. Lastly, the Jalea was good as well, these are deep fried seafoods (fish, crabs, mussels, etc.) served with onion salads. I will definitely go back next time to try other lists in their menu specially their ceviche. Well recommended Peruvian place!
