Had to go a few things In Rahway in the late morning and once done was craving Mexican food. There was a place across the street from the theater which we had tried a few years back. Looked it up and it was still there La Malinche Restaurant. That's where we were we headed indeed. Beautiful server and she was there to serve and on point. Food came out quickly and of course had the chips and salsa green and red. Very tasty. The main course was exactly what we were craving for. It' was excellent and will go again.

I'm not sure if we just hit an off day. My wife gives it a 3, my daughter a 3.75 and I give it a 4 averaging about a 3.6 so rounding up to a 4 rating. We order two carnitas tacos, flautas, guacamole and chips, and carnitas nachos. The carnitas were a little dry but for the tacos I added the green sauce and guacamole which gave it more moisture, flautas were excellent with the cheese, lettuce and tomato on top, chips with the guacamole were a little chewy maybe from earlier, the guacamole was excellent and the chips in the nachos were very good with a great ingredients except the carnitas were a bit dry. The preparation and presentation were excellent...nice people. Next time we are in town, we will give them a try again and try the al pastor meat. Overall, a good Mexican restaurant if you are in the area.

3 tacos: shrimp, fish, and pork

I ordered 3 different tacos (shrimp, pork, and fish) and they were all good but the fish was my favorite. The pork was a little dry but in combo with they sauces, they tasted great. I personally liked the orange and red sauces they gave. I tried the banana milkshake but it wasn't anything I couldn't make at home. Overall, I'd def come back and try the tostadas and more fish tacos!

I can imaging this place gets jam packed on show night across the street. The dining area is cute and clean and the service staff are very good. It's a standard menu for a taqueria and the 4 different tacos I sampled were very good. You can tell the kitchen crew do everything with pride. The salsa and chips served while you order are house made and there is plenty to use in your meal as well. I'm very glad I found the positive Yelp reviews that helped me choose to visit. They certainly live up to they're rating.

Love this authentic, family-run Mexican restaurant. Great place for lunch or a casual dinner. They have an appealing menu, and reasonable prices. Sat down to a free basket of fresh, crispy tortilla chips with salsa verde and pico de gallo. My six foot-three friend and I then ordered less than $25 of food and could not finish it all. Interesting dishes on the menu include warm cactus salad, ($5), Chicken entrée w/Oaxaca-style mole sauce ($11), Bistec-style steak entrée topped with two eggs and salsa verde ($11.50), beef tongue or BBQ beef & goat meat tacos ($3), torta Cubana w/beef, chicken, chorizo, and ham, plus fries ($8.50), fresh banana or strawberry licuados (milk shakes, $3), flan dessert (only $2). You may have to feed the meter out front. Metered street parking is limited to 1 hour on Irving St., or park on residential Hamilton St. around the corner.

Checked this place out because of the reviews, and it wasn't bad. They got good food for the price. I was craving chicken mole having had it while I was in Texas. The mole here wasn't as sweet but it was savory, and I was expecting chunks of chicken but this was actual pieces of chicken coated in the sauce. I liked it despite my expectations, I could tell this was more authentic cooking and it was healthy. The chicken was fall off the bone tender. I didn't get a chance to get a pic of my food but my sis got a pic of the chicken mole enchiladas and having tried a bite, I liked it better than my own dish, def recommend it. I highly recommend the Tres Leches and Strawberry Cheesecake Chimichanga, which was really delish. The flan was a little firm and bland. The place had a cute interior and the service was good too. Solid place. I'd come back and give the tacos a try next time.

I'm such a sucker for Mexican food. And let me tell you, this place was far beyond my expectations! Food was so delicious, service was amazing! For cheap prices, home Mexican cuisine, I totally recommend this place! Small little environment but this place will far beyond remain to be one of my favorite places. The prices aren't over the top expensive, and you can combine whatever in the menu. So example(my brother got a tostada plus two tacos on one plate) doesn't have anything like that on the menu, he just combined it on one plate. Owner of the restaurant shared some of her history with my parents and me, there was conversation and just such a friendly atmosphere but space to enjoy our food! Totally amazing! Meter parking, and free chips when you sit down!

So so good and so cheap!! Comparable prices to taco truck prices on the street and just as much flavor. The place is small and cozy and they've been here for 15 years. The owners and waitors there are super friendly and the place just feels like you walked into your aunt's kitchen. They start you with chips and two salsas: a green salsa that is really refreshing and a red one that's pretty spicy but really good. Tacos are $2.25 each and they are double tortilla-ed. Usually a fan of using two shells but only when necessay. One here was more than enough so definitely going to tell them to save the other next time I come back. I had to al pastor, carne asada and csrnitas tacos. We also got a side of rice and beans. The Al pastor was super juicy but wish that there was more of a pineapple flavor to it. Carne asada and csrnitas was a little dry but with the green salsa on top it was perfect. Rice and beans were good, can't really go wrong here but they do use pinto beans instead of black beans. Definitely would come back. Parking is a little hard because it is street parking but definitely doable. Street meters are free after 7. They don't have a liquor license but it is byob and it's across the street from the local theater so dinner and a show is perfect.

It was good. Small place. Good service. The food was good, but a little bland in my opinion. Good, but just different. They sell cans of soda with your dinner, which was a little odd. We would probably go back. Very authenticate.

Ordered 18 tacos, 2 tortas, chips & guac. It was the hangry hour

Does this restaurant have any good vegetarian options?

They can do veg tacos, fajitas or burritos if you ask. I usually order the stuffed chile or the veg burrito.. both really good.

(1) The online prices are different than the actual prices. The lady's answer, "It must be an old menu." Not my problem, but you charged me more for every single item, so maybe it is my problem. I asked for a new menu- they didn't have one. Come on,now.....I guess so you can keep ripping your customers off (2) They don't tell you on the phone it is cash only. So you either have to leave and go to a bank or ATM that doesn't charge or pay the $2.25 fee, which sucks. (3) The food- I paid $30.75. I got 3 carnita tacos, 2 chicken tacos, the taco platter (4 ground beef tacos), 2 empanadas (beef) and rice and beans. The price sounds okay, right? NOOOOOOOOOO. GREASE CITY. THE GREASIEST MOST OILY FOOD I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. DISGUSTING TO OPEN THE PACKAGES AND ALL THERE IS ...IS GREASE ALL OVER MY HANDS, MAKING THE HARD SHELL AND SOFT SHELLS SOGGY AS EVER. What a disgrace to the art of cooking to have so much friggin grease. I could've went to White Diamond if I wanted to eat food that was going to give me a stomach ache. I am so very angry. I just called the place but they're conveniently closed. I wanted to bring this food back and tell them to eat it esp Bc the lady wasn't that polite. I'm attaching pictures so you can see that I am not exaggerating. At this point, it doesn't even matter what the taste of the food was, because I felt like I just bought from an expensive fast food place. I should've went to Taco Bell, but I wanted authentic tacos and the reviews from all these people really made me think it was good here. Bianca's - really bad business to serve people food with grease dripping everywhere. I don't think you care much about your customer's satisfaction, otherwise you would have a NEW UPDATED MENU ONLINE and you would never subject anyone to a heart attack w all this grease. Needless to say - I ate the hard shell tacos. Threw the soft shells out and used my own tortillas empanadas right to the trash can. I have a stomach ache and so does my bf. Just-from the hard shell tacos. First and very last time I spend any of my hard earned money here again. And Bianca's - I'll send you the bill for my dry cleaning since the ridiculous amount of grease dripped all over my shirt.

Our waitress was really sweet, she was young and seemed to still be learning but she did a great job. My friend ordered sangria and it was a bit late coming to our table, I believe they were just making that night's batch. The more experienced waitress actually comped it for the wait, even though we didn't mind and didn't complain. I thought that was really nice of her, considering we were getting delicious fresh sangria! The food was AMAZING. I don't even remember what my friend got because I was all encompassed into my meal. My spicy mango margarita was great, too. Their beer taps aren't hooked up yet, so only bottles or cans. The only downside to this place is location and price. Their prices are a little too high for its location inside of a Red Roof Inn. Its location off of the turnpike (exit 12, duh) may not bring your average neighborhood bar type person here. I wish the items on the menu were a few dollars less, say $16 for a chicken burrito instead of $19. However, I'd definitely say give this place a try. Wishing the best for them!
