I hired two sisters to clean our apartment in Berwyn after lots of construction, major nasty with Sheetrock dust. My wife and I have a unitbover that unit that was rehabbed as well. Well, I hired ALOT of people to do work. Half of them I was disappointed with. Floors had to be redone, tile redone, all of our tools were stolen, but who did the best job in all of this? I called them twice asking for a quote to clean my 1 bedroom condo in Forest Park. I got a call back from one of the owners apologizing for not calling sooner. We set up a tentative time for her to come look at my condo and she told me she'd call me last week to confirm the day and time. I never heard back from her. I will be looking for another cleaning service as a result. If that's how they respond before I'm their client, I'm concerned how it will be once I do become their client. read more

I have never seen anyone clean with such detail and thoroughness as this sister team. I needed my home cleaned before we put it up for sale and I was unhappy with the service I was using. Two Sisters did the entire house, from basement to windows. They cleaned in places my previous service probably didn't know existed (the microwave vent, behind the fridge, etc). They are hard working, honest, dependable and friendly. I can't wait till I am settled in my new house and can use them on a regular basis. I really can't recommend them enough. And their prices are very fair--as another poster mentioned, they don't charge by the hour, so there is no race against time and they don't miss a spot. read more

I'm not sure what went wrong, but I had a extremely disappointing experience. We had just purchased a home and hired Lorena and her team to do a clean of the home the day before we moved. She was very quick to respond via text and flexible with coming to see the house to provide a more accurate quote. We had the carpets professionally cleaned the day before the cleaning was scheduled, so it was really requesting a surface disinfecting/cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, and dusting in the bedrooms, which I recognize is still a lot. We were not present for the cleaning (which honestly may have been the issue) and had them enter using our lockbox . I paid the full amount without seeing the house, trusting that it had been cleaned as requested, per all the great reviews. I could not have been more wrong. When we got to the house the next day during our move, we were shocked by how it just didn't look like it had been cleaned... The bathroom sinks had build up in them and clearly had not been cleaned, the primary bathroom was not cleaned at all (I don't know how you would just "miss" doing it...) - toilet and shower were visibly dirty still. I had specifically asked all the kitchen cabinets to be wiped out so we would be able to quickly unpack things when we moved. I don't think a single cabinet/drawer was wiped or cleaned, as they all had build up inside. I am now having to take out everything one by one, since we unpacked things thinking they had been cleaned, and re-clean all the cabinets. Even the counter with the microwave had crumbs and build up on it showing there wasn't even an attempt to clean it. The inside of the oven had food residue, etc, again showing it had not been cleaned. The team was there, supposedly, 5-6 hours, and I am just genuinely confused on what was going on during that time given how little was actually done. In addition, we had left new rolls of paper towel, hand soap and big bottles of hand sanitizer in the kitchen so we could use it during the move, and the team either took it or tossed it all. I am not sure why anyone would throw away or take our belongings which were clearly brand new and there to be used. I did notify Lorena of my disappointment, and to be fair, she did offer to come back to re-clean or to refund money, but I declined. We had already moved in at that point and it would have been difficult to actually do the cleaning since there were boxes everywhere - hence why I had hired them to do it before we moved in. I didn't request a refund because I felt bad... but honestly, the more days that passed and the more things I found that had clearly never been cleaned, I kind of wish I had. I definitely got taken advantage of. Proceed with warning and definitely be present!! read more

We did not even got into cleaning and I had terrible experience with them. I moved to Chciagoland from the East Cost where I had a wonderful and responsible woman cleaning my apartment for several years. So finding somebody who does a great job and does not work for a company and thus cares a lot a client is important for me. I read all these wonderful reviews and called 2 sisters. First it took over 4 days to return my first call. Then we made two attempts to schedule an estimate. First time one of them called me 10 minutes later after the appointment time and said that they got a house to clean and wont be able to come that day. I am a busy working woman and have other activities, and therefor not at home all day long, I changed my plans for that appointment as they did not have many windows open. I still got it a second try. We scheduled another time, but, they did NOT showed up and did not even call me. Very irresponsible, highly unprofessional, disrespectful. It's OK to say that they don't take any new clients as apposed to wasting time of other people. read more

This is a long overdue review! I have known these sisters for several years. We were on a monthly schedule with them and I foolishly stopped because my schedule changed to working from home and I *thought* I could keep the house clean myself - I couldn't be more wrong! Fine, I was able to "keep up" with the bathrooms and vacuuming but never to the level of clean while we had Alondra and Maira coming each month! I finally made the wise decision to have the girls come back.. they were at the house for a deep clean from 10 am - 6:30 pm yesterday!! I can't even tell you how good the house feels. While hiring a cleaning service is a luxury, it is also a necessity (in my opinion) unless you want to spend all your time cleaning. Leave it to the pros to do it right! You will thank me later. As far as some of the negative reviews on getting ahold of them.. there are only two of them, and they are busy bees, so give them a break... I have never had issues scheduling. read more

I found Two Sisters on a local Mom's Mail mailing list when I was in a desperate situation. We found out that my 5 month year old daughter was allergic to our cat and we had to sanitize our entire apartment of cat dander from a year and a half. I called Alondra and Maira after calling Service Master and getting an outrageous quote. They were willing to come by and give me a much more reasonable estimate. We don't normally have a cleaning service so it was a new experience trying to explain everything that needed to be done. They went above and beyond to understand our needs and obtain the proper supplies and cleaning utensils needed to do this job. Everything had to be thoroughly wiped with microfiber cloths, walls steamed, mold removed and every piece of furniture, paper, or item moved and cleaned. They spent an entire 8 hours making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. They also treat your belongings with the kind of care as if it were their own and help you organize and declutter as they clean! They don't charge per hour so they take their time to do what they feel is necessary. The first time they come will be more extensive so that followup cleanings take less time. They are also adding laundry services to their offerings - I will definitely be using those in the future. I highly recommend this sister team! They are eager to expand their business and go above and beyond for their clients. read more

Through the four homes we've owned, we've been through numerous cleaning companies and none have delivered to the standard as two sisters. Seriously, it is rare for us to even like a cleaning company, never mind write about them on Yelp. There are two things that my wife constantly says about them - first, they always go above and beyond and it seems that with every visit, they find something to surprise and delight us with. Totally unexpected and things we don't ask for, they do. second, they are pleasant, friendly and communicative. This is important because if they do miss something, they make sure to never miss it again. They are always here when they say they will be. Not sure what we would do without them. I called two sisters cleaning after seeing these reviews on Yelp. I am so glad I did. This is a wonderful cleaning service and can meet almost any cleaning need you may have. They answered the phone when I called and came the same day to walk through my home and give me a quote. I was looking for a deep clean after having new lights put into our house. These 2 actual sisters, who are very professional and nice!, were able to fit my partial deep clean into their schedules the very next day. They brought a 4 person crew (all family) and worked exceedingly hard. They hand scrubbed shower floors and wall tile, cleaned out the refrigerator and oven-just to name a few parts of the overall clean. Nothing was broken and everything was put back in an organized fashion. The service was worth the very reasonable price. I have never seen my 1957 ranch house look so clean or sparkle as much. I like knowing that 2 Sisters can do a deep clean or ongoing regular services. I have already booked them for a second visit and highly recommend them. read more

We had.....shaking my head....tried Molly Maids after we had some construction done on our house...they did a bad job, but we gave them a second chance...they were worse! So we called Two Sisters based on their 5 star Yelp reviews. They were amazing! They did a thorough cleaning of our house and when I say thorough, I mean they even moved our refrigerator and cleaned under it.......we didn't even know we could move our refrigerator! We have 2 cats and a dog......when we walked in our house after they cleaned.....you couldn't find a single random hair anywhere..and we have all hardwood floors...our couch was pristine. Have you called them yet? They moved all the furniture and cleaned under the beds! Our dog has a couple of "new" toys that we thought were lost. Our oven and refrigerator look like we just purchased them. They even cleaned our windows. Whether you need construction cleanup or just really great house cleaning, Two Sisters are the ones you are looking for. You will not be disappointed. read more
