For me the greens were a little salty, and my mom felt like her bbq smoked chicken breast was a little dry. However we enjoyed everything else. My pork steak was very tender and the green beans had a good flavor. We've had fried chicken from them in the past and it was okay. They dropped it fresh (which was nice) just felt like it needed a little more seasoning. The fried fish is pretty good from there too. I'd say give it a try if you are in the parish. The beignets were warm, crispy, and covered in powdered sugar. It's hard to explain what they even tasted like because they were just that incredible. I ended up getting them again the next day--I genuinely want to make another trip out here just to have them again.
