I took my first step into hiring a home cleaning service, and MaidPro provided me with a great…read moreexperience. While I was annoyed to have to provide my info to get a quote for my home (and to provide my phone number as I assumed they'd call me and try to sell me things), I was happy to see that they respected my request for e-mail contact only. Within a day, I had arranged a time for a team to come two days later and clean only two rooms of my house (as requested by me). The contact, Jay, was super friendly and pleasant to work with without being pushy at all. He told me what they could do, an estimate of how long it would take, and told me ways to accomplish it. The day it was scheduled, I requested the team to come as close to noon as possible. While the company generally works in morning or afternoon time frames (as in, "will show up between 8am and noon" or "will show up between noon and 5pm"), they worked with my request, and the team was here by 12:15. The two women were very friendly, and they set right to work. It was honestly a bit impressive to watch them work. They've gotten cleaning and organizing down to a science. The cleaners went about their business, and as the end of their appointment was coming and they had finished what I wanted, they specifically came up to me and asked what else I'd like done. While I only had scheduled for them to clean the kitchen and bathroom, they also ended up vacuuming and doing some dusting in my living room too. I'm glad to see that they take take the "you hired us for a set time, we'll work the entire time" seriously! Not only that, but the cleaning job they did was pretty awesome. My bathroom looks almost perfect, and the spots that they couldn't get, they said was from hardwater build-up over time and the stains would be able to be cleaned over time if I kept at it with harsh cleansers. Otherwise, everything was great. They offered to take out the garbage and clean some far-up areas that I hadn't cleaned in awhile. Overall, a fantastic experience with Maid Pro - far exceeding my expectations. I'll likely be hiring their services in the future as well.

After sending my initial inquiry by e-mail, I received a phone call back from Mike within the hour. He was friendly and professional, and was able to schedule our inspection for a date that was only 4 days away from the date that I contacted him. Setting up the inspection was incredibly simple, and I really liked that all the pricing was clearly laid out on the website, so there were no surprises when he sent me the invoice. The inspection itself was extremely thorough, and the report was well-organized with all issues categorized by level of severity and accompanied by digital photos that clearly demonstrate exactly what was going on. Despite including an impressive level of detail, Mike had the report in my inbox within hours of leaving the property. To top it all off, 5 days later I checked my mail and was surprised to find a thank you card from Mike, letting me know that he appreciated our business and hoped we were happy with his service. Needless to say, this was an understatement.

I stupidly backed into my garage door while dealing with an emergency on the phone and being…read moredistracted... Not only was I embarrassed, but because of the emergency I needed to leave town immediately. Overhead door sent a serviceman the same day who fixed my door and not only got it closed for house security but also got it working so that it would go up and down so that the people staying and pet sitting could actually use the door and the garage! I was beyond pleased and amazed that they could fix it that fast! When I get home from my out-of-town emergency, I am contacting them and I'm going to get my garage doors replaced and upgraded. But I had to say something about the emergency service because it was over and above and if I could give 10 stars I would.!!!! I am extremely pleased and grateful and recommend overhead door without any reservations!!!!! This is the second time in the last decade that they have come to our house and an emergency service that went over and above expectations!!! Now I can't wait to see what they do when I pick out new doors and have them install installed!!! Although truthfully, I could use this door now, probably for several more years-- because they did an amazing job fixing it -despite my damaging it and ripping off several wheels .....it is working and truthfully, it's working beautifully... (But now I have to hide the evidence of my crashing into my own door so people won't make fun of me.....)

That was all fine except that when he came back did the job and gave me the bill there were 2 service call charges. I didn't feel that was right since it wasn't my fault they didn't have the parts to do the job right the 1st time he was there. When I wrote them a check to mail in, I told them if they really charge me 2 times with service charges then I'll never do business with them again. They didn't care, and ever since I use Christie's doors and they seem to value their customers more.
