Brittan and his crew did an awesome job moving us. They took great care of our stuff and our house. They made clear efforts to be polite and respectful - little things like making sure we went through doors first when talking to them. We had a bit of a complicated move, they made sure they understood our goals and executed them better than we could have. I appreciated that they would good through each room with us before and after items were moved to confirm they were doing what we wanted. They saved us money by efficiently stacking everything both in the truck and in our storage units. We thought for sure we wouldn't be able to fit everything - but there was room to spare when tetris master Brittan was done with it. This was a far more positive experience than I'd have ever guessed. I'm pretty die hard with DIY approach to everything but this was money well spent. read more

If I could give zero stars here I would. Our experience with this moving company was a nightmare. The movers showed up and were in such a hurry that they finished moving our five bedroom home in less than an hour. Red flag #1. After they left, my husband started going through the truck and saw that they had just placed things in the truck haphazardly and didn't stack from the bottom to the top so that there would be more room for other items. We realize that if my husband didn't intervene, half of our things were going to have to be left behind . My husband had to unload and load both the Pod and the truck, again, by himself. We were supposed to be on the road by noon. We got on the road at 9:30 that night. We ended up driving all night AND we arrived too late to move our things into the new home that has a strict HOA policy of moving only between the hours of 9 and 6 PM. So we couldn't move any of our things in until the next day. The folks that were supposed to help us move in that day weren't available the next day. This was a nightmare. These guys were terrible. read more

They did our move from a house we were in for 30 years , the 4 guys that we had were amazing they introduced themselves ask what we expected from them and showed respect to me and my husband and our belonging. we moved into a new build and did a perfect job to not damage anything in our brand new home. Starting with Mindy in the office: a very professional and hard working representative who makes a reassuring and knowledgeable first impression for White Glove Mover's in Marion. On the day of the move, the workers actually showed up a little early! All of them are very pleasant, hard-working and quick. I was amazed how much they accomplished in a short amount of time. There were a couple of small accidents--one involving a crack in the glass of a china closet door and another where a dolly dropped onto a wall causing a gouge and scrape. Both the workers and Mindy were quick to assure me that the repairs would be taken care of by White Glove, and so they were (up to a point). The cracked glass was beautifully replaced. While the gouge and scrape in my wall was quickly repaired by a professional, Mike, (the owner of White Glove), did not deem it necessary to finish the job by making an attempt to match the existing paint in the room. It has been left to me to bring home samples and purchase the paint to cover the repaired area. Mike's opinion was that the room would be repainted anyway. This may be true but I just wasn't planning on it this soon. If it wasn't for this little hiccup--I wholeheartedly would have given 5 stars. read more

White Glove did an excellent job of helping my family move recently. The rates are excellent, and the service is fast and efficient. Scheduling with them proved to be fairly flexible, and their minimum is only two hours. Our move was local, and they were able to relocate some additional things that were remaining on the premises. read more

I hired White Glove Movers to move a piano for us. I had a quote from another local mover that seemed insanely high to me. I contacted White Glove Movers and they responded quickly and accurately with a quote that was 1/3 the cost of the other moving company. Not only was the cost completely reasonable, but the movers were wonderful. The seller of the piano agreed as well - they were perfectly on time, clean, efficient, respectful, and careful. Missing boxes/totes. That's my biggest complaint. All but 1 of the movers acted like they didn't want to be there. They broke several of our items so badly they had to be thrown away. Wish I knew all that was missing especially before we tipped them so well. Will definitely not be using again nor will I ever recommend. read more

We had Josh and Colton come today to move furniture and appliances in preparation for new floors! They were awesome! It would have taken us forever to move all that they moved in just over an hour. This was by far the most horrible experience we've ever had with a moving company, and we've moved several times. I've never written a review of ANY company for any reason, but the service we received here was so completely awful, I feel the need to warn people. First, the movers didn't wrap or protect any piece of furniture before loading it. No plastic wrap. No blankets. Not a single furniture item wasn't scratched or otherwise damaged. We had an armoire that was a single piece when we bought it. After this move, it was sheared in half. Second, they disassembled several large pieces of furniture and then dumped them unceremoniously in our new home and didn't put them back together. My husband watched in horror as they dropped furniture off the truck and onto the concrete below without any consideration. They sheared a wheel off of our kitchen island. One of the guys got on my prize new bicycle (the tires were flat) and rode it around on the rims. I now need new rims. I have exactly one good suit. We found it in the basement pinned underneath some storage shelves. The list really is endless. And ongoing. We moved in August 2019 and as we've continued to unpack, we've discovered several other damaged items. I contacted the owner with my concerns and he came to our home to survey the damages. He apologized repeatedly for the shoddy work and asked how to make things right. We only asked that they either fix what was broken or replace it. They did fix what they could, which wasn't much. But they offered us a paltry $375 off our $2600 bill to replace all of our broken items - including two Christmas trees whose tops were inexplicably lopped off. $375 dollars didn't begin to cover the damages. When I tried to negotiate with the owner to work out a more equitable solution, he became openly hostile and just kept repeating that he "needed to collect our payment as soon as possible." We just wanted things "back to normal." We certainly weren't trying to get unreasonable concessions. By that time, I was so emotionally kaput, between the stress of the move and dealing with White Glove, that I just paid the invoice to make them go away. The one star I will give them is for their office manager who was truly gracious and handled our concerns professionally. That was the ONLY aspect of this nightmare that was handled professionally. Within a matter of minutes they had swapped our living room furniture with our basement furniture including a sofa, two chairs, end tables and a large sectional. We have used WGM twice in the last couple of weeks, once to move all our bedroom furniture into spare rooms, so that we could have the bedroom floor repaired, then to return the bedroom furniture once the repair was complete. On the first move, we had Sam and Colter do the moving, and on the subsequent move we had Keith and Colter. Both moves went perfectly. The guys were competent, quick, and cheerful. We could not ask for better service, and will certainly use this company for any future moving needs. read more

Andrew and Colton staffed my move yesterday (11.24.15). They were AWESOME and I can't say enough good things about them. Not only did they work fast and hard (not wasting one moment) but they were very careful with my things and placed all of my items directly where I requested in my storage garage. They were tied up on the interstate due to an accident and they were nice enough to call and let me know of the situation; I really appreciated that. They told me I wouldn't be charged for the delayed time too. I am absolutely using Andrew and Colton for my next move. read more

Stay away! It was raining the day of our move and they did not cover any of our furniture. They damaged a curio. One guy wore tennis shoes for the job and kept slipping on our steps. After telling the men not to go in the garage because it was raining...one guy went in any way and slipped. One guy also made a comment he didn't want to move some bookshelves upstairs. These were light bookshelves that we ended up carrying up the steps after they left. Also, we moved a bunch of stuff before the day they came and they still charged us for moving it. read more
