In making a claim to the insurance you pay for monthly at this storage, the insurance wants photos of the possibly damaged furniture. This rodent infested storage company will not monetarily assist with removing my furniture to obtain photos, nor have they offered to move my belongings out and address their obvious rodent infestation. Instead, storage management provides a copy of your contract that purports to absolve them from any responsibility in this matter. If there was a way to give this company a negative star rating I most definitely wouldn't hesitate to do so. When we arrived at our destination, the movers who unloaded (also with Two Men and a Truck) stated numerous times how terrible the packing job was. All heavy furniture was placed on top of boxes and totes, completely crushing many of the boxes. We had a damaged wagon, elliptical, sitting room chair set and more. I reported this to the company immediately (while I am only including pictures of one box and one tote, there were many that looked the same). I was offered a $250 refund. I explained that the damage was not the potential fault of the moving vehicle or driver; that had the truck been loaded properly and boxes not crushed by heavy furniture, damage would have been mitigated. This office manager was unwilling to do anything further. Please note- Two Men and a Truck Urbandale does not stand behind their work and if you have damaged items, you have zero recourse. Very unsatisfied with the way this office conducts business and treats their customers.

U-haul may be cheaper but it will just cause you sooooo many problems in the long run. I used this location to get a hitch and wiring installed. I ended up having to get the hitch FIXED and INSTALLED PROPERLY by Schuling Hitch Company off of 2nd and they had to do my entire wiring kit since U-Hauls never worked. Here's a back story and I'll try to sum it up. I called May 2019 to schedule a hitch and wiring. They were supposed to call me when the hitch was in but 2 weeks later, I still never got a call. I called back and they said they "forgot to order it." They reorder the hitch. 1 week later I call back in to find the hitch and this time, they can't find it in their stock. They order the hitch for the 3RD time. Fast forward 3 weeks and I finally get the hitch on. Unfortunately they didn't order the wiring kit that they should have when they ordered the hitch. They charged me overnight deliver for the wiring to be delivered BUT OH WAIT, they never got the kit so they have to order the wiring overnight again. (I am also coming in each time because they never called to tell me they never got it--inconvenient.) They finally get the wiring and this is June 3rd by the time I get it installed. So everything is hopefully good and everything is installed. I go to use my wiring a few weeks later and it isn't working (go figure). So, all of this time, money and inconvenience the wiring doesn't even work. I go back in and Ernaldo or Ernesto says that the wiring COULD HAVE BLOWN THE DAY HE INSTALLED IT. So I literally left the shop the day I got it installed without it even working. So they order the piece again. This time I NEVER heard back. I didn't hear anything each time I called and finally they would just put me on hold when I asked if they knew the status on the kit. I finally got it done by Schuling in September. They notice that on the right side, where my muffler is located, UHAUL DIDNT EVEN PUT THE SECOND BOLT IN THE HITCH!!! The guy said yeah you have to move the muffler so clearly they were lazy and didn't want to go through the extra work. So not only am I driving illegally without lights on my trailer but the freaking hitch isn't even bolted on correctly to my vehicle!! It is now January almost February and I am still trying to get a refund on the wiring kit that they took back and never reordered. I talked to uhaul in September and December and they said they were going to get me a refund but never did. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOLKS! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!! Also, I called back because I had been on hold for 33 minutes and the girl says "well I asked to put you on hold and you said yes" so I of course said, "yes but not for 33 minutes" and her response was "well sorry call back later" and literally hung up!! This place is so very frustrating and unprofessional.

First, the crew that moved me was nice. I hired them because they were local and had seemingly…read moregood reviews. However, they broke several big items. They broke a 6 drawer dresser (now the bottom 2 drawers are unusable because they broke part of the side that also had the back leg) , a headboard (completely snapped one of the legs off) and a 55" 4K TV (completely unusable, they cracked the screen). We have moved many times and I understand things happen, but I have never experienced the valuation process that they require. Basically asking for receipts of the item broken and how it got broken. Well, everything was fine and usable before your crew touched it and now it's not. I couldn't watch them while they moved everything and it's unrealistic to even ask that question. When things have been broken in the past with other movers, they made it right and paid to replace the items. They gave me about 30% of replacement value credited back. I still have to replace what you broke, but I'm responsible for the majority of the replacement cost. That's not good customer service. Also, if you have a Sleep Number bed, don't let them touch it. Mine still isn't right. Even though they told me that have had no issues and have moved a lot of them. Well, they don't see the issues because it's after they are gone when you notice there's a problem. I would not use this company again. I would give them .5 stars if I could.

I said I would only be at this place for a month and a half, if the dresser is going to damage anything, it can stay in the garage. They said they got it. After they were done, there was dirt all over the carpet, walls and doorways were damaged, but they never said a word to me. You can save money by taking your goods to their (trucking) yard, but it might not be feasible for you. I had to do it because my belongings were in a storage unit, and the storage facility wouldn't allow ABF to drop the trailer on their property. I saved enough to cover the cost of the Uhaul and labor to move our stuff from the storage unit facility to the ABF yard.
