First, the crew that moved me was nice. I hired them because they were local and had seemingly good reviews. However, they broke several big items. They broke a 6 drawer dresser (now the bottom 2 drawers are unusable because they broke part of the side that also had the back leg) , a headboard (completely snapped one of the legs off) and a 55" 4K TV (completely unusable, they cracked the screen). We have moved many times and I understand things happen, but I have never experienced the valuation process that they require. Basically asking for receipts of the item broken and how it got broken. Well, everything was fine and usable before your crew touched it and now it's not. I couldn't watch them while they moved everything and it's unrealistic to even ask that question. When things have been broken in the past with other movers, they made it right and paid to replace the items. They gave me about 30% of replacement value credited back. I still have to replace what you broke, but I'm responsible for the majority of the replacement cost. That's not good customer service. Also, if you have a Sleep Number bed, don't let them touch it. Mine still isn't right. Even though they told me that have had no issues and have moved a lot of them. Well, they don't see the issues because it's after they are gone when you notice there's a problem. I would not use this company again. I would give them .5 stars if I could. read more

I thought the guys were very nice, and polite. However, they spilt dirt in the garage left it and walked through it, which tracked on the light grey carpet. I said I would only be at this place for a month and a half, if the dresser is going to damage anything, it can stay in the garage. They said they got it. After they were done, there was dirt all over the carpet, walls and doorways were damaged, but they never said a word to me. Worst of all, they broke a leg on my dresser which I only had a year, and just set the dresser on top of it. I ended up very disappointed. read more

The main office was prompt and flexible with scheduling a date, time, and arranging overnight storage. It was very easy to record a thorough video inventory and I received my estimate a few days later. On moving day, the team arrived incredibly punctual. I met each of the crew and we went through the home together and discussed the items I would be moving myself and what they were to load up on the truck. Almost 2x longer than the estimated time later... the truck left... with a bill almost meeting the estimate I was given for BOTH moving out and in. Hence followed were the cleaning tasks and moving of items that were not taken by the team per company policies or state laws. The next morning, I texted the main office to communicate my disappointment with the estimate I received and signed. I also explained the consequences of the extended time spent for the move (i.e., very late night cleaning). The main office was very quick to ask about my satisfaction with the moving team and how the team could do better. I explained that I would have liked an accurate estimate and that I would have made other arrangements if I had received that accurate estimate. The main office offered 30-minutes off after explaining what an estimate is and stating that they must not have had a "full picture." I replied that I am fully aware what an estimate is, but this was not a 10% error... the estimate was off by almost 100%. I reminded them that they had all the information they needed to compile an accurate estimate with the video inventory. I also stated that the team did not take a few larger items that were INCLUDED in the estimate. I explained how I felt deceived and requested that I pay the estimate I received. I followed with stating that their company had been recommended to me and the referrer was startled by what was occurring. The office did not respond. The move into the house proceeded and after 1.25-hours and the truck already 1/2 unloaded, the team lead told me that the main office was sending out two more team members at no charge to me. Mind you, this was not communicated to me via text or email. The extra team members arrived an hour later. My bill was still 45% over the estimate. I posted a review on Google, where I described my experience along with my understanding at the time of when my realtor had also reached out to the company. Admittedly, there was a misunderstanding on my part regarding the timeline of events and I updated my post as soon as I was made aware of my mistake. However, the owner had already stated that I was "cruel" for wondering if sexism may have influenced how I had been treated. The owner also said that they were going to review what occurred to improve their company; however, it has been over a month, the company has not contacted me and have seemingly ignored my attempt at contact. This company has demonstrated lack of accountability and blame shifting (to me and the team). I do not recommend this company. I do not know if their erroneous estimate was from incompetence or purposeful deception or something else entirely, but their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unprofessional and crooked. read more

Andrew and his moving assostant, Noah, were prompt (even early due to their previous appointment going smoothly) and didn't hesitate jumping right in! Their eager attitudes and super friendly service has won my allegiance for the next time I need a moving crew. I sure wish more business owners were as "hands on" as Andrew. Very well done! Oh! I didn't even mention the excellent job wrapping each item in a moving blanket then stretch film to prevent damage. That was a nice touch and appreciated greatly. Hired this company to move us because they were Local, they had good reviews and we liked their story. After we booked them, we received a couple of emails saying how trained and safe their employees were, which was very reassuring. Three guys in early 20's showed up right on time in a 26' Budget Rental truck. All were polite (Caleb, Lincoln and Garrett). The beginning of the move was slow starting but they did pick up the speed a little. About 2.5 hrs into loading the truck, we had cleaning people show up who were hired to do a final clean for us. When the cleaning company walked in, they told us that they saw boxes in the truck fall. They also said that all three guys had been in the truck and when the last one left the truck he was running down the ramp. My husband walked out to the truck and Caleb was restacking the boxes that fell. My husband asked to see the boxes that had fallen - all were marked as "fragile" on all 4 sides and the top, and a tote. The contents of the tote were fine - although the tote itself was broken. The three boxes of fragile items didn't fare as well. Two of them that were also marked "Mom's China" had broken items - one was a tea cup and the other had several broken pieces of China. The third box was also marked as "glass" along with "fragile". That box contained what used to be a oil lamp that came from Sweden - and was 150-160 years old. I say what used to be because it no longer resembles an oil lamp. It is now about 1,000 chards of glass. And very honestly, I am unsure what else is/was in that box because I haven't been able to bring myself to look in it. None of the Blue Cow team apologized to me - although they did my husband. I called the Blue Cow office twice - about 20 to 30 minutes apart and no one called me back. Since we were half loaded we chose to let them continue because we had to be out of our place because the new owners were moving in the next day. At the end of the move, Caleb asked for payment and said he could take a check, cash or credit card. I told him I believed we paid with China. He demanded payment and said he was not authorized to take anything off of our bill and that we'd have to talk to his boss. I told him I had called the office twice and no one had called me back and it was now 5.5 hours later. He said he could get his boss on the phone. I urged him to do it. After a 5 minute conversation of him saying he was sorry for the unfortunate issues but sometimes things like that happen, he finally listened to what I had to say about what lead to the boxes falling and how they were stacked. He did comp the entire move. But - I would have paid double to have my stuff back. read more
