Whoever they were facetiming with, I'm assuming their manager, really made the situation horrible. First off, we were quoted $109 for 1/8 of a truck. They showed up with what looked like a U-Haul trailer instead of a truck, and it was already mostly full. I stated when I booked my appointment that I had 2 trash cans of construction debris that needed to be emptied, along with other items we needed hauled away. It was not a lot of stuff. The manager looked at our junk pile (facetime) and raised the price to over $200, then they refused to take the construction debris which is why I called in the first place. My wife convinced them to take one container, but they would only do so if we allowed them to take our garbage can along with the debris. Not a good experience, I should have read the reviews before booking them.

Old review: Very bad customer service, even to get a new customer! I called Ankeny Sanitation to obtain information about rates and pick-up days. A lady answered the phone and provided me with the rates, but refused to tell me what the pick up dates are. I asked if I could give her my address to know what are the pick-up days. She said that "it would be a lot of work and she has other calls from other customers." I told her that the pick-up day may have an impact on my decision due to convenience.
