I hired movers from the Clive, IA location. When they moved the refrigerator, the neglected to…read moreshut off the water to hose for the refrigerator. They knew it was leaking as they put towels on the puddle. I they never said anything to me. If they had, I would have shut the water off. The valve was right there. Then they left. That was 12:30pm. They unloaded the truck at my new residence and never said anything. The scratch up my bedroom door moving a table and never mentioned to me. At 4:00 am the next morning, I received a call from the Warren County sheriff's department. They were trying to reach me about a leak in my unit causing water damage to the ceiling of the unit below mine. They shut off the water for the whole building until I could return to my unit and determine what was leaking. It was the fridge hose still running. There was so much water damage to the unit below That she will have to replace her entire kitchen ceiling. When I called the manage of the Clive location, they said it is not their responsibility and he is not responding to my messages.

We were told by the manager that the movers knew how to pack fragile and expensive items such as…read moreoriginal paintings, bronze sculptures, glass items, etc. What a joke! They used many wardrobe boxes to save time and simply threw everything imaginable into these boxes. No paper, bubble wrap or any type of protection in these boxes. So far, I have found two framed prints with the glass broken. They slammed original paintings together with nothing in between to protect them. Light bulbs were broken because they simply took them out of the lamps and threw them in the boxes and placed heavy objects on top of them. Bronze sculptures were treated the same! We also have some valuable items missing including a cell phone and will hopefully find by the time we unpack the last box, but am worried since they didn't show up in the container they were placed in. I would never recommend Two Men And A Truck for moving!

We were picking this piano up from a residential location and moving it to our home- they communicated well with us and the family whose home we were moving it from - ensuring all parties were included and looped in. They had to pay their employee all of that time and they ended up holding the furniture overnight as the flooring wasn't finished until 10:30 PM. I was quoted about $700 to move my tiny studio apartment (just me, single veteran, no kids, one…read moresmall load of belongings) 1.5 hours north to a small 1BR house in Fort Dodge, IA. So here's a picture of my invoice, nearly double what they quoted me!! Not to mention a bunch of my belongings were damaged, and lost and never seen again! Plus I got stuck paying $1400 !!! I would have done it myself with a U-Haul trailer had I known you guys were going to get one over on me so damn badly! I had forgot about this invoice until I was cleaning and saw it pop out of my papers, so I felt the strong conviction to expose these people for what they are, and that is fraudulent!
