They were very knowledgeable and personable making an overwhelming experience a stress free one for our family. Worth every penny of labor and tip!

I would not recommend this company…read more When I booked my move, I was told that I could cancel the service as long as I did so at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Based on that information, I moved forward with the booking and paid a deposit. I cancelled my move several days in advance, well before the scheduled appointment, and received confirmation that the job had been cancelled. However, when I requested my refund, I was told I would not get my deposit back. I called multiple times asking to speak with a supervisor and was told someone would contact me. To this day, I have never received a call back. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely frustrating. As a single mother, I work very hard for every dollar I earn. I explained my situation and asked the company to honor the cancellation terms that were explained to me when I booked the service, but I felt completely disregarded. Had I been told that my deposit would not be refunded, I would have made a different decision from the beginning. My biggest issue is not just the money, but what I believe was misleading information during the sales process and the lack of follow-through afterward. Customers deserve clear policies, honest communication, and timely responses when they have concerns. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Cancelled September 17, well before the scheduled move date. I hope the company does the right thing and resolves this matter.

They used many wardrobe boxes to save time and simply threw everything imaginable into these boxes. No paper, bubble wrap or any type of protection in these boxes. So far, I have found two framed prints with the glass broken. They slammed original paintings together with nothing in between to protect them. Light bulbs were broken because they simply took them out of the lamps and threw them in the boxes and placed heavy objects on top of them. Bronze sculptures were treated the same! We also have some valuable items missing including a cell phone and will hopefully find by the time we unpack the last box, but am worried since they didn't show up in the container they were placed in. I would never recommend Two Men And A Truck for moving!

We were able to get a quote before hand for this job, they were very specific and detailed assuring we got the most accurate quote. We were picking this piano up from a residential location and moving it to our home- they communicated well with us and the family whose home we were moving it from - ensuring all parties were included and looped in. We got confirmation when they arrived to move it, when it was loaded and on our way- and confirm of delivery even though one of us was home at the time. They properly laid moving carpets and took their time to ensure there was no damage to our home or piano when moving. The care and attention to detail was appreciated. We'd recommend them again and again.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the guys that moved us were very friendly…read moreand polite on Day 1. Here is what went wrong: -They showed up with a truck not big enough to move our stuff so it took 2 days to move us. We had to be out of our house by the end of the 1st day, so the people moving in to our house had to wait to get in. -One of the 3 movers had to leave for a family emergency and they never replaced him, which made that much more work for 2 guys. -When they came back on the 2nd day the guys complained the whole time because it was supposed to be their day off and commented several times that they hadn't planned to be working that day. -They quoted us a price based on a walk through they did of our home and the final price was almost $650 higher than the quote, they said it because there was more items than originally thought and because we had changed dates. I guess I didn't realize that changing dates resulted in an increase in price. -We moved into a newly constructed home. The movers damaged walls, bannisters, and woodwork. When we asked them about it, they told us if they would have done that, they would have noticed it. Apparently not. -They ripped our leather couch. When we tried to contact them about it, we never even got a response back. Very poor service. Despite the guys being friendly on Day 1, I would not ever hire this Company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

The movers constantly complained about moving things (aka doing their job), and flatly refused to move certain things. They also wasted a tremendous amount of time telling us all the things they couldn't/wouldn't do and argued with us about all these items. They also just quit loading things with plenty of space left in the truck on the last load because they claimed we were running out of time when I knew we weren't. When I pressed them on that, I was told, "you think it just takes 15 minutes to unload all this shit from the truck?!" Very professional. I was argued with, sworn at, ignored when I tried to talk to them and give instructions, and just generally treated in a terrible manner, all the while my wife and I were loading the truck right along side them, working just as hard (if not harder) than them. They were also very careless with boxes, leading us to hide a few marked "fragile" because they weren't paying any attention. In the end I will say the worst of the crew personally apologized to me, and some of our money was refunded but it was way too little way too late. We are now left with several large items, the very things we hired "professionals" to move and really no way to move them, and no recourse other than to write this review. I completely regret hiring Siddal Moving, and not only would I never hire them again but I will specifically tell others not to hire them.
