I was afraid our move was going to be a disaster. The company we originally hired ended up walking off the job (Bos Moving). This left us hanging, with two days to turn our home over to they new owners. When I contacted your office, your dispatcher was able to arrange a crew with less than 24 hours' notice. Your people showed up right on time. They asked if I would prefer that they remove their shoes before doing their walk-through. I said yes, and thanked them for asking (this was apparently the conflict with the Bos crew--who gave no explanation before disappearing). Your crew then explained how we could protect our very light-colored carpeting during the move. They provided sticky-backed carpet runner at a nominal charge and even rolled out padded runners on our hardwood floors at both homes. They carefully wrapped all our furniture and used movers' blankets to protect everything. Our move was complicated by the fact that not all of our things were going to the new home--we're downsizing and needed to sort our donations from our regular things. They carefully noted which items were which. After unloading all our belongings at our new home, they followed me to the charity thrift store to drop off those items we were getting rid of. In addition to interacting respectfully and courteously with me, they also treated the thrift-store staff the same way. You should be proud of people like Hunter Stanley and Wayune Wright. Used 2 Men and a Truck last Thursday to have a home move. This was a big move and these guys did Great. I highly recommend this company and Jay and Cory. Very consiencious, focused and worked well as a team. Jay's experience and skills were well used in this move, managing some difficult layout challenges and large furniture. Cory followed Jay's lead and also took the initiative when called to. They both had positive attitudes and even though it was a full 12 hours they were very upbeat and pleasant right to the end. (It was quoted 7-9 hours - but they never made any comment or complaint when the unloading continued into the night.) (Also, this had nothing to do with their end - it was just a lot of difficult pieces to move.) The two worked well together and seemed to enjoy each other's company as they worked. They showed up very timely, calling in advance to confirm their arrival. They went right to work and were always very professional. Would highly recomend the company and also these two great guys. Also on the coordination end of things the staff was awesome. When I had to cancel twice because of logistics on our end they were very pleasant and accommodating only ask what else they could do for us and to call if we needed anything. The third time was the charm and they were able to squeeze me into that week's schedule even though I was calling last minute. This company rocks! read more

My experience on 11/30/15 with Proffitt and Bobo was phenomenal! First, they were on time and got straight to work. The move was suppose to go smooth (so you think), but under the circumstances we ran into a slight skism(not their fault), and they still managed to make this move as stress free as possible for me and my boys. They handled all of my furniture with great care and even wrapped the things 'they' thought would get damaged. The guys truly exceeded my expectations to the point I bought them dinner! Even after their work was done, they help put the big items in place. Right now I am trying to hire these two gentlemen to go to Las Vegas and move my mother back to Michigan. I can honestly say that I'd trust them with mother's belongings. She's a senior citizen and all of her possessions have some sentimental value. I can't wait. Thanks guys!! I can't say enough good about this company, especially Tyler Young, Tobias Casillas & Austin Bell. Due to chronic illness, my house was a disaster of a mess & I was failing miserably trying to pack. But then Tyler & Tobias came in to pack my things. They had control of the situation from the moment they arrived, accomplishing the impossible - they actually put my mind at ease for the first time since I knew I would be moving. They worked nonstop and did an amazing job. Same with Austin, who joined the team for the move. I have limited space and a ton of stuff, but somehow these guys made it work beautifully. They were professional, expert, courteous, and just plain nice. I swear I've never seen anyone work as hard as these 3 guys did! We were worried...we recently moved from the middle of the State two hours west to the Lake Michigan area. We had 41 years worth of furniture and heavy storage pieces that my husband inherited from the family farm. Brandon and Zach could not have been more helpful, and Dustin did all that he could to ease our concerns! The men took great care when packing our belongings and smiled even though our computer cabinet weighed a ton! When we arrived at the new house they demonstrated as much energy and care as they did earlier in the day. Brandon and Zach communicated with us constantly, asked appropriate questions and demonstrated complete professionalism. I would recommend us as customers do our part. Two Men and a Truck - Clarkston was a pleasure to work with from the moment Ashley answered my call thru the move. The rates were very reasonable, as was scheduling the day and time for the move. I received notifications of the arrival time and again when they were 10-15 minutes out. Ashley was always very professional, kind, and understanding at the same time. This office is well represented by her and sets the tone for the entire transaction. Team Kempski, Ross, & Howell were the team of movers assigned to me. They treated the gentleman and items they were moving with care and respect whilst moving him out and into his new residence. We called Two Men and a Truck in Waterford when our initial mover plans fell through at the last minute. They were very accommodating and were able to squeeze us in after just 2 days. The two movers who came were very professional and and careful when moving the furniture to minimize damages. There is no noticeable damage to any of our things. They kept us updated about their whereabouts and arrival time via telephone. Packing up a 1300sq ft home took about 4-5 hours and delivery was done the next day for a 300 mile move. Unpacking also took about 4-5 hours. The price given was fair according to other estimates we had received and was based on weight so ended up being less than the original quote given to us. The movers were also very responsive to our requests for where to transfer furniture, etc. I would highly recommend them. read more

Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, we were fortunate enough to have Ejuan, Christian and Brandon help us move from Oxford to Clarkston. I do not have the words to properly express how wonderful they were. Alex from Two Men and a Truck just called and I told him all the check boxes you can think of, they filled. My only regret is we didn't have them move more of our things instead of thinking "oh, we're close we can handle some of this stuff". NO - Let these crews take care of all of it for you. They did not waste anytime the entire day...all 11plus hours of it! They unloaded and placed each item in the new space and put together anything that they had taken apart. And that was quite a bit!
