Bill was very nice, he arrived on time and as far as dumpsters go, it was pretty clean. He did not have the size available that I wanted so he brought a larger dumpster at no additional charge to me. I was in need of a dumpster for getting rid of some old furniture and a house clean-up the week of Thanksgiving and I like to work with local folks whenever I can. I found a couple of dumpster services online and called around. I also asked a friend who had a commercial business that used dumpsters and he told me that BT's prices were comparable to others in the area. I spoke to Bill at BT Commercial Services. He was very friendly and was able to deliver us a 20 foot roll up dumpster was the same day. The dumpster was clean and had nice big wheels, so it fit right up on our driveway and I am glad that it did not look dirty or junky and was excited to be able to start our project. Then, unfortunately, my husband got really sick and because of the Thanksgiving holiday, we were not going to be able to start work on our project until Saturday. I was in a panic because the dumpster was supposed to be towed away on Saturday and was worried that we could not get everything into the dumpster in time. I called and Bill was able to work with me and we changed our pick-up date to Monday. He could have said no, and taken away an empty trailer, but instead, we got all of our stuff hauled into the dumpster (we filled it to the brim!) When we finished filling the dumpster, we called Bill and by the time we got home on Monday, he had hauled it away. I understand that he also tries to recycle things that people have hauled away and I like the idea that things don't just go into a landfill. I just hired Bill for the second time. This time it was for a cleanout of my parents basement. From start to finish he was the epitome of professional. My mother has been ashamed and embarrassed for 20+ years of the dire situation that is their basement because of a hoarding problem by others in the house, and it just became a catch all for everything. So Bill was the first (and only) person I thought of when it was time to get the job done and we all couldn't be happier. Bill and his crew worked 2 long days (10 hours each day) and it wasn't just them taking things and putting them in a dumpster. The first day was mostly sorting through items, setting things aside that were questionable as to whether or not to keep or toss. They even recovered $65 and handed it over to my mom. We never would have known and it would be easy for them to just pocket it. They also found some old family photos and made sure to go through everything to make sure nothing valuable was tossed. We were getting ready to start a fairly big renovation project and had to complete the demo work in a short amount of time. I needed a dumpster on short notice and after reading all of the positive reviews, decided to call Bill. He was able to get a dumpster delivered that Saturday and made the process easy. Although we estimated needing the dumpster for a week, Bill let us keep in until the following Tuesday, and when I found out a truckload of building materials were being delivered that morning, he rearranged his schedule so he could pick up the dumpster before our delivery arrived. The fact that Bill and his team go through the dumpster contents and recycle or reuse what they can is a bonus. We hired Bill to drop off a dumpster for us so we could fill it and then he came and hauled it away. It couldn't have been any easier and worked great for our busy scheduled. Let for work in the morning and came home to the dumpster so we could spend the weekend loading with items the previous homeowner left us. We contacted Bill after calling a few other places for quotes. We were removing a bunch of sod from a yard and didn't realize the quantity and weight of what we had gotten into. Bill was able to get us a dumpster the same day that we called\emailed him and was MUCH less than the quoted prices from the other places that we had called. He was very flexible on placement of the dumpster, pickup of the dumpster and we also like the fact that he is someone who tries to reclaim\recycle instead of just dumping in a landfill. I saw earlier reviews about Bill of BT Commercial, and they were all favorable. I had my fingers crossed that he could solve several small issues. I had a somewhat strange situation that I'd moved, done a lot of construction, and had "inherited" a lot of stuff from the previous owner (who was elderly and lived out of state). I had everything from literally 14 broken or useless old brooms, dustpans and mops to ancient roofing and flooring materials as well as leftover construction materials. I was trying to get all of the stuff hauled away to be junked, recycled or re-homed. I took a chance and called BT Commercial Services. Bill returned my call promptly, and he came out in short order and at my convenience to look over the job. He offered some more cost effective suggestions to get some of the stuff out, but as I've been dealing with a back issue for several months, my ability to move the stuff myself was limited. He showed up in the time frame upon which we'd agreed, and he was great about confirming times with me. I thought that his pricing was fair, and I'm very pleased with the process and results. I contacted BT Commercial Services when we needed to get rid of a big pile of concrete chunks that the previous owners of our house had saddled us with. I had already gotten quotes from 1-800-GOT-JUNK and College Hunks Hauling Junk. They couldn't give me an exact price over the phone, and they make appointments to bring a truck out to haul the stuff on the spot, instead of sending someone out to look at it first and provide a free estimate. This is kind of a high-pressure tactic which makes me uncomfortable. Sure, it's a no-obligation estimate, and you can tell them to take their truck and go away, but what do you think most people do when there is a truck sitting there to haul away their junk immediately? I bet that they usually say, okay, and just bite the bullet on the high cost. BT Commercial Services, on the other hand, was straight up with me. He gave me an immediate estimate over the phone, then stopped by to look at what I had, and said it would even be a little less ($10 less) than he originally quoted. He had a different method which was to haul it in a dumpster pulled by a pickup, rather than send out a big, expensive truck. In fact, potentially it might have cost no more with the services I mentioned, but the uncertainty of it -- not knowing if I'd have to pay for half a bedload, or a full bedload (a full bedload being VERY expensive) made me feel uncomfortable. After he came over and gave me the quote, and I agreed to it, he went out of his way to obtain and bring over an empty dumpster the same day. I originally needed a dumpster for some demo work friends were doing for me and selected BT for that job because of the quick response from and friendly yet professional approach Bill uses for his work. He likes what he does and does it well. When he says he'll be there, he's there. When he says you'll never know the dumpster was ever on your driveway, the care he uses makes sure that happens.
