Customer Service needs improvement: As a homeowner do it…read moreyourself we I've been going to Eagle Landscape for about 20 years off and on. Have purchased 20+ yards of various stone, dirt and sod for my property. They are definitely a business minded no frills. Recently I needed a very small amount of paver stone, a type you can't get at the big box stores, they wouldn't let me fill a few 5 gal buckets and pay them for that amount. I was told I had to purchase a yard. Seriously? Who does that? They said they don't know how to charge me for that amount. Called around the area and found a friendly supplier that will let you "bag your own" - that's good service! Moving on from Eagle.

Destructive, Do Not Hire…read more I don't like giving bad reviews, but I had to give this one. My ex-wife hired Boxx Boys to move her personal items out of my house a week ago. During the move, the team drove their moving truck onto my lawn in the rain and damaged my lawn with their truck and furniture dolly. Worse, they brought their dolly into the house and used it on my vintage hardware floors without putting anything down to protect them first. The floor is now permanently scratched in the pattern of the dolly's wheels. I'm not sure if my ex-wife has contacted them yet to file a complaint, but I thought the Yelp community should know about my experience with this company. If this company is truly better than the team they sent, I hope they'll contact me to make amends. If they do so, I will post an update here so the community can see how this company responds to negative reviews. If they do not, then I'll post this review to other sites to ensure that people understand what they may be risking if they hire Boxx Boys.

My go to rug cleaner! We have wood floors in our home so that means we have a ton of area rugs…read more Never had them clean before and felt it was the time to do them. Called and was told that I can bring the rugs to the store in Oak Park or the truck will come to my home and pick them up. I opted for the truck coming to my house to get them all. If you drop them off at the store they gave a discount. Be prepared to wait though! Lots of waiting for a phone call for them to update you on the progress of your rugs. I think overall from my first phone call to the rugs being re-delivered took over a month. Their communication was pretty good - they called to let know the status of my rugs and if I wanted certain extras like a stain resistant coat. The guys who came to get our rugs were professional and quick. They took 4 big area rugs and a hall runner. They never told you a price until the guys put all of your rugs back where they go in your home. So I wish they were more upfront about the price. The price was worth it based on how clean my rugs looked - they all looked new. All the stains and marks were gone! The guys who came to put the rugs back were patient with me trying to remember how the rugs were laid. Pro tip to take pictures of how your rugs were laid before they take them. They also would move my furniture so my husband and I could shuffle the rugs back in place.

I recently removed four trees from my backyard and needed the stumps removed. I called around to…read moreseveral different places but the Tree Pros were the only people that one, called me back and two, gave me a fair price. I submitted a request online, talked to them shortly after, and he actually stopped by my house, while I was at work, about an hour later and gave me the final quote of $100 for the removal of the four small stumps. I was in communication with the same guy via text message for several days, I think his name was Mike. We went back and forth for a while but I couldn't get him to lock down a date. I told him several times that I was hosting a party at my house on Friday so he needed to come before then or after. He finally told me I was on the schedule for Monday. Friday afternoon I get home from work about 3:30pm and the tree stump removal guy was at my house. I was very confused and unimpressed with the communication amongst the people who are all supposed to be working together. I ran outside and told the guy I was on the schedule for Monday and he said, "Ok, well I'm here now why can't I just do it now?" That is the right answer. He assured me that it would only take 10 minutes and he wouldn't leave behind any mess. I agreed and asked him who I was supposed to pay, he said I was supposed to pay the guy who took the tress down (that was me) and then asked me how much I agreed to pay (I could have made up any number) so I wrote him a check.

They offered me a larger crew and more flat rate time for less money than any other movers I talked to, and I talked to just about all of them in the area. Come moving day, I received a call from the crew to give me an ETA which was actually earlier than their promised time. They got to work right away hauling my stuff to their truck. The crew was friendly and very helpful, and in about two hours they had me loaded, moved, and unloaded. Honestly I think the move went about as smoothly as it could. I would highly recommend Juggernauts to anyone who needs a moving company.
