After second attempt to repair this lift gate he proposed to replace the pin. He did that for another $270!!! Welded piece of metal on the side. Very unpleasant experience and the cost is surprisingly high! Ive been in the industry for 5+ years now and my only regret was not going to him sooner. I would bring my truck to a shop previously and it would sit for days sometimes weeks on end. The amount of downtime and outrageous shop rates are enough to drive anybody's business down the drain. Working with KJ repair now, i know that weather I'm on the side of the road stranded ( like in the photo from the other day) or parked up for home time my trucks are going to be taken care of without breaking the bank and without me having to drop my truck off anywhere and wait around on it. Needless to say, this is the only mechanic i use now. Every repair I've ever needed major or small, i can always count on being back out there within the same day or next day.
