The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. Nowadays, I don't frequent J&T as often (we lease most cars), but every now and then we need an oil change, inspection, or...ya know, I hit something. But when I come here, I know I'm getting honest and truthful work from local guys who really connect with their customers. Whether it's talking to Billy, Scott, Scott's son John, or any employee, you feel like you're getting a group of workers who care (and care for your car!). It took less than a day for the scratches to be buffed out and now my aging car looks like it has a facelift. The mechanics here didn't smoke in my car or drive it around to waste my gas, which is what happened when I had to bring my car in a few months ago at a different place. Dave recently solved a nagging but known problem with my son's '15 Infiniti Q40. The car would take on water every time there was a steady rain. My son had taken his car to several mechanics but the problem was never resolved. Apparently the leak was a known problem with Infiniti's sunroof drain system. The outlet would easily get clogged by dirt and falling debris. Rather than simply blowing out the dirt and debris with a water or air hose like the other mechanics my son used, Dave was the only one who thought outside the box and re-ran the sunroof drain lines from both sides of the sun roof and connected the two hoses into one using a T valve and running the one single drainage hose out the car via the AC outlet. Happy to report that it's been 6 or 7 months now and the car which is parked uncovered in my driveway full-time, is now bone dry even after some very heaviest days of rain.
