I called Mercedes to see if they do body work and they recommended me to a collision place "they use". After reading their reviews, I knew I was NOT going there. I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. The body is shiny and brand new looking and they also left a tube of paint just in case:). I highly recommend A Touch of Class Collision. Gabe is super and the staff is amazing. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and my "girl" my car:). Juliana M

We took off a star because the end cost was more than double the initial estimate. We were initially quoted $700 for the work based on the pictures I sent, and after a phone call when I explained the issues, he said give or take $200 more, but in the end, we had to pay $1,500 (plus a $100 tip). Dino explained that this was because there was some work needed that wasn't visible in the photos I sent. It might still be a good price overall compared to what I'll pay at the body shop, but for other potential buyers, just make sure you send all the photos of the things that need repairing so that you don't get surprised by the end cost.

They literally held my car hostage, wanting over $4,000 for storage fees which broke down to $175 a day! They would not take calls from my insurance company, nor would they return calls. The adjuster was unable to get to see my car. No one was ever available to speak with and, at one point, they actually wanted me to agree to paying them $1,000 AND sign over my title to them! After 25 days of them holding my car hostage, the insurance company told them I had had enough & was going to contact ABC News, News12, and retain an attorney. I also went to the village clerk's office & registered a complaint. That's when they finally released my car. I have advised the Village of Lynbrook of the situation and have asked them to NOT renew their tow license. These guys are despicable, disgusting crooks & I have no idea how they sleep at night. They would never stand for their wife/daughter/mother ever being taken advantage of they way they tried to take advantage of me.

If you are reading the reviews about Mid Island Collision Centers, then you are most likely a car…read moreenthusiast like me looking to give your vehicle the very best care you can get. In my 50+ years of owning nice cars, I have always been meticulous about the paint and overall condition of my vehicles. I have unfortunately had to deal with accident repairs and each time I was uncomfortable leaving my pristine vehicle in the hands of a chaotic and dirty shop with employees to match. I worried I would come out with new surface scratches or stains inside the vehicle while concerned the mechanical, panel and paint work would be just like new again. I know this is not an easy business, but their goal is to maximize profit while mine was to restore my vehicle properly and carefully. With only 214 miles on it, I had damage to my brand-new Lexus es 350 Ultra Luxury in Eminent Pearl White driver door. I researched the internet and spoke to friends in the auto insurance business asking them where they would take their car. Mid Island came up every time and they are Lexus OEM Certified ! This certification gave me the final confidence to engage with them. Their shop was 50.1 miles away from my home, but this did not matter as I was seeking the best in the business not the nearby neighborhood body shop. Upon arrival at Mid Island in Rockville Centre, I was impressed by the size and setting of the buildings, yes buildings. It was immediately apparent; this is not your usual body shop. I was greeted by Brian the Manager in the office area, which was clean and neat. Brien is a complete gentleman, the shop was not disorderly and inside were far more expensive cars than mine. In conclusion, the work exceeded my high expectations. It came out BEAUTIFUL. Both my car and I were treated with respect and TLC and while I hope never to need body work again, I will only return to Brain and Mid Island Collision. For all of the above and more I am pleased to give them a 5 Star review.

From the moment it arrived, Chelsea was incredible to work with. She acted immediately to get everything moving and made sure the process was handled quickly and efficiently. While others involved in the process were slow and delayed, Mid-Island Collision was the complete opposite. They stayed on top of everything and kept me informed every step of the way. I received constant updates through text messages and emails about the status of my car, which made the entire experience stress-free. The staff there is absolutely amazing and truly goes above and beyond for their customers. When I picked up my vehicle, not only was the repair done flawlessly, but they also took the extra time to detail the car beautifully. It honestly looked better than when I dropped it off. If you're looking for quality work, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Mid-Island Collision Centers in Lynbrook. They delivered a top-tier experience from beginning to end. Five stars all the way.
