I called Mercedes to see if they do body work and they recommended me to a collision place "they use". After reading their reviews, I knew I was NOT going there. I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. The body is shiny and brand new looking and they also left a tube of paint just in case:). I highly recommend A Touch of Class Collision. Gabe is super and the staff is amazing. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and my "girl" my car:). Juliana M

Hey Folks: If ya…read moreever need a top shelf Autobody shop, please check this out: Kudos across the board for all my dear friends at The Collision Star for the superior work that they do. I've been a satisfied customer of 5 Star Collision/The Collision Star and/or Merrick Road Collision since approximately 2009. I've brought each of my MASSAPEQUA LEXUS 2010 LS 460; my 2015 BMW X5; my 2016 BMW 750 iL XDrive and now my 2020 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER XLE at least once, if not more times to these great bodyshops. (Please note, all of my cars were hit/dinged by other folks!). There's a reason so many dealerships send their scratched/dinged cars here....THEIR WORK IS AWESOME AND TOTALLY METICULOUS!!! I totally trust Roy and his crew 1,000%. I drop off my cars; Miss Lisa arranges with Lynbrook Enterprise for a pickup from the Shop; I'm in a rental, and honestly never even give my damaged new cars a second thought. Roy 'n Lisa, from time-to-time, give me updates, just to keep me in the loop. I'm cognizant of the fact that these great people (Roy; Lisa; Curtis; Bobby, etc., etc., deal with Insurance adjusters; parts distributors et al. while making sure my new cars get nothing but new parts, and the same factory paint color that I originally picked out. It's truly stress-free for customers like me. My time is spent running my Luxury Real Estate concern. When Lisa/Roy call me, I don't have to do anything, but return to The Collision Star at 162 Earle Avenue in Lynbrook, NY; drop-off my Enterprise car right at the shop, and pickup my Whip in pristine condition. Bobby truly left me in good hands with Roy....as he and the guys at The Collision Star offer stellar craftsmanship in their bodyshop work. They do not miss a trick! They truly are artists!!! I'm always going to deal with The Collision Star/Merrick Road Collision firms. Their work is head 'n tails above the competition, and they treat me like family!!! I always tell folks about the high quality of their meticulous work, and their uber professionalism. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all, so very much, for everything that you've done for me recently, as well as over the years. My car looks and drives like brand new....God bless all, and please be safe....we need you guys!!! Sincerely, P. J. Laurence Carroll A.K.A. MR. BIG RED

If you are reading the reviews about Mid Island Collision Centers, then you are most likely a car…read moreenthusiast like me looking to give your vehicle the very best care you can get. In my 50+ years of owning nice cars, I have always been meticulous about the paint and overall condition of my vehicles. I have unfortunately had to deal with accident repairs and each time I was uncomfortable leaving my pristine vehicle in the hands of a chaotic and dirty shop with employees to match. I worried I would come out with new surface scratches or stains inside the vehicle while concerned the mechanical, panel and paint work would be just like new again. I know this is not an easy business, but their goal is to maximize profit while mine was to restore my vehicle properly and carefully. With only 214 miles on it, I had damage to my brand-new Lexus es 350 Ultra Luxury in Eminent Pearl White driver door. I researched the internet and spoke to friends in the auto insurance business asking them where they would take their car. Mid Island came up every time and they are Lexus OEM Certified ! This certification gave me the final confidence to engage with them. Their shop was 50.1 miles away from my home, but this did not matter as I was seeking the best in the business not the nearby neighborhood body shop. Upon arrival at Mid Island in Rockville Centre, I was impressed by the size and setting of the buildings, yes buildings. It was immediately apparent; this is not your usual body shop. I was greeted by Brian the Manager in the office area, which was clean and neat. Brien is a complete gentleman, the shop was not disorderly and inside were far more expensive cars than mine. In conclusion, the work exceeded my high expectations. It came out BEAUTIFUL. Both my car and I were treated with respect and TLC and while I hope never to need body work again, I will only return to Brain and Mid Island Collision. For all of the above and more I am pleased to give them a 5 Star review.

From the moment it arrived, Chelsea was incredible to work with. She acted immediately to get everything moving and made sure the process was handled quickly and efficiently. While others involved in the process were slow and delayed, Mid-Island Collision was the complete opposite. They stayed on top of everything and kept me informed every step of the way. I received constant updates through text messages and emails about the status of my car, which made the entire experience stress-free. The staff there is absolutely amazing and truly goes above and beyond for their customers. When I picked up my vehicle, not only was the repair done flawlessly, but they also took the extra time to detail the car beautifully. It honestly looked better than when I dropped it off. If you're looking for quality work, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Mid-Island Collision Centers in Lynbrook.
