When I was there I only saw 2 ppl working, but they were hustling to help customers at the register. There was a short wait, but I didn't trip...there were only 2 ppl so.... They had the part I needed, although the worker almost gave me the wrong part, realized his mistake and gave me the right one. He was friendly and helpful. Don't come here not knowing what you need. If you need a part, go online first and see what you need before you make the trip. It will make it easier when you get to the store. Outside looks a bit cluttered with discarded auto parts, not very clean. It's because ppl fix their cars in the parking lot, and don't clean up. The area might seem sketch cuz it's right by the BQE overpass, and there are mechanic shops nearby, but you'll be fine it's safe. The people are cool, with some long-time residents who can really chat up a storm and give tips about bikes, shops, rides. The entrance might be a bit small so big bike people may have to be gentle in getting their bikes in/out. Reasonably priced for Manhattan parking space. If you live in the area, it's a no brainer. Even if you don't live in the area, you'll find that it's still a nice garage to park in. There are a few people who don't even live in New York who park their bikes here.
