Fish and chips, carne asada taco, shrimp taco, side of Spanish rice, Cali burrito (with chips) and a side of fries.

Sat outdoors - love the vibe sitting out there - the bars on the windows actually look pretty cool and other that I could see the trash cans from where I was sitting, I liked seeing the outdoors. Also love all the TVs for you to watch sports or whatever else is on TV. The music videos that were on were cool and had me reminiscing about the good old days while eating dinner. Really liked the wooden bowl and plates to eat from. The salsa was really good - a great salsa tells me the restaurant has high hopes. The colorful chips that went with them were good also but they cost an extra $3. Boo! My husband got the loco coco drink which was made poorly at first but they quickly remade it without us even saying anything. Appreciated that. I got the bubblelicious lemon drop which was delicious. For dinner, everything we got was pretty good. The carne asada taco was great and the shrimp taco was ok. Think the tortilla was too thick for me. My family gave their dinners an all thumbs up though. Really liked their salsas which were pretty impressive. All in all, a great visit that was close to home and my family wants to go back.

We recently visited Two Frogs in Upland, a fairly new restaurant that's been open for about six months, and we had a great experience. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. Our server was attentive and kind, and the manager also stepped in to help, which made us feel well taken care of. For starters, we ordered the nachos--and they were delicious, not to mention a generous portion. I ordered the sliders as my meal, and they were excellent: super tasty and absolutely scrumptious. My husband had the fish and chips and said they were delicious and full of flavor. Our son ordered the California burrito and loved it--great size and very satisfying. We will definitely be returning. Bonus points for the drinks... they are stiff (in the best way ). Highly recommend checking this place.

Great place. Fun ambiance and friendly servers make for a great place to get together with friends for drinks and good food. They have a good selection of appetizers, tacos, burritos, salads, and burgers and a great drink menu. Sidenote: someone in my party asked for a side of sour cream to go with their burrito and the server informed us that it is an extra $3 charge for a side of sour cream. We politely declined, but we did think it was excessive for a small dollop of sour cream

Came to celebrate a friend's birthday. Amanda, our server was amazing but sadly, customer service was a little off. We were a table of 7 and were only given 4 paper plates and 6 napkins. At one point, I had to get up and ask for more napkins, I was only given 2. Drink service was okay, except for waitress, walking by twice to the other side of the room with a drink that belonged to our table. Food service was slow and a little off, one meal came after everyone else finished their respective meals. Chicken wings were just okay, I would definitely not order again! I understand it was a Friday night, wasn't that busy when we first got there, but definitely was when we left around 9:30 pm.

Great place to watch a Dodger game or any sport with all the TV''s. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!! Another gem in downtown Upland.

1/24/26 for 1/23/26 Two Frogs Cantina Upland, CA...My friend Chris and I had a great dinner here tonight! We shared Chips & Salsa and 3 Carnitas Taquitos as Appetizers. My friend had 3 different kinds of gourmet tacos...corned beef, fish, and asada. I had the Cali burrito, main meet was the asada with black beans. We loved the green and Chipotle salsas!!! He also ordered us pinto beans, rice, and fries to share. Service by Amanda was very good! Alot of TV's to watch sports and there is a nice fire pit in the patio area where we sat! Very nice decor inside and a great variety of music is played here! Can't wait to go back!!!

The food was good and we absolutely loved their chips and salsa. I ordered the veggie taco and really appreciated having a solid vegetarian option which was delicious. The wife went with the fish and chips and enjoyed her meal as well. The space is nice, and our waitress was great. There was about a 15-minute wait, but they took our number and texted us when our seat was ready. We grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited, though you also have the option to order a drink and relax on the patio. Looking forward to coming back again.

Sunday night karaoke was great. Late night happy hour with good prices and good food selection until midnight. Waitress was friendly and service was thorough. Can't wait to go back!

A clean good smelling restroom will always keep me and the wife coming back. We met Michael who is great host. Love that he appreciates his customers and will go to each table to greet everyone. Joan and savanna where the best behind the bar. For sure a 5 star.

One of the coolest things about a speakeasy is the transition into the space. Here, there's a walkway and corner, then turn into the candle and subtle lit space. It's a small thing? But that bit of walk helps distance the mind and feel open to the special space. There is a bar with seating, a long high top, and bench & table booth-ish type seating. The colors are warm, reminiscent of sitting in a western sunset. Music plays - jazzy, alternative, happy music. We were greeted and seated by the friendly hostess, then welcomed warmly by the magic maker himself: the bartender! And what delightfully unique, and dare I say daring, concoctions he made! The cocktails each had a spin, an ingredient, something *different* from the norm, making it challenging for my friend and I to narrow down which delights to try! Even the popcorn was unique, with chili and nutritional yeast savoriness that was the perfect complement to our cocktails. My friend felt the Silver Cloud was quite the adult version of a smoothie dessert! She got ideas...I adored my Last Word. It was refreshing with the green chartreuse and incredibly not-put-down-able. Next up, she had the Bandolier. It was a very unique taste to her, pretty puckery, so the bartender - who checked on us regularly for impressions - added a bit more pineapple. That did the trick! My next was the Boulevardier, which was uniquely and deliciously twisted with the coffee and salt. Absolute yum!!! Even though there's a 90 minute limit, on this Thursday night there was plenty of space between imbibers, and we weren't pressured in any way to move along. Thank you, as we were due for a proper catch up. One thing we did notice, is that once there were more folks chatting and laughing, it became a bit echo-y and harder to hear. On a busier night, I imagine the ambience we first experienced- quieter, mellow, chill vibe - likely changes to more robust and lively. Either way, this place is a feels-far-away retreat worth "traveling" to.

The music isn't too loud which was nice as well. My wife and I tried several drinks between the two of us. All of them were very good. The staff were friendly and personable. Be aware that you may want to use the restroom prior to entering. If you have to use the restroom while inside, you'll have to exit outside and walk back into the market space to use one. This is a bar only, so plan accordingly to eat as there are no food items to order inside. 10/10 would recommend and my wife and I were glad we stopped in. This will be our go to local cocktail bar from now on.

We tried the lasagna and the Alfredo pasta, and both were delicious and comforting in the best way. I went for dinner on Wednesday so the restaurant wasn't packed. As soon as you walk in you get git with that Italian restaurant smell (idk how else to describe it) so I was hopeful that it would be good. The restaurant is dimly lit so it creates an intimate atmosphere. Very cozy. Our server was friendly and helped me choose between two dishes I wanted. We started with bread service which includes a few different styles of bread along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For my entree I went with the clam linguine. It comes with chopped clams, garlic in a white wine sauce and also has a few whole clams in shell. It was so good. It was very "seafoody" which was just what I was craving. I also got to taste the carbonara, which was also very tasty. It had plenty of pancetta and the sauce was rich. Overall a good experience.

The food, which consisted of salad, lasagna, and pizza, was EXCELLENT!! And full of flavor. The adult beverages were well-made and easily available from the waiters and waitresses. If I were rating on food alone, this would be a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere was great, featuring a cute bar up front and a large, comfortable back patio. We caught a live set by Zone Trooper Charlie, who played a fantastic two-hour gig outside. While most seating is comfortable, some of the plastic wicker-style chairs could be improved. This service--or lack there of--is where the experience fell short. While the staff was friendly, they were clearly overwhelmed by the Friday night crowd. The salad never arrived, we waited 30 minutes for water, and we had to hunt down our pizza after 45 minutes because it was never delivered to the table. Additionally, the beer list was IPA-heavy with few other options. The owner seemed genuinely nice and was walking the floor checking on guests. I hope people provide honest feedback so they can iterate to success. It's a good spot with good pizza--they just need to dial in the logistics to match the quality of the kitchen.

Basically it's a cover charge as the 80s bar does a cover on the weekends too. Be sure to check in with the host on the left. They have you wait in line until the next group is done with their timed seating. We had a 10pm reservation and probably waited about 15-20 minutes to enter. Walking through the 80s bar it gives off very clubby and busy vibes so it was hard to imagine a speakeasy at the end of it. I was actually shocked upon entrance and really impressed with the detail and ambiance. It is a small space and keep in mind you may share a table with another group if necessary. The drinks were actually phenomenal. On the pricier end of $22 and up but we're so good. I loved the horror theme play on the cocktail names! The candy man was delicious and my favorite. The Lester drink came in a light bulb with an edible flower and that was definitely an experience! My hubby loved the Samara which was a delicious espresso. I wish I could have tried more cocktails but our timed seating was up (90minutes). They gave us some ground rules and led us to our tables. At the table you have a QR code where you can place drink orders. The bar brings out your drinks to the table. Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. They do a good job of enforcing the theme. They had a "Yeti" come out and interact with the tables. Good for photo ops. They also had a magician doing a few tricks, and I enjoyed that the most. The place was kept fairly chilly! Even the bathrooms had jokes and signage on the walls that alluded to the alps. Overall a great time. Small venue but pretty chill. Can be pricey. Take a sweater. Good for dates and small groups.
