Our favorite Ardmore restaurant wasn't open today, so on our way back from Dallas to Oklahoma we decided to find another restaurant. We really enjoyed the fried pickles, fried okra, the veggie plate and taking home an apple dumpling, Yum Yum!! We ate here on a Tuesday evening. Very pleasant atmosphere. I had the rib eye which done perfectly. My wife had the filet with crawfish. The steak was excellent, but the crawfish were not that tasty. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

This is a rock and roll clad, solid gold local dining experience. The salads are beyond fresh....and the steaks are cooked to perfection. The menu is a good selection of anything you could want. The staff is friendly, and we would love to be there when there is love music. The 70s music in the background, and the legends framed throughout the walls is a pleasant throwback. Good food, excellent service! Staying in Ardmore for one night to attend a funeral nearby, and went to Yelp to find a food place. 2 Frogs certainly didn't disappoint! This was a great addition to weekend! The Stoney Larue Filet was fantastic and everything was made in-house according to our waiter. Crawfish and butterscotch pecan pie are a must. I will make this stop on my next visit to Ardmore. read more

I've herd a lot of different things about Two Frogs so I'm glad I stopped. Seating and service were very quick. The ambiance of the place is cool and relaxing. I chose the Cajun Catfish with green beans and fried okra, with cole slaw as my third side. The cole saw was mayo based but nicely spiced, and it was a heaping side dish on its own. My entree arrived very promptly. I enjoyed the warm Cajun spices of the blackened catfish and the green beans were chicken broth based and nicely so. My total in to out time one Sunday afternoon was 35 minutes. All and all, Two Frogs was a nice meal with nice service. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

I have their menu memorized. The owners have done a great job in staying consistent over the years. It is rare to find a restaurant that still does the little things such as pre-bussing tables, server teamwork, and server/manager/hostess/bus boys heads moving around-looking for refill opportunities. I think it is the best steak in town. they have perfected the spinach artichoke dip...I used to have to go to Applebee's for it, and I don't like Applebee's! I love their sides, and when they tell me they don't have baby carrots, I get a little sad. The pecan pie is my favorite dessert of theirs. read more

Two Frogs Grill has been our meeting place between Norman and DFW for years. This visit had some hits and definite misses. This time we shared the Catfish Leon and the Fried Seafood Platter. The catfish on the Catfish Leon was cooked well, but the crawfish were tiny and sparse. Unfortunately, the best thing on the Fried Seafood Platter was the hush puppies. The catfish was not fried in the customary corn meal and wasn't crispy. The coating on the frog legs fell off and wasn't crispy, but the frog legs themselves were tender and juicy. The shrimp were butterflied and about 60% breading. The sides (baked potato, fried okra, mashed potatoes, rice and beans) were mediocre and nothing special. The mashed potatoes with gravy were were lumpy and pasty. The fried okra is typical frozen okra. We also tried a apple dumpling. What we were served was basically a very overpriced bowl of melted icing with a lump of apple and a little crust. When it was served, we asked what was all over the dumpling. "It's our special homemade blah blah blah sauce." We mentioned that there wasn't anything on the menu about the sauce. The waiter just gave us a look, shrugged his shoulders and walked off. We had to spoon half of the white glop out of the bowl to even try to cut the "apple dumpling" without everything pouring over the side. It was so sickeningly sweet we both took one bite and put the bowl on the side of the table, almost untouched. We told them they really should let people know they were going to drown the apple dumpling in a sweet sauce before they order it, and they removed it from our table, but not from our check. We may be looking for another meeting place. read more

Went there for the first time Friday came in is was packed great vibes from customers, we and my buddy wanted to sit at the bar so he took us there, we decided to smack right dab in the middle of the bar I mean why not no one was there and service should be great right? Absolutely not far from it actually asked the bartender if he could make a cherry mule they didn't have cherry vodka not a big deal so I had him make me a raspberry mule btw never said hello nor introduced himself, not really a big deal looked through the menu a new bartender came up didn't introduce herself either the first thing she said "are you going to eat " ordered frog legs it was $17 though that was way too much but hey why not give it a shot ordered coleslaw and rice with it. Waited ten minutes they brought me only my coleslaw and crackers didn't ask if I need anything had to tell them I needed a beer waited anthother 15 food came I'm not going to lie the Food was really good no complaints there but the service was with out a doubt terrible worst place I have ever been when it was time to go they didn't thank have a nice day nothing!!! I ever made eye contact with the bartender and she didn't say a damn word no bye have a nice day nothing!!! I've never had such a bad 1st time experience read more

I never post to Yelp. Was driving back to Texas yesterday and spent the night in Ardmore. I randomly chose to eat here and was so pleasantly surprised. Food was fantastic and FRESH. I had grilled catfish, baked potato and salad. All of it was great. I will go out of my way on a car trip to go here again. Atmosphere and service were also awesome. Great spot!! read more

Staying close by for the wknd and wanted to try something local. Cuisine was something wife and I both enjoy. Shrimp Cocktail for the appetizer was good. Our entrees were fried shrimp and fried frog legs. Both were good and very good.portions with 2 sides. Reasonably priced and definitely worth a try next time we are close by. read more

My husband and I came here to have dinner. We came before the dinner rush. We originally had plans to go to a different restaurant, but it was closed for the day. We were staying at the casino and the food there is awful! I found this place on Yelp. I had to try Cajun Red Snapper dish. It looked so good in the pictures. This dish came with rice pilaf and I ordered mashed potatoes. Thankfully, it was one of the specials for today. We also ordered fried mushrooms with ranch. My husband had the fried catfish small plate with mashed potatoes and green beans. Mashed potatoes was kind of bland. Both of our orders came with small rolls and side salad. I had honey mustard dressing. It was SO delicious!! All the food was fresh and beautifully plated, I felt like we were at a fancy restaurant. The waiter was so kind and took very good care of us. If we visit this side of Oklahoma again, we will be back!! read more

Ate here on our way through OK. Place was cool and funky. Service was great and quick. My wife had the shrimp and daughter had the catfish both loved them I had a burger and it hit the spot. The beer was ice cold too(I drove b4 lunch) will stop by again when we pass through. read more

Low lit relaxed atmosphere, not to busy for a Thursday night. The food was good. And the staff was friendly. We got a vip chips and salsa because we stayed at a qualifying hotel. When we walked in the waiter was laying down on the job.. Not very professional but I think he was a teenager and it didn't really matter. No bands were playing that night. Sat at the bar and had a ribeye and beer. Stella on tap made my night. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Salad was basic. I ordered the blue cheese vinegarette. Very generic but it was fine. Ribeye- I order it rare. Whoever cooked it tried really really hard to get the perfect cross hatch sear marks on it. Which they succeeded at. But it made one side of the steak well done and the other almost blue. Black eyed peas had great flavor and baked potato seemed fresh and was loaded with the basics. Not a bad place.
