Stopped in here during a girls' trip to WinStar. We loved it! Our waiter Cody was awesome...just attentive enough without being intrusive, polite, friendly, and gave us great suggestions since we were first-timers. We had the loaded cheese fries to start and followed that with the Filet Orleans with cole slaw, blackeyed peas, and green beans. Perfect for two to split! Wish we'd had room for the dessert...everything sounded fabulous! Loved the photos on the walls as well...decor was great for any rock fan! read more

We go here all the time, its a very special place to my family. My family knows the owner, we've been going since I was little, the food is great. We went there on fathers day and asked to be seated in the bar like we always do. The bartender was also our waitress, and she was nothing but rude. She complained to a patron at the bar about people being seated back there withing ear shot of customers, and was just rude/patronizing the entire time. They need to fire whoever was working at 8pm/9pm on fathers day. The rest of the waitstaff was a joy as usual, food was great as usual, and I will be going back. read more

This place is a gem... do not let the frog bondage detour you from stopping in. A friend informed me that this place is a childhood favorite of hers and with a dessert option like a big a**ed bag of pink cotton candy... I know why. So, frog bondage aside... note the establishment's mascots are two frogs tied together... this place has the vibe of a family friendly stripper club... Okay, hear me out. The decor is deep red walls, ceiling, and booths accented with black and leopard. There are autographed pieces of rock n' roll memorabilia adorning the walls. There is a small stage and a full bar. In the middle of all this I see kids, grandparents, families, singles, dating and all walks of life eating and having a good time here. It is odd, but it works. The food. We were just popping in for a snack as I35 was the site of 2 car-b-ques, and we needed to eat before making it to our destination. We ordered two apple moonshine concoctions... tasty and the spinach and artichoke dip along with the fried zucchini. The dip was pretty flavorful and came with tones of chips and pico and sour cream. The zucchini was crisp and cut into spears so you could actually tell that they were a vegetable in a former life. Not greasy, warm and good, served with homemade ranch. Mmmmm. I will certainly recommend this to any traveler headed down the I35 and hope to be tied up here again soon. read more

This place had some cool guitars on the walls, but that was it. The waitress wasn't rude, but just didn't care. Almost like we were wasting their time. We are here for a week for work and experienced a lot of places to eat and this was the worst. The food sucked. They must buy cheap chicken, because I ordered chicken 'fried like chicken' and the batter wrap was twice the size of the breast inside. It taste like it was in the freezer too long. My daughters chicken fingers had 1 bite out of them because she said it taste funny. My husband had some other chicken with bacon on it and he said it was a small piece of chicken that didn't taste like chicken. Not one of us finished our food, nor took it back to the hotel. Service was horrible, so was the food. I would go out of my way to NOT suggest this place to anyone. read more

Great little joint in this small town. Good food with a very fun blues and rock n roll club type feel to the decor yet very family friendly. The food has a slight cancun flair. The decor feels more like a jazz lounge than a cajun bayou joint. Food was very tasty, but nothing that blew me out of the water. One really fun item they have is a GIANT pile of cotton candy for dessert. It was a massive mound, so tall you couldn't see the person across the table from you. Two Frogs is just "ok" I took my mother and son there tonight. My son loved his ribs. They were really the only thing worth ordering. I had the Voodo shrimp and it was forgettable . My mother had the chicken fried steak. It was pretty ordinary. Pricey for ordinary food. read more

The atmosphere and decor is really cool, especially if you are into music. The staff is very friendly. But Eek! The food. It just wasn't good. We all had something different, and we were all disappointed. That's 4 people not happy with 4 different dishes. I can't really comment on the chicken fried steak my boyfriend had since I didn't taste it. My son's lemon pepper chicken was so overcooked it was like sawing through thick cardboard. My son's friend ordered frog legs but got something completely differnt. They took it back, the entire 16 minutes it took for them to make the correct dish, our server disappeared leaving the rest of us thirsty. My catfish was horrible. Mind you, I have never had fried catfish before, but none the less, I hated it. The cornmeal batter was incredibly bland and the fish was mooshy. At $10+ each for a lunch portion, I just don't get the hype. read more

Stopped here on the way back from Turner Falls when other options weren't available. I wasn't expecting to decor but was surprised and thought the inside looked great especially for music lovers. The staff was friendly and attentive and took care of our party of 6 just fine. I wasn't impressed with the food though. Thought it was average and overpriced. The catfish was bland and wasn't worth $16. There may be some better options but it just didn't make me happy for the price. read more

We stopped here on our way to San Antonio and weren't that impressed. The waitress explained they were known for their cajun seasonings but all the food was very bland. We shared a cheeseburger and the seafood platter. The burger was excellent, however, none of the seafood had any flavor or spices. The only cajun seasoning I tasted was in the green beans which was rather gross. Service was good. Overall I give it C. read more

Seriously the best catfish I've ever had. I had the cajun catfish & it was perfect. The seasoning was done just right & the catfish melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes & gravy, fried okra, & bacon bloody mary were also top notch! If I lived closer I would be back all the time. read more

OMG I loved this place! We made plans for a tweetup here. Friends who've been tweeting for at least eight years but have never met. Two from Oklahoma, one from Texas, and one from Germany. Ever since I knew we were going to eat here, I'd been obsessed with the fact that they had cotton candy on the menu. I had to order and it was awesome! So HUGE and fun. Rock-n-roll themed restaurant with guitars all over the walls, kinda like Hard Rock Cafe. Although the portion is big, the taste isn't worth the price paid - I may be wrong, but that's what I felt after ordering the fried frog legs. read more

We were told to stop in Ardmore on our way to Winstar for their chicken fried steak. Since we were always on the hunt for good chicken fried steak places, of course we stopped. We were not disappointed. The place looks a bit like a mafia restaurant with red and black vinyl seating. But we were happy to see the small stage at the front for weekend gigs...pretty cool. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Now to the food: We ALL loved the CFS!!! It was moist steak and just the right amount of crunch on the outside. I liked that it was not so huge (like some are) but just the right size for lunch. The sides were good. We will come back next time we hit I-35 South. read more

The place was pretty packed for a Weds night. We started with the chips and salsa, which were excellent. My body was screaming for greens so I ordered the salad, which hit the spot. I stole my daughter's green beans, which were excellent. Husband ordered the catfish, which was a pretty small filet but tasty. Kids had the burgers, which were only okay. Found myself in Ardmore with a need for a great meal. Two frogs grill nailed it. They delivered in spades. For starters the Cajun flavored crawdad tails were delightful. Everything from a crispy salad to expertly fried chicken was excellent; and you MUST must save room for the peanut butter satin pie. even if you don't like peanut butter that pie was to die for!! Best fried mushrooms I have ever had! Unique atmosphere for Southern Oklahoma.

I never write reviews, but this experience was so below subpar I felt the need to. A friend of ours had recommended this place, and since we go to lake Murray a lot we figured we would stop on our way back to okc. First off it's a grill, so we were very confused when we walked in, in our boating clothes and there's candles on the table and it has an awkward ambiance. But we were there for the food so we sat down. Our waitress had the worst attitude and clearly was not fond of her job, maybe it was because it was Fourth of July and they were closing early, I don't know but the service was terrible. We were hoping that the food would make the poor service and confusing atmosphere better but to our surprise the food was mediocre at best. All 5 of us eating there had been in the service industry for many years and we were dumbfounded at this experience. I like the food here. It is a little expensive for what you get, however I have never been disappointed and I've eaten here a few times.

Only place that I visited while in OK, was disappointed. Expected the ribs to be better. Not too sure about their other menu items.

herd about two Frogs for years and decided to stop while we where in the area! I always though it was a fish places? the Atmsphere is like a Bar there is Guitars and pictures of country and rock singers all over the wall it looks cool and there is a stage so I take it they have live music. I wouldn't say its a family place or that the food was all that good.I had the fried cat fish & hubby had a chicken fry premade not home made like the nenu stated the frys and beans may have been and the rolls were good. it's clean service was ok until he try to put a fast one on us. we paid with cash change back &14.00 & some. our bill wasn't that much eat of the lunch nenu. he put the $10.00 in his pocket and hand back 4 ones & herried off,we both looked at each other,we don't mind tipping good when its called for or the service is awesome! we called him on it he pulled the 10 out of his pocket,we could have gotten him fired I am sure or just left no-tip. we left him the 4 ones witch was more then enough. and I am sure we want be back. it was just one of those places to get in out of the heat and have a cold drink & look around... read more

Had the chips and salsa. Salsa tasted homemade. Shared a platter with catfish, fried shrimp and frog legs. The batter was a little heavy on the frog legs and needed more seasoning. The catfish and shrimp were delicious. Also tried the voodoo seasoned crawfish which were pretty good. Overall, good atmosphere, good food, average service. read more

Great food, great atmosphere! As restaurant owners we always look for something new to try when traveling. This was definitely a spot we will hit again, everything was fresh and prepared just right. Ok let me start by saying that his place is lucky I even gave them one star and I only did that because the server girl was a good server. The manager tonight on the other hand, sucked big donkey dick! So my family and I stopped here to eat on our way back home to dallas and it started out good, I ordered Cajun chicken and my sides were a baked potato and green beans. Any way I ate my chicken and green beans first and saved the potato for the end so I wouldn't get full, SO as I took a bite of my potato and was chewing something hard was in my mouth and first thought for me was that it was a piece of foil since that's what it was wrapped in, I take out the hard price and IT WAS A DAMN FINGER NAIL! Now the server did what she was supposed to and took my plate to the back to the manager, and after she did that I went to the bathroom to vomit but my family was still at the table and she said the manager NEVER CAME TO THE TABLE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OR ANYTHING! Not only did she not do what she was supposed to do as a manger but she sent the server back to our table to do her dirty work. According to my mom and step dad, they pretty much insinuated that I planted the finger nail and they gave a cheap military discount to try and compensate! Now I been a server for some years at a couple different places throughout Kansas and Dallas, and I'm currently a server/bartender now so I'm pretty aware of basics procedures when a guest has an issue with the food....The manger tonight at this establishment was not only careless, but she lacks basic customer service skills, I have NEVER encountered a manger who did not personally speak with the guest about a problem, especially if it involves something in the food that's Not supposed to be there! And at my store if one of our guests found anything in their food, whether it was a finger nail, hair, or whatever; my manger would comp the meal for that person! I came in and ordered the special to go. It was a rib eye k-bob on a bed of rice with a side for $13.95. I got back to work and discovered I'd paid $15 for a single k-bob and green beans. No rice. Nothing special. What a rip off! Needless to say, it wasn't enough food, but I'm broke now. read more
