The people were very nice here and the atmosphere is chill but...plastic cups. Seriously? The beers here start at $5.25 for a 12 oz pour. A pint will cost you $7 or more. Did I mention that the beer is served in a plastic cup? I had a Biere de garde and my friend had a New England IPA. They were solid beers. This place may not have air conditioning-a big ass fan sits at the end of the taproom and it was quite warm. Two Blokes is a fun addition to the Charleston beer scene, and if I lived in Mount Pleasant, I would definitely stop by more often! They have a pretty good variety of beers, so I opted for a flight. I liked about half of them, and went with a pint of my favorite, the Keep Calm and Saison. I love Two Blokes! Not only is it now part of the Mt Pleasant brewery scene (which is most excellent for those of us who live in Mt P and are too lazy to cross the bridge), but their beer is great! Atmosphere is friendly - spacious but up-scale for a brewery. I like the play area for the kids (great idea!) and the comfy couches in the corner by the window. Wish they had some outdoor space, but the space is fairly light and airy, so you don't feel like you're cooped up inside, either. Music selection is always great and the folks serving are always very friendly and helpful. I've tried every beer here at this point and all of them are great. I've been steering away from uber IPAs as of late, but if you're into hoppy doubles, the Throat Charmer is the way to go or Drone Honey Rye IPA. The Chipotle Amber (Bushfire) is SO good, especially at this time of year, as is the Cpt Bligh's Porter, which hits you initially with the vanilla and coconut, and then the cocoa kicks in at the back. SO good. Their cranberry wheat is slightly tart but very good - even if you're not a fan of sours - and the saison and red IPA are excellent too! Seriously - it's all good. Despite being relatively new to the beer scene, Two Blokes feels like an established spot. The quality of beers is remarkable. The service is great, even when the crowds flow in and empty pint glasses start to pile up. They hustle. And they care about everyone having a great experience. These are solid beers that can stand up to any big name brewery around. The tasting room is kid-friendly (to the extreme: they have an entire corner dedicated to children where they can play with building blocks and toys). Prepare yourself to see a LOT of kids and dogs. If you are looking for a kid-free evening, you are better off waiting until it gets a little later in the evening ... after 7pm when most of the families seem to tab out because bed time is nearing. Four-legged kids are also very welcome inside the brewery! Food trucks and pop-ups rotate around the schedule so you won't go hungry. Two Blokes is a sure bet for good beer and good times! read more

I'm giving 4 stars mainly for service and location then beer taste. Their bartenders were very nice and knowledgeable and the inside of their brewery was really well done, clean, and organized! As far as my palette goes, however, I was not a fan of any of the 4 beers I got in my flight (see picture). The bushfire in particular. First off I will say the vibe in this place is excellent. From the music to the decor it was on point. Nice lighting, nice furnishings, good signage. There are a bunch of places to sit from the bar to a secluded table. Whatever you're feeling they've got you covered. Now on to the beer. They had quite a few to choose from in all kinds of styles I really liked two of my choices some were a little basic and lacking the flavor they claimed. It was $8 for a flight of 4 oz pours. This brewery has been open exactly two weeks ago yesterday by a husband wife combo and they have done a phenomenal job. The beer list is limited but really flavorful. They were able to do something in this craft beer world that is hard to do, with so many breweries, and that is have a unique flavor. Their Drone honey rye india pale ale is refreshing with the perfect balance of bitter and sweet. I've been hearing good things about Two Blokes for a while and finally got to check it out about 2 weeks ago for trivia night. It was raining so people were running back and forth from their cars, the food truck, and the brewery. Inside it was much larger than I had expected for being nestled in an industrial park. There are lots of large tables lined up along each wall, welcoming large groups or small groups that were open to sharing their seats. My sister and I shared a flight and I was happy to see they had a tart beer in their lineup, the Tart Vader. This may be my new favorite after Two Evil's Geyser Gose. The best part may be the Neverending Story painting in the women's restroom, however. read more

I am conflicted in my review of Two Blokes Brewing. For me a few years ago when my kids were small, I could have skipped the baby sitter, brought the dog and enjoyed the great beer while sampling the ever revolving food trucks visiting the parking lot. It is great for that demographic and from my multiple visits, seems to fill this need. However, If like myself, you don't want to trip over running,unsupervised children or get tangled in the playing dogs leashes when you are heading to the bar to order your wonderful variety of craft beers, you might be disappointed. (Don't shoot the messenger please! I love kids and dogs - have both) I do love the fact that they have lots of things going on like trivia, cool food trucks and live music which makes repeat visits a must. Two Blokes was a great brewery in Mt. Pleasant. I appreciated its dog-friendly indoors atmosphere and open space layout. There was even a kid-friendly play area. Two Blokes often has food trucks outside, and you can also bring your own food. As a lover of sour and wild brews, I tried the "Tart Vader" and "Keep Calm and Saison." Both were delicious. My husband, who goes for the high-IBU IPAs, enjoyed the "Throat Charmer" and "Red Stapler." With all of our breweries in the Charleston area, Two Blokes is worth a visit. read more

"Solid, unpretentious and approachable beers," as per their self-proclaimed mission, and they are right on! Visited on a Wednesday evening for a tasting flight and they certainly have something for everyone. 10 beers or so currently on tap, and the grainy smell of the place tipped us off that they had brewed that day! ...Though head brewer Matty Symons didn't seem to be on site to accept our compliments in person. The lady bloke running the taproom hoperations stayed busy keeping numerous patrons hydrated with various colors of hop and grain concoctions but happily took the time to give a description of each brew if the paper menu explanation left you still wondering. We thought they mispelled growler for a sec but we realized soon that they brilliantly offer affordable 32oz can growlers called "crowlers," freshly filled and sealed upon request! Great way to save $, especially if you forget to bring your own glass (growler). As mentioned on their website, which is easy to navigate and full of great information, their beers include everything from hoppy IPAs to sessionable pub ales and fruity saisons. So everyone, from newbies to craft beer aficionados, will find something to enjoy. read more

There's a couple of things I really like about this place. First the beer, it is all good. I have tried about 80% of their offerings and have yet to find one that offends me. Second, the atmosphere. It is a great place to hang out and chat with friends or strangers, it is busy but not loud, and it doesn't have TVs (now that is a concept !) so the crowd is quite social. The establishment is an inviting space. My only complain is that they do not serve any wine which is a bummer because my gf doesn't drink beer so I don't go there as often as I would like. read more

Brewery stop #2! After having a couple beers across the road at GMB, we wanted to check out Two Blokes Brewing too. Located in a strip mall they have a large long location with a good size bar and some booth seating. We opted to try a flight here. I mentioned that I like sour beers so the bartender helped with suggestions. Unfortunately our if the 4 I kinda liked 1. Nothing was to my taste liking. I really wanted to love the cherry sour, Tart Vader, but all I tasted was smoke. I mentioned this to both bartenders and they said some people do, some don't. Well I definitely did and was not a fan. I was still smelling/tasting it a couple hours later it lingered around that long. I will go back. I have friends that love it and two of them made suggestions after I left on a beer I should have tried but didn't, so I'll return to try more another day. read more

Two Blokes has now become my go to place for a good beer. It's real simple, they make and sell good beer, for every taste. Not just any beer, but Craft beer! Don't let the exterior fool you, go inside. It has a nice L shaped bar, some tall pub tables and other seating around. Very open & spacious inside. The atmosphere is very laid back, and the staff is friendly. Brittany is usually working, and she will gladly share details of the beers on tap. They serve beer in 4oz, 12oz, and 16oz. I suggest you go for the flight to try different ones. The beers range from pilsner, to IPAs, red, and stout. I love the Liquid Lunch and the Spilt Milk. You can also take home the nifty Crowler can (32 oz) or bring your growler for a fill. On the weekends they usually have a food truck or other pop up food vendor to help you enjoy the beer even more. I can definitely see this becoming a regular hang out - it's great to have another brewery in Mount Pleasant. As with a lot of small breweries, don't be put off by the location; while it doesn't look like much on the outside, it is gorgeous and very welcoming on the inside. There's plenty of seating and the beertenders were very friendly and helpful. They offer a nice variety and we enjoyed everything we tried (the First Blood blood orange hefeweizen, Keep Calm & Saison, and Tart Vader Berliner Weisse). One thing we really liked was that they offer a 4 oz pour, which is nice if you want to try a couple of beers without committing to a flight. I was fortunate to try Two Blokes before they actually opened. They were promo-ing their stuff around town and I was one of the lucky ones. I'm not sold on their location since it's in a strip mall type of place, but that isn't enough to prevent me from going! They have created a kid-friendly environment, so be prepared! If you have kids and can't find a sitter or just want to add to the chaos, feel free to bring them along. You won't feel out of place. With all that said, I really enjoy their brews. Try a flight so you can sample several at one time. Or get a pint(s) and enjoy every last drop of whatever you choose. Let them take you on the brewery tour of their set-up. It's pretty cool. They are one of the newer breweries on the block, but don't let that scare you. In fact, more reason to stop in. You won't be disappointed. They also usually have a food truck for happy hour and on weekends so put a little something on your stomach to soak up all that delicious beer. Prost! read more
