I am honestly a sucker for TWLV. I eat here entirely too much. I love their breakfast. Their house scramble is my favorite but their chilaquiles are some of the best I've had. Their Birria tacos are to die for. I order them nearly every time we come in. They have multiple choices of wing sauces and you cant go wrong with any. The pastas are delicious and their steaks are always cooked to perfection. This restaurant offers 3 meals and quick bites and they are so delicious. They also did a mother's day buffet that was delicious and I hope that they do that on other occasions. The restaurant is large and has alot of seating and is decorated with neat artwork and dozens of coocoo clocks. The servers and hostesses are always friendly and smiling. Always a great meal and great experience when dining here.

Waited over 40 minutes for our food, then my husband's food came out and the CHICKEN WAS RAW!! The chef came out and assured us that it was cooked, IT WAS NOT! The chicken was still pink and slimy!!

We were seated quickly and oyr drink order was taken and brought to us. We ordered and here comes the problem.. we waited and waited and the waitress came several times to apoligize. We were not the only ones waiting. Started getting busy & Finally it came and my hashbrowns were overcooked and crunchy but I didnt complain. nice detail of chicken coo coo clocks and chicken feet on table. I still miss the old breakfast restaurant.

I sometimes just order the nuts, cheese and fruit for my main course because it's so big and has a large variety. Pro tip. Tap water here is terrible. Ask for bottled water. Unfortunately, even though they have a filtration system, the tap water is used in their soda machine, and I can taste it in the soda as well. I bring my own drink if I want something other than beer.

All of us got something different and all of us walked away very happy with our selection. The service station has that kind of "saloon" feel to it when you come in the door. And I mean that in a good way. Nicely refurbished to reflect a lot of the old style. There's a bar when you first come in and plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. The menu item of choice for me tonight was the "fish and chips". It's beer, battered Alaskan Pollock fish. It comes with homemade coleslaw and a choice of sides and I chose a salad. A very nice portion size of fish that was flaky and not at all fishy tasting. The homemade coleslaw was terrific, wish there was more in the cup. The salad consisted of lettuce and cherry tomatoes. I went with the blue cheese. Super friendly waitress with lots of good suggestions and very welcoming to us.

What I liked about it was 1) it came with an egg which doesn't always happen. 2) the chips stayed crispy the entire time. 3) came with a side , for the hash browns and they were super yummy. The two things that I didn't like were more just my preference which were that I kinda like it with more sauce or cheese and I love them they have pickle red onion. This had a ton of chopped white onion...: more than I'm use to having, kinda took it over. Would like to try this place again but maybe for lunch or dinner .

Thank God we were too late for the restaurant we wanted to go to. Tacos were insanely delicious . Enchiladas out of this world. Birria ramen was... no words, but damn, yes, please, and thank you. This diner came in at $25, and we did order extra eggs and meat. Cute interior, I really liked touches like the 60's paint-by-numbers. My husband noticed a really cool vintage 50's electric guitar on the wall. We had the WHOLE DAMN place to ourselves. Another reviewer noted the owners are Asian and therefore can't cook American traditional foods. Um, Korean owned diners are definitely a thing in California, much like the Greek owned diners in NYC. Price wise it is reasonable until you see what you get. My husband wanted the ribeye but they were sold out so he got the New York. Wow it was the thinnest and stingiest piece of meat. Since we both ordered no potatoes and he doesn't eat toast. The eggs and thin steak looked even more sad. For $15 before tip and tax he was still hungry. This wasn't even more than 2 oz since it was paper thin. It was like shabu meat grilled. Yeah. I ordered the omelette but even that was tiny. I normally never finish my food but this one left me hungry. The interior looked like an old Japanese sushi restaurant but it was supposed to be a diner. You can see they didn't spend much on remodeling which is fine but the food quality and portion were both not good. If you are hungry don't come here. The steak was the worst thing we had in Sonora.
