Food at this café is excellent and I have always received great service from friendly staff. I'd recommend their smoothies and breakfast sandwiches. Nice to have great brunch and lunch options in Lincoln. My latte wasn't anything too special and there is an 50 cent to $1 upcharge for nondairy milk, but a solid experience all around. read more

I love this place!! I always stop in for some sort of breakfast item and a chocolate milk to go. The are able to customize the chocolate milk to the type of milk to your liking. The breakfast sandwiches and specials are AMAZING!! You must try the strawberry cream cheese and toasted bagel special...heavenly. Friendly staff, clean, quaint, yummy food! read more

Terrible food and service. The portions are small and outrageously priced, a salad with no meat was almost $13. The employees were short and one was on his phone. Trails End Cafe is a million times better. read more

Stopped in here after fun at Drumlin farm. My son enjoyed the turkey sandwich and I had the drumlin farm salad. The food was super yummy and the staff were friendly and welcoming to a small child. I will definitely be back any time we are in the area. read more

Twisted Tree Cafe - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lincoln, Massachusetts

We love the twisted tree for sandwiches and other lunch items to go! Teachers appreciate that we can order on line ahead, and pick is quick.

Well, we stayed away for this place for over a year, because some kitchen employees were not wearing masks during the worst part of the Pandemic. Things have not changed much. The place was filthy, floors not clean, tables not cleaned, and the bathroom was totally disgusting..someone had gone in there and peed all over the toilet and floor..I had no more appetite when the food was ready. Never again. Too bad, it used to be good a couple of years ago..no longer..if it ever was.. read more

Consistently good smoothies and sandwiches. Efficient timing with online ordering and finding my meal on the p/u shelf.

Stopped by today and had the Michaelangelo on sour dough bread, plenty of good fillings like fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, roasted red peppers, lettuce and the perfect amount of balsamic dressing! The sandwich was nice and warm, perfect! The bread was fresh and had just the right amount of chew! I also had the buffalo cauliflower protein bowl! Yes, I was very hungry! This just might be the best bowl I have ever had, chickpeas, quinoa, cauliflower and a few other things plus a light dressing of sorts, very healthy. Ah yes, Twisted Tree is on the Map and people are loving this place! Keep up the good work! Thanks! Oh ya, excellent service too! Friendly all around. read more

I really can't say enough good things about this place! The food is always fresh and delicious. The menu is so much better than the cafes in my area. A special thanks to the manager, Ash. She puts so much time into creating such a special menu and makes us feel very welcome! read more

Please, please, please change your cold brew! I want to give you more business, but honestly I've tried the cold brew 2 times (hoping the 1st was a fluke), and I can't drink it. I'm not a coffee snob, but this stuff is worse than the McD's I've had to drink once. It's super acidic and simply has to be thrown away. Let the public know if you change the recipe and sales will go up big-time! I'm not the only one thinking this, I'm just the one that had to say something. read more

I visited the twisted tree cafe and had a delicious grilled caprese sandwich. Plenty of vegeterian options that were clearly marked. What I really appreciated were the covid precautions. They only allow one group in at a time and you can wait outside in a covered area. The outdoor tables are actually distanced!! There are alot of good outdoor areas in Lincoln for picnicking as well. The corn muffin was also so good, we bought a second one on the way out. read more

We were in from out of town and so checked Yelp for a good breakfast place. The website and Yelp reviews made it sound great, but it was mediocre. A number of menu items that led us to choose it were not available. The coffee was extremely bitter. Service was spotty. read more

Good food, I don't recommend the coffee, keep in mind it takes about 15 minuets for them to make your food depending on what you order. Supper friendly staff read more

Very cool, hip little place with indoor and outdoor seating. For lunch I chose Tumeric Latte.. what a discovery, so comforting and yummy, and a Fig,apple and Brie Sammy on sourdough bread. Great vibes and staff. I'll be back! read more

Excellent new place. They are a vast improvement over the cafe that was in Lincoln center previously. The egg sandwiches in particular are great. Spread the word--Lincoln has a decent cafe now! read more

Simply FANTASTIC! I was a little worried that the portions would be 'small', but we had a BLT on sourdough bread and a sweet potato breakfast burrito and the portions were HUGE and extremely flavorful! We'll definitely stop by again when in the area! read more

Good sandwiches. Try the Michaelangelo (like a warm caprese) or the Harvest. Friendly staff even when it's busy, and a nice place to bring a bunch of kids or pets since there is nearby parking and a lot of outdoor seating around the building. read more

Good coffee and food but bad service. Had to wait half an hour for my order which I paid for at the shop. It got lost. They prioritize their web orders. Don't go there during the weekend. read more

Nice , but pricey in the middle of Lincoln . The quality of the food is good but be ready to pay a little extra at this rich town cafe.

Love this place! Fabulous coffee, great salads and a cool place to get some work done.

I just finished my take-out order of the avocado and corn salad. It was so good, and a change from my own mundane meals during this challenging time. The dressing was so flavorful. I also ordered a scone to have for tea later this afternoon. I am so glad this ingenious restaurant is supporting our body and soul while we retreat in place. Mary Ann read more

Loved this place! We had two sandwiches, a salad and a smoothie and everything was so delicious. I loved the menu and could have ordered even more. Highly recommend! read more

Best chai latte, alternative milk available, with no sugar added! Healthy snacks available and menu. Nice staff. Seasonal vegetables from local farms. read more

Sandwiches and smoothies were quite good. Manager did a good job of being both friendly and efficient. They could do with some more help, as the floor and tables were not as clean as they could be. Bright and generally pleasant interior. It seems to be pretty popular with the locals, perhaps because there is not a lot of other options in Lincoln. read more

keeps getting better. espresso and breakfast some of best around. Glad to see these guys are doing well. Good group of employees.

So happy to have a cafe in town! The food is wonderful and the menu varies. It's also so close to the commuter rail that you can duck in and grab a coffee if you're running early to the train! I love their salads and lattes. Thumbs up! read more

These guys do a fabulous job. On numerous occasions I've gone in with my son who always seems to have a special request (grilled cheese, or something else not on the regular menu). They always whip it up for him with a smile! Solid coffee, really nice people. Worth the trip or the stop. We are thrilled we live right down the street from it. read more

Such a great addition to Lincoln. Terrific menu, reasonably priced, and super cozy. The coffee and smoothie selections are both particularly impressive. read more

I got a smoothie and it was really bad and I couldn't even finish half of it. Not worth the 8 dollars at all

Wonderful lunch place for vegetarians! So happy to have discovered Twisted Tree! We enjoyed yummy, fresh sandwiches and superb service here. Only wish that the sandwich plates had included either a small side salad or chips or something?? Seemed naked without anything else. We'll be back for sure. read more

We were so happy to have stumbled across this place while hiking in nearby Concord. Really huge and delicious sandwiches and smoothies. It's in a very cute plaza with other shops and an art gallery, and there's lots of outdoor seating. It felt very safe - they only let one customer in at a time and staff were masked up and keeping their distance. Will definitely return next time we're in the area. read more

Recently tried the Twisted Tree Cafe for lunch. This great little cafe offers delicious, fresh, and healthy lunch options, as well as awesome coffee. I had the Treehugger wrap and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and courteous, and the cafe is a great space to meet up with friends. I will definitely be back! read more

We couldn't be happier to have such a well run cafe in our little town. Whenever we go in we are greeted with smiles. The staff are pleasant and work very hard at making everyone happy. The food is delicious and the drinks (coffee, smoothies, etc) are done well. Whenever I bring my pup to wait out side they come out to greet her which is a huge plus. read more

I have to say, I liked the food here, but the size of drink in the cafe is so confusing me. I ordered a cup of large oat milk latte before, but I just get a cup of coffee like gender size in Starbucks. I looked around, I found others have a larger cup coffee than me, so I tried to make sure they did the right size, they told me it is large. Then 2days later, I came again ordered a large cup of iced coffee, and iced tea, both of them I got a larger size than before. 6.5dollar only gender size latte? So confusing. read more

I really want to love this place since it's one of the two restaurants in our tiny town. I can say it's a big step up from the previous cafes in this same location. I've tried it 2x both for breakfast, so I can't attest to the sandwiches and salads (which sound yummy based on their descriptions). The first time I went, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte to go. The latte was small and uninspiring and expensive and I received the wrong breakfast sandwich. I walked back and explained I had the wrong sandwich. No apology, just a stare from the employee and then she asked, "So what do you want me to do?" I actually had to explain that I'd like the sandwich I ordered to which she exclaimed, "You know you have to wait, right?" The second time I went with my son. He ordered the little latte off the kids' menu and a bagel. After a few sips of the latte, he told me it didn't taste good. I took a sip and he was right! (The milk seemed off). I brought it to the counter and explained the issue. Again, complete stare of apathy (with a different staffer to boot!). I asked if he could have a hot cocoa instead. She said sure but I'd have to pay for both drinks, which I did begrudgingly. (Sadly, the hot chocolate is not kid friendly so that got tossed as well). I had the millennial toast (which was delicious but basic) and another boring latte. At the end of the visit, I realized I spent $30 on guacamole on toast, a bad latte, a store bought bagel, and 2 drinks in the trash. Hopefully they will improve and maybe train staff on problem solving/ customer service. read more

Great food and smoothies! I love that you can order it online and have contactless pick up.

My fiancée and I have been pretty down recently being in our 20s, living with immunocompromised people, and totally unable to go out. So when I ordered takeout from here I was overjoyed. We picked up our order outside so I didn't have contact or even have to go into the store, the place looked clean with all staff masked, and there were markers outside for social distancing. Will definitely be getting takeout from here again soon! read more

We love Twisted Tree Cafe!! We stop by whenever we're in Lincoln and we've always had a great experience. The food and drinks are delicious, the staff lovely, and the space delightful. They're always very accommodating with my young child. I recommend highly!! read more

Hot chocolate with pot oil. What?? My kiddo pointed out that the special hot chocolate mint had CDB oil in it. It was listed as mint hot chocolate with CBD. I had no idea that this is what it was. Thankfully I didn't accidentally ingest this by not fully reading the menu. This cafe should recognize that Lincoln just voted about a week ago overwhelmingly against having pot stores in town. I seriously doubt that parent would be happy to learn their kids can get "special hot chocolate with cannabis oil". You lost me as a customer Twisted Tree. Yes, perhaps the name is apt. read more
