I went to Twisted Root for the first time and thought it was pretty good! I'm a huge burger fan so wanted to try this place out. My burger was pretty delicious, but the fries? Not so much. Also, I love that it's kind of a unique place (the atmosphere is different and they offer pickles in barrels) but I wish they had regular fountain sodas. Not the end of the world though and the service was excellent! So would I go again? Absolutely. Would it be my first choice? Probably not. read more

We had an excellent time at TRB Coppell! The food and atmosphere was amazing. The vibe was great for family during the day and can't wait to check it out at night. Wayyyy better than 5 guys. I would have given a 4 1/2 stars! 3 things, very loud, plastic cups need to be bigger and bun on the bottom of my burger was soaked with grease from the patty and it fell a part. Other then that, the food was all very good and staff very friendly. I would recommend and I'll also go back. read more

I love to go to this place because they have kids meal and not in over places and they don't take like 5 minutes to cook your food so I think that's really cool cuz I and some other places they take so long taking your order or like like you order hamburger in there like it's taking forever to just give your friend so yeah I love this place. read more

Tried Twisted Root for the first time since they just reopened in Coppell. I would not recommend. I have an hour lunch so I try to order ahead, I got there to pickup via curbside but no one answers the phone when you call the number provided. I go in and let them know I ordered online and my order never came through to them, he quoted me 6-8 minutes which turned in to 15 to 20 minutes. I drive back to work and as I am enjoying my burger I bite into paper left on the cheese. A full piece of paper was on my burger. So I had to drive all the way back there to show them and get my money back. The employee was very apologetic but the manager came up and didn't even apologize just hit the refund button and kept going on about her day. Very disappointed that I didn't get to eat lunch and all of my lunch time was taken up by Twisted Root and no one offered me a gift card or next meal on them or anything. read more

Always a good time here. Food is consistently great, atmosphere is lively. I miss when they used to call out your celebrity name though. That added a fun component to the mix! Try the Twisted Mule - it beats the regular Moscow Mule that is made everywhere else! read more

My husband and I had lunch at the Twisted Root Burger Company today. I had the All American and my husband got the Lots-a-shroom burger. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious! We were impressed with the variety of exotic meats like kangaroo, gator, etc. and looking forward to trying some of their other burgers soon. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Just waited 23 minutes for one shake. That's was all I ordered. Right before the shake came out, I saw the manager, Ash, fill a small side cup with ice cream and lick it clean right in front of the window at the bar. Wanted to fall in love with it but just can't. The food wasn't that great and it was so greasy we felt sick afterwards. The fries are so thin that if you get them "loaded" it has to be eaten with a fork (but maybe some people like that). Probably won't be back just nothing that stood out to us. read more

Wouldn't go back here again. This was my first time at this burger joint and it wasn't the best tasting food. Everything was cold (I even saw them pulling the fries out of a big container so they had probably been sitting there for a while before being put with my burger). My wife and I visited this place when it was still relatively new. They were still working the kinks out of the operation, but the food was delicious and the staff appeared to be busting their humps to provide a strong dining experience. The place looks like it could be a ton of fun. I'm particularly intrigued by the open space on the outside of the restaurant that appears to be the perfect place for a band and some boot-scootin'. The pickle jars were a great plus, although not all the pickles appealed to me. Some, though, were great. read more

They make amazing veggie burgers that are fresh and are not from the freezer! I had the Greek salad with a veggie burger. I went with a group of ladies for lunch and I think it was the opening week. One of the co-founders called out the orders and he was so much fun! The flavored root beer is great. Instead of calling numbers like every other boring restaurant, they give you a card with a name. I was Oprah. This is not a place to get a quick bite because you do have to wait while they make your food. It's worth the wait and the food is great. This is one of the few places I can eat at repeatedly. read more

This was a nice burger place. I tried the Freshman15 because I love having a fried egg on my burger. The fries were pretty tasty and i enjoyed their special bbq sauce available at the table. This was a great place to go out for dinner. We got there around 6:00 and there was no line. We ordered and took a seat. The food came out in about 25 minutes. They didn't bring out our 3rd basket of fries, so we went up to the counter twice about it and they said they'll bring more out soon, but they never did. The manager eventually came out and we told him our issue and he hand delivered our fries and a free shake because of the inconvenience. When we left, the line was out the door, and that was about 7:10. Even though we didn't get our fries, I would still go back because the food was amazing! read more
