My Kids enjoyed CWE, but not Twisted Ranch!
Larry P.

Came to CWE for the Holiday Window Walk. It was almost 2pm and we were hungry. We thought to try your restaurant. We ordered from the nice waitress then waited 45 minutes to be served our food! We also notice kitchen staff watching the last quarter of the Miami football game and talking about how much money they had on game. The whole restaurant of Holiday Families had to wait like this! We are Not going to ever grace your inconsiderate establishment again. Food was average after all.

Twisted Ranch has been on my list for a while and finally made it out there. It is an exceptionally fun concept if youre a lover of Ranch like me. They have 34 flavors of Ranch made in house and a variety of different foods and flights to give you a taste of each one. I ordered the flight of 15 with the Ranch seasoned fries. They were crispy crispy crispy in the way I love them and were the perfect vessel for dipping in those Ranch sauces. Some of the stand outs for me were the Parmesan Peppercorn that hit in all the right ways with being flavorful, creamy and not overpowering; the smoked tomato basil was an add on for the grilled cheese and its killer and was a great choice; the OG Twisted Ranch held its own of course; the steakhouse was a recommendation from my server and he was right! Those were to name a few that rounded out my top five. Some call outs also included Roasted Garlic and I'll warn you its heavy on the garlic so you better be a garlic lover and the creamy Balsmic. My least favorite was the mango as it was very subtle and reminded me of a Pico de gallo without much flavor to it to set it apart. I ordered the grilled cheese and loaded tots without the bacon. If anyone knows me understands grilled cheese is a favorite. The bread was nicely toasted to give it a good texture and it was not soggy. Overall very good grilled cheese and enjoyed spreading the smoked tomato basil Ranch on it. Come here to vibe, have fun, I recommend it!

This place was great when it came to the food being delicious. Everything else not so much. For one the service was okay with the staff feeling unorganized and uncoordinated. Two the ambiance was okay with arcade and games being tap to pay only instead of with cash. Overall it's a fine bar but it's not too special. I would only come back with friends or for a sports event.

Went to grab drinks which were good, bartender was really nice engaging. Place is kinda dark pub like. Love crunchy fries but a bit over salted and the ranch 35 flavors very good. Decent bar food.

Went to Twisted Ranch with a friend and we had a good experience as always! I've tried their Ranch flight twice and loved it, so I decided to order something else. This time I ordered their one of their chicken wraps and it was delicious! The fries are always perfectly seasoned and I've loved every single ranch I've tried. The wrap was perfect as it was and I wouldn't change anything about it. The wait staff was nice and professional, the lady checked on us throughout our time their but also didn't overdo it, so I appreciated that. This place will always have my business!

I was very excited to try a ranch themed restaurant! Went here for lunch on a weekday with a group of 10. There was no wait as the restaurant was practically empty. The menu is quite large and we all opted to share a ranch flight in addition to other entrees. We were under the impression this would come out first since it's listed as an appetizer but it came out the same time as our entrees. This wouldn't have bothered me if our food didn't take over 45 minutes to arrive! The restaurant wasn't busy at all to warrant the wait but at least the food was tasty. All in all I would give the whole experience 3 stars but as a ranch connoisseur the ranch flight was genuinely quite good and bumped me up to a 4! Note that parties over 6 people have an automatic 20% gratuity

Wow! I would give this place 100 stars if I could. The staff were great! Super nice. The place is clean. The vibe is super chill. The FOOD...... lawd have mercy.....I LOVE RANCH! So we ordered a ranch flight and had 13 very unique sauce choices. All very good. We had the Big Kid Mac and Cheese..... thank you god for putting all of this on our plate. We shared a Chicken Caesar Salad and it came in a large bowl with so much chicken! Lastly we shared the pulled pork nachos and they were divine! The portions are huge. The prices are comparable to restaurants that give you half the amount of food and flavor. I super wish we lived here so I could eat here often!

The food was not the best. Some items were cold and just not my favorite. The server was nice and the restaurant is large enough for a big group.

i just can't give this place more than two stars... the concept is so cool just extremely poorly done. the food is a bit overpriced for what is it. $17 for chicken strips... central west end is a nice area and this restaurant fits the prices but not the quality. it is a grimy restaurant. everything from the bathrooms to the tables you sit at are grimy. they are severely understaffed I came on a Friday night and there weren't busy and there was open tables, but they simply did not have enough servers. The server we had was nice, but truly just too busy to offer even refills or extra napkins when we had none.

Saw a video about this place on TikTok and I was intrigued! So when my boyfriend and I came to town, we really wanted to try it! It's located outside of the main downtown in a nice area. When you enter, it definitely gives off sports bar vibes. We decided to do the 5 ranch sampler which comes with fries. We decided against the 13 or 34 sampler due to price and not being interested in trying all the flavors. My favorites that we got were Asian zing and jalapeño popper. My least favorite was the sweet onion bacon I believe it was called. I love onion and bacon, but it just had a strange flavor. For our entree, our server recommended the chicken tenders, which you get with a side and your choice of 2 ranches. I got pasta salad for my side, which was decent. The chicken was nothing special, as the server had said it was. It was good, just not as good as she hyped it up to be. This place did not live up to the hype. If you go, I don't know that I would necessarily even do the sampler since you can get 2 types of ranch with most entrees.

Went to the Central West End location. And the Service is terrible. Also had to wait for 2 hours to receive our food and the food was cold and incorrect highly don't recommend coming here

Ask the Community - Twisted Ranch

Are all of the tables high tops / bar stool height? I couldn't tell from pictures if there are low/standard tables. We wouldn't be able to go upstairs unless there is an elevator.

Yes we have normal height tables downstairs as well . It is a mix of both .

Can bottles of ranch be shipped?

We have shipped our fresh made ranches from the restaurant in 8oz bottles , but they must be shipped overnight with an ice pack to ensure they stay at proper refrigerated temperature since they are made fresh each day with zero preservatives .

Can you get the Ranch this Country 13 at lunch? It isn't on the menu.

Yes , we updated the menus but online has not been apparently . But absolutely available

Do they have dairy free options? I feel silly asking this about a ranch place but you never know!

Our ranches do include dairy , so only options would be to take the ranch out of any time . We haven’t yet perfected a dairy free ranch yet

Moody lighting, cozy corners, and an effortlessly cool vibe make it the kind of spot where time slows down in the best way. We stopped in for their Sunday late night happy hour (8-11pm) and honestly? Elite move. The energy was relaxed but still buzzy, perfect for winding down the weekend without feeling like the night is over. The cocktails are art. Every drink feels intentional, balanced, and a little unexpected in the best way. You can tell the bartenders really know their craft. Hidden Gems in St. Louis -- and darling, the name is not exaggerating…read more I had the absolute pleasure of attending a birthday celebration here and let me tell you... this place is a vibe, a moment, and a whole sparkling experience. The space is intimate, stylish, and perfectly appointed -- the kind of place that feels like you've stumbled into a secret little jewel box in the city. It's cozy in the best possible way, with an atmosphere that invites laughter, celebration, and maybe just a little fabulous mischief. The bartenders? Absolute pros. Warm, welcoming, and clearly masters of their craft. Naturally, I ordered my classic gin and tonic, and it was perfection in a glass -- crisp, balanced, and exactly what a proper G&T should be. I heard from the birthday boy and his wonderful wife that the owners were incredibly accommodating, and you could feel that hospitality throughout the entire evening. Everything felt effortless and welcoming -- the kind of place where people clearly care about creating a great night. And then... the party truly began. We had drag queens serving glamour and joy, music, laughter echoing through the room, and pizza delivered from the birthday boy's favorite local pizza spot that honestly deserves its own standing ovation. If you want to know where that pizza came from, drop a comment -- because it was outrageously good. By the end of the night I couldn't stop thinking: this place really is a Hidden Gem. A perfect little pocket of St. Louis where good drinks, great people, and a bit of fabulous chaos come together. Sparkle-tastic. Gem-tastic. Pure joy. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!
