We came here for Father's Day and had a blast. We came on Sunday when they do a pretty legit deal, 6 drinks, 50? Tokens, and a fanny pack for $40 (I hope these numbers are right, it's been a couple of months). We sat on the patio for a bit and ordered pizza at the pizza window. While we were waiting for them to bake, we played lots of ski ball and pac man. They have a. Huge selection of games, both upstairs and downstairs. A lot of them are nostalgic and so fun to help bring back memories. We really had a great time, it was the perfect Father's Day outing!

This place is a great late night spot with friends! They always make lay the best music and have a great beer list on tap! The outside area is super nice and spacious. The service is super great and helpful! Very fun spot for photos, spending time with friends and having a great beer!

I had a fantastic evening at Up Down STL for an event. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The Bacon Mac & Cheese pizza was delicious, and I had a blast playing pinball. It was the perfect night to relax outside and catch up with friends and let loose on the games! Also music was on point!

Absolutely love this place! Just a heads up this place is 21+ but on a specific Sunday monthly from 10am to 2pm you can bring the whole family no matter the age just have to check their website to see which Sunday. This spot brings back so many nostalgic games I use to play as a kid growing up and love it. They have an upstairs for games and downstairs. They also have an outside patio area for more people to hangout and they usually have board games out there. They have a good selection of beers, wine and cocktails to choose from and for food they sell pizza!

We went for date night on a Saturday in the 9 o'clock hour. We were checking them out for the BF's birthday as an option. It was beyond packed. Of course you have to be 21 to get in, so they are checking id's at the door. It's a large space with various areas. They have a large bar area with a selection of cocktails and beer. Since it was incredibly packed inside, people of all ages. It was so hard to maneuver around. We were only able to play skee ball and grab some pizza. The veggie pizza is DELICIOUS!!! If you pay in cash you receive a discount. I'd suggest going during the week when the crowds are smaller. We saw mainly arcade games and I would not recommend going if you need wheel chair accessibility during the busy times because there is NO WAY that you will be able to maneuver around at all. It's way to many people for the amount of games available. I'd suggest going to Dave & Buster's or somewhere honestly.

This was such a fun arcade bar that's a must do if you're in the area. This place is massive with several rooms across two floors, including some outdoor areas. There's a great mix of games from different generations, from skeeball to pinball, and even an N64 set up on a projector. The night I was there, some folks even set up Garage Band in the outdoor courtyard, which was a blast to play with some strangers and new friends. You trade in some cash for tokens at the machines, and the prices seem to be pretty reasonable. I didn't try any of the food or drinks, but everyone around me seemed to like them. Definitely check out this great fun spot!

Super fun place to come to! I've been multiple times. On weekends it's busier so if you have a specific game in mind to play, you might have to wait a little bit. But they have so many games to pick from. On Sundays they have a good deal for coins and beer. Prices are pretty reasonable. The games are a lot of fun to play. Good for larger groups or one on one.

Another great space in the CWE! The drinks and pizza would be a stand-alone highlight at other spaces, but the games here were another thing to come back for. The bartenders were great and had the new Four Hands on tap. I also loved the fact that the TV's had wrestling and strange videos of animals rather than sports

    Deanna S.

I love the way they check ID at the door!! Totally prevents an underage crowd from entering the building. The first game I spotted was Skee Ball which is a childhood favorite! Then there is a photo both...There are plenty of games to remind me of my childhood gamer days..lol.. The games take tokens and there is no shortage of games. Two levels of fun fun. The welcoming staff made the experience even better and the foo was good! This is surely a place for an affordable date night, girls night out or just a fun place that's local.

Where do we find the children's day? I don't see it on the website.

To my knowledge there isn't a children's day. This is an arcade bar that has nostalgic games for adults 21+

Is there a group limit in which you need to book ahead or that it's better to book as a party or group ahead of time (estimate 20 adults with children) and on a Saturday? And if so are there packages for groups of a certain size?

They only allow 21yrs of age older to enter except... once a month they have times where under 21 is permitted. Check out their website and scroll to the bottom of their homepage and you will see the available times. The token prices are extremely…

Are there food options besides pizza slices?

Currently, we just sell pizza, but we are working to provide more food options in the future!

Do you have kid hours like parlor?

Once a month they have a children's day. Look online for specific dates and times.

I enjoyed that quiet space for a bit and the afternoon air after the walk from Cortex made the wait feel intentional rather than inconvenient. Comfortable seating out here and the light breeze with the afternoon light was nice as I cranked out a few Yelp reviews before I spotted other customers going inside. After setting up at the huge table in the corner, I stepped up to the bar where I was warmly greeted. I chose their Fish Fry, which they call a light lager. It was in a huge mug and that worked out just fine for me as it lasted a while. Oh, and some chicken wings. These were tasty buggers. Served quite hot with a rub that was more spice than sauce. Very yummy and the two sauces were perfect accompaniment. Absolutely delicious. Not long after, friends arrived and I shifted from solo laptop time to conversation. It's nice to see how Rockwell handles the flow of customers. Casual, attentive, friendly. Just right for a great brewpub and a great time. They do have a parking lot. It was just an easy experience today and a great spot for a meetup or hanging out on your own. [Round number review 400 of 2026 - 498 in Missouri - 25583 overall]

Rockwell Beer Company earns the association honestly. I walk in wary (I don't drink beer, don't like it, and an industrial brewery hugging a busy four-lane street is not my native habitat), I get the sense I need to eat in the corner so people don't discover the non-beer drinker; however, I walked out humming. The reason is the food, sourced through Street Food by Brasas. This is not brewery food that apologizes for itself. Pretzels, wings, both worth ordering again. The pizzas (barbecue, pepperoni) land in that rare category of elevated bar snack. I'd happily return for a table's worth. It's order at the window food service, which is fine for their vibe, but it keeps the environment to a self-service lower warmth environment. We sat outside, which is nice IF you can find some shade on a hot summer evening. 3.9 out of 5 stars The atmosphere isn't built for me, but the kitchen is good enough that I'd get over it to spend an evening with my beer-drinking friends. What would push this higher: a space that compels me the way the plates do.

It was extremely hot outside so we were seated inside, in the "Garden Room." This room has lots of windows (no garden) and got extremely hot during the stay. I guess the AC couldn't keep up with us. This is a brewery so they have lots of beer options. I can't speak to the quality of the beer. Since I have Celiac Disease, I checked ahead of time and made sure that I saw lots of wine on their drink menu as well. Since it was 4PM when I arrived, I asked about any happy hour specials. Sadly, they told me there were only beer happy hour specials, no wine specials. I ordered a glass of white wine from their menu and got what I thought was a small pour of an only so-so glass for the price. I did like that you order your drinks in a separate line, and you can pay as you go like I did or start a tab. This is great for a large group like ours. You can also order food and have it delivered to your table. While this is a large venue in a convenient location, it did not feel very special.

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon.
